Jenelle Evans continues to be dragged online by the public and her own family members for her latest parenting stunt, and according to her sister, Ashleigh Evans, that stunt may even land the fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ star behind bars.
As The Ashley previously reported, Jenelle’s teenage son Jace– whose father is Andrew Lewis– had been in a mental health facility for about a month until he was removed last week by Jenelle and taken to another location. According to Andrew (and Ashleigh’s latest posts to X) Jenelle has not told anyone where Jace currently is, including her mom, Barbara Evans, whom Jace had been living with (again) for the past eight months or so.
In a series of tweets posted over the last week, Jenelle’s sister Ashleigh claimed that Jenelle is in contempt of court for violating the existing custody order for Jace (which states that Jenelle is required to give Barb mandatory visits with the 16-year-old). Ashleigh also insisted that Jenelle “will be held accountable” for her actions.
“ … She’s in big time contempt [of] court,” Ashleigh wrote. “Jace will come home. He’s a resident of [North Carolina]. My sister’s dangerous… she has serious mental health issues.”
In another recent tweet, Ashleigh claimed that she was planning to hire a private investigator– presumably to find out Jace’s whereabouts– and stated that her mom would be “going to court soon” to modify custody. While she assured followers it wouldn’t be “too much longer,” Ashleigh maintained that this is “a very unstable situation” for Jace, one which she believes Jenelle did “out of spite.”
Ashleigh also asked for the public’s help in finding Jace.
“If anybody knows where Jace’s whereabouts are, please message me,” Ashleigh wrote. “We’re scared for Jace’s safety.”
Further complicating the situation involving the least-likely candidate for Mother of the Year is the fact that Jenelle reconciled with her ex-husband David Eason in January, despite the fact that David is still facing felony criminal charges for assault by strangulation and child abuse for allegedly assaulting Jace in 2023.
Jenelle’s sister reiterated in other tweets that Barbara would be “going to court for modification of custody,” while confirming that her mom has partial custody of Jace, and alleging that Jenelle has “been in contempt for about a couple of years now.”
On Wednesday, Ashleigh posted a gif featuring her sister’s many mugshots from over the years, while hinting that Jenelle may soon be adding another mugshot to her penal portfolio.
“Waiting,” Ashleigh wrote alongside the gif. “Just waiting for the next shot..”
Over the last month or so, Ashleigh— who has been estranged from Jenelle for years but remains close to Barbara— praised Jace’s dad Andrew for “stepping up” for Jace in recent years, adding that Andrew is currently paying for Jace’s medical insurance, despite him being cut off from contacting Jace by Jenelle.
“I will say that I am very proud and I encouraged him to kind of step up more for Jace because my sister’s not able to do that, or she just refuses to be a parent at this point,” Ashleigh wrote on X last month.
As The Ashley previously told you, Andrew is required— along with Barbara and Jenelle—to attend the mediation sessions that have been scheduled since Barbara filed for the custody order for Jace to be modified last month. Should the mediation be unsuccessful, the trio will then move on to a having a court hearing.
Currently the GoFundMe started by Andrew last month to help raise money to pay Jace’s medical expenses and Barbara’s legal fees has raised over $10,700 as of press time.

If Andrew ‘s health insurance is covering anything towards Jaces treatment, wouldn’t all Andrew would have to do to find out where Jace is, is ask his own medical insurance company? He absolutely had that right….so Andrew, why haven’t you asked?
Not holding my breath but it would be awesome to see her get some actual consequences for once.
If they actually caught David moved in to the house with her, I’d imagine that might be enough to trigger more investigation into her other children’s well being too.
I feel this is ALL Jenelle and David trying to intimidate Jace and stop him from testifying against David. He knows what he did to Jace and is scared so he’s trying to eliminate the “threat”, Jace. I believe David knows he’s going to be screwed and do jail time. Jenelle is a horrible, disgusting and grimy person.
I’m praying for Jace and will continue to do so I’ll he patiently waiting for Karma to deal with Jenelle.
What about Kaiser? Having to live in that house with 2 lowlife, losers in charge of him. These poor kids! Why have things even gotten to this point? These kids need to feel safe and supported. The court system needs to DO Better! If anything happens to these kids, it’s partly the courts fault. I’d like to know what kind of moron of a judge they have in NC that keeps buying into Jenelle’s bullshit! That judge should send their children to live with Jenelle and David if they are so sure they aren’t bad parents. Ridiculous! I’d love to run into Jenelle in public and give her a piece if my mind.

