From shading nemeses to setting New Years’ sex goals, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Kail Lowry Shades Baby Daddies, Briana DeJesus & Jenelle Evans On-Stage at Comedy Show
Kail Lowry recently took the stage at her friend Matt Mathew’s comedy show, during which she threw shade at all four of her baby daddies– Jo Rivera, Javi Marroquin, Chris Lopez and Elijah Scott— and her former ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars/nemeses Briana DeJesus and Jenelle Evans!
Kail appeared on-stage alongside Matt during the VIP portion of his recent comedy show in Birmingham, Alabama, where Kail took a moment to answer questions submitted by the audience.
“What is the pettiest thing you’ve ever done?” Matt read from a notecard, to which Kail responded by insisting that she isn’t petty.
“She’s correct,” Matt told the audience. “Her baby daddies be doing some f**ked up s**t and I’m like, ‘Bust they windows out!’ And she won’t. She’s like, ‘No, I’m not gonna do that.’”
Kail went on to explain to the audience that she doesn’t retaliate against her baby daddies by maiming their means of transportation because she pays for “all their cars” and would essentially be paying to repair her own vehicles.
While Kail later clarified in a clip from the show posted to TikTok that she was only joking about funding her children’s fathers’ fleet of vehicles.
Kail also threw a tad bit of shade to her old ‘Teen Mom’ nemeses Briana and Jenelle during the live show. When an audience member told Kail she watched ‘Teen Mom 2’ every night, Kail asked her which girl from the show was her favorite. Naturally, the girl said Kail was her favorite.
“Me? Thank God it’s not Briana, obviously!” Kail said. “Or Jenelle! Oh, f**k.”
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans will remember, Kail and Briana had a years-long feud that resulted in numerous online battles, a clown suit and treadmill being sent to Kail, Briana boning at least one (maybe two) of Kail’s baby daddies, and a lawsuit filed by Kail against Briana in 2021 that was later dismissed in favor of Briana.
Kail and Jenelle have also had their fair share of problems over the years including— but not limited to— numerous podcast/social media battles and Jenelle once burning a press kit Kail sent her of her hair products.

Briana DeJesus Talks 2026 Goals, Stress-Free Sex & More
Briana DeJesus is giving thanks in 2026 for what she claims is the life she’s always dreamed of.
The ‘Teen Mom’ recently took to social media to reflect on the many blessings she has in life, noting that a lot of fans are quick to remind her that MTV helped her get to where she is today.
“This is a life that I’ve always [dreamed] of,” Briana said. “A lot of you guys will say, ‘Oh, say thank you to MTV.’ Well, no s**t. First of all, I’m saying thank you to God, but yeah, and I also set myself up to where … I don’t have to worry about some stuff. I don’t have to worry about a mortgage, I don’t have to worry about a car payment.”
Briana listed these accomplishments after noting on her Live that she and the other stars of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ still “don’t know what the future holds” for the long-running series, as they remain “on a break” from filming. (As The Ashley has previously told you, it’s been nearly a year since the cast of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ has filmed for the show and they’ve yet to be informed if the series will be getting a third season. Various cast members have claimed that the show is over, but as of press time, the show has yet to be officially cancelled.)
While her future on ‘Teen Mom’ remains unknown at this time and Briana herself remains single, the mom of two acknowledged that things in her life could be “a lot worse”– including her mental health– while vowing to show more gratitude in 2026.
“ … Life gets to me and I can complain and I seem ungrateful and I hate doing that, like, that’s what I wanna focus on in 2026 … in reality, it could be a lot worse,” she said. “And what if I did have somebody and my mental [health] was f**ked, ya know?”
Briana– who shares daughter Nova with ex Devoin Austin and daughter Stella with ex Luis Hernandez– later opened up on her Instagram Story about her romantic prospects, revealing that she’s currently single. She also discussed the “hard” decision she made a year ago to remove her fallopian tubes in order to avoid getting pregnant again and creating “another broken home for a child that didn’t ask to be here.”
Still, Briana assured fans that she’s considered the fact that she may one day regret going through with the tubal ligation procedure.
“I know a lot of [people] say, ‘What if u find ur person and regret it’ – well I’ll cross that bridge when I get there lmao,” she added.
Briana also told fans that she was celibate for more than a year before undergoing a tubal ligation and that she once looked forward to the day when she could engage in stress-free sex without the fear of getting pregnant.
“ … I wondered what would s*x be like now that that stresser is gone and it’s been GREAT! Lol,” she wrote.

