Wedding bells are ringing (and fists are pumping) because Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has reportedly tied the knot!
TMZ broke the news that the Jersey Shore star and her fiancé Justin May are officially married, with the nuptials taking place in— where else?!— New Jersey on Thursday, December 4. Sammi and Justin— who welcomed their son Vincent in August— said “I do” at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
(If the name of the venue sounds familiar, it’s because it was the location of Angelina Pivarnick’s disastrous 2019 wedding.)
The site reports that Sammi and Justin’s wedding was filmed, and that the majority of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast was present at the wedding. (Sammi’s ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro did not the festivities Coincidentally, Sammi chose to get married on December 4, which happens to be Ronnie’s birthday.)
As longtime ‘Jersey Shore’ fans will remember, Ronnie and Sammi had an infamously tumultuous relationship in the “Rahn, Stahp” days of the show, leading to a bitter breakup that was one of the main reasons Sammi refused to appear on the Jersey Shore Family Vacation reboot until Season 7 of the series in 2023. In September, Ronnie stated in an interview that things between him and Sammi are cordial now.
“Whatever animosity that was there or whatever bitterness [was] there is finally gone,” he said. “We can coexist and we can work together.”
Anyway, Sammi and Justin announced their engagement in April 2024.

Sammi was previously engaged to Christian Biscardi. The couple was planning for a wedding in Spring 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to postpone their nuptials until September 2020. Sammi eventually confirmed her split from Christian in July 2021.
UPDATE! Several ‘Jersey Shore’ cast members— including Deena Cortese, Nicole Polizzi, Zack Clayton, Jenni Farley, Mike Sorrentino and DJ Pauly D— posted a video of themselves in their wedding outfits, confirming they attended the wedding. Angelina Pivarnick was also there, as was Vinny Guadagnino and Vinny’s Uncle Nino.
In the comment section of the video— posted on Instagram by @MTV_Reality_Teaa— Ronnie’s baby mama ex Jenn Harley made note of the specific day Sammi chose to get hitched (aka Ronnie’s birthday).

“Damn, they couldn’t pick a better day,” she commented.
UPDATE! Sammi and the rest of the cast have been posting photos from Sammi’s big day. According to TMZ, Angelina was having a hard time being at the venue— the location of her ill-fated wedding—but she perked up when she ended up catching the bouquet.
The couple entered the reception while ABBA’s “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) played and pyrotechnics shot up. Their first dance featured smoke coming up from the floor as they swayed to “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. After the dance, Sammi changed into a sparkly evening gown.
Photos posted by the cast showed that Sammi and Justin had an on-demand champagne service, as well as a dance floor that was going off all night like the gang was back at Karma. The cast attended with their significant others, except for Snooki, whose husband Jionni LaValle was noticeably absent from the festivities.
Sammi seems to have learned a little something from Angelina’s wedding and did not make her ‘Jersey Shore’ roomies her bridesmaids. Instead, the ‘Jersey Shore’ girls (and their guys) enjoyed the reception, which included a “Ring for Champagne” station, watercolor paintings of the guests and bar with Sammi and Justin-themed drinks. They even had a ‘Jersey Shore’ Seaside Heights-themed photo background to post in front of.

I’m confused… What was wrong with what they wore? They were literal evening formal dresses… They weren’t in white… If you think they were too exposed then I assume you think Nikki’s dress was also a “disgrace”?

Honestly, it’s getting a little weird how Snooki’s husband wasn’t there. I’ve watched since the beginning and I get it, he doesn’t want to be on the show. But to not be a date to a wedding?.

Why is Snooky’s husband never around are they still together. You qould rhink he could attend a wedding with her if thwy are still married/together
If I remember correctly, a long while ago, Nicole stated he has a problem with the filming and won’t attend things being filmed for the show.
I get the feeling their marriage exists mostly on paper now but I hope that’s not the case. Snookie is one of my favorites and they were super cute together back on the original show.