Also, if Andrew’s insurance is covering Jace (he’s shown proof he has Jace on his insurance), and his insurance is being billed, they would find out fast where Jace is.

I believe she thought the insurance info would move from one facility to the current one. When it didn’t and now they want it…it triggered the texts to Andrews family harassing them about Andrew not providing it to her for the new facility. It’s a double edge sword at this point…if he gives it to her he may be able to find out the location when they finally bill, but she will probably twist it in court to make it look like he was ok with Jace being moved…and that is why he’s using his insurance.

If Jenelle is so dangerous then how come Barb, Ashleigh, etc aren’t doing anything about Kaiser and Ensley? Especially with there being accusations about David abusing Kaiser. And if Jenelle gets arrested, where will they go? Poor Ensley will be stuck with David. Everyone seems to be okay with that..
This all stemmed from Jace having a reaction to Forehead getting back with swamp creature extraordinaire. That by itself is a factor in removing custody. She’s unhinged and selfish.

OMG, you mean one of those troubled teen camps in Utah? The ones that people, most notably Paris Hilton, has stated they abuse kids. Bhad bhabie (the cash me outside girl) has spoken about her abuse experience at the camps as well as many others teens. There were documentaries on this.

Ashleigh needs to hire a private investigator instead of asking a bunch of strangers to help track down Jace. As far as Jenelle being accountable? That will never happen. The courts will never do what’s right when it comes to this situation. I have lost all faith in the so called justice system.
The courts and child protection services have continually failed to protect Jace. Jenelle has been arrested at least 15 times and I think David is close to that many times being arrested. Have they served actual jail time? Have they had to pay consequences? Has it changed anything whatsoever? No, no and no.
Jenelle will turn the waterworks on and have her fake clutch her pearls moments in court and they will believe her. Again. She isn’t fit to raise a goldfish.
I hope I’m wrong. I hope one day I’m shocked that Jace is where he needs to be happy and loved. That David serves time for abusing Jace. That Jenelle serves time for her abuse though that’s less likely since she has mastered being a professional victim. Sadly though I don’t think that will happen anytime soon.
Dog Killer Dave did spend time in jail for burglary, theft and something else I can’t remember. He met Jenelle’s ex, Courtland in jail. So his story about not knowing who she was when they met on Tinder is total bullshit. He got out of jail, briefly had a job, then sought Jenelle out on Tinder because he knew she had money and a history of immediately moving men into her house and supporting them.
I believe the court will grant Barb custody again when they finally get there. What Jenelle did this time is so pathetically transparent as nothing more than wanting to hurt Barb and had nothing to do with Jace’s best interest. Jace had been back with Barb for 8 months and was doing well. Finding out his egg donor had gotten back together with his abuser is what triggered his mental health crisis and Jace is nearly 17 years old. His input is going to matter to the judge hearing the case this time. Also, Jenelle cutting off Jace’s contact with Barb is a direct violation of the custody arrangement she agreed to when Jace went to live with her at the swamp. Legally, she IS in contempt of court and it will all depend on the judge that hears the case whether she will be charged with it.
Silly question but if Andrew is paying his health insurance shouldn’t there be new claims coming in from a new facility that would have its locations visible on the invoices?
Those claims can take time to be processed and sent out. I would imagine they want to find Jace sooner than that, especially with Sasquatch being back in the picture.