Ashley Jones Celebrates Education Milestones She Plans to Achieve in 2026
While the future of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ remains uncertain, cast member Ashley Jones is looking forward to a productive 2026 as she prepares to obtain her bachelor’s degree and begin graduate school.
Ashley took to TikTok over the weekend to bust a move while touting the educational milestones she plans to achieve in the upcoming year.
“It’s 2026 and you graduate with your bachelors [degree] in 2 months and start your graduate program in 4,” she captioned her video.
Last month, Ashley took TikTok followers along as she did some shopping for grad school, noting that she had to “figure out a whole new style” in order to adhere to the required dress code.
“No one told me certain programs and schools require business attire in class and clinical settings … ,” she wrote.
Back in 2024, Ashley took a semester off from nursing school because she was “going through a lot” and when she decided to return, she claimed that the school informed her that they did not have an opening for her at that time and that she owed them about $10,000. Despite paying that amount to the school, Ashley said she was later informed that she would have to start the nursing program all over again, at which point she chose to transfer to another school.
“ … at first I was really, really stressed about it because I did put a lot of time and effort into that nursing school, but I just could not deal with what I was going through personally … while doing nursing school,” she explained in June. “ … I feel like I did not receive the support I feel like a student like me should receive. I’m not a failing student, a cheating student, a student who doesn’t show up for class, and so I just kind of felt like I would rather go somewhere I feel comfortable than go back to somewhere I don’t feel comfortable … .
“So yeah, I pivoted,” she continued. “I’m still going for my goals, I’m still going for my dreams, but I’m just doing it a different way … .”
As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Ashley was granted a divorce in 2025 from husband Bar Smith, after filing the previous year to end her marriage with the legally challenged, four-browed ‘Teen Mom’ dad.
Along with her divorce being granted in 2025, Ashley was awarded sole legal and physical custody of her and Bar’s daughter Holly. While the court granted Bar supervised visitation of Holly, Ashley claimed in April that Bar had not seen their daughter since November 2024.

Amanda Conner & Ryan Edwards Slammed for Allowing Their Baby to Chew on a Vape Battery
Ryan (and his wife Amanda) received plenty of backlash this week after Amanda posted a video to social media in which their 10-month-old daughter Presley is shown very clearly chewing on a piece of a vape pen.

In the video, which Amanda posted to her and Ryan’s Facebook fan page with the title “She Steals the Battery to My Vape and Casually Walks Off,” Presley is shown taking some of her very first steps. When she falls to the ground and looks up at the camera, it’s revealed that she’s using the vape battery like a chew toy.
In the comment section of the post, fans expressed how dangerous and unsanitary it is to allow a child to put a piece of a vape in her mouth.
“Still kind of gross to let her chew on anything that has to do with smoking!” one person wrote.
“So dangerous,” another person commented. “I’ve had one explode.”
“I think you missed her having that damn vape battery in her mouth! DO TF BETTER MAN!” someone else wrote.
In another comment, someone pointed out that the same vape pen can be seen in another recent video posted by Amanda in which the vape is right next to Presley’s head while she was laying on the bed.
“She’s definitely holding a vape.. look at this one with it on the bed right next to her… wtf letting your baby play with it!? Great parenting.”
Although Amanda is usually very quick to respond to critics on her social media posts, she has yet to comment on VapeGate.

I’m curious what school Ashley was attending. Sounds like a scam, though I know nursing school can be difficult to get a spot in.
Holly is so stinking cute. She looked like the spitting image of Bar when she was younger, but I’m seeing more of Ashley’s side in her lately. She looks just like Pastor Tea in that second pic!

as someone who’s always rooted for amanda and ryan’s sobriety, how has no one called them out or at least amanda how she comes off so addicted to that damn vape, like remember when she found out she was pregnant and admitted she was “trying to” stop vaping during her pregnancy??? even catelynn was able to stop smoking right away each time she found out she was pregnant and that’s a low bar 😫

Serious question- what is wrong with the carpet? Because it’s older? Not all houses have brand new carpet. I’ve had carpet that looks like that and our house was clean and we were not drug addicts.
Also are we sure that’s a vape? Could it be a toy? I’ve never been a vaper so I wouldn’t know what they all look like.

Rhine is still a massive trash bag irresponsible parent, just in a different context. The drugs really fried whatever minimal intellect those two had to begin with. Just needed a Jen caption about the baby playing with a vape pen. Doubtful Mack every allowed her kids to be in a situation like that.
