Bella Vaughn’s first reality TV experience was seemingly not what the teen mom expected, as she recently slammed those behind Unexpected for allegedly not offering “very much help” when she and other cast members began to receive “hate” from fans online.
While answering questions from fans on TikTok Live recently, Bella– who was joined by fellow Season 7 star Mia Quebedeaux– was asked if she would choose to appear on ‘Unexpected’ again, or if her participation on the show was more of a “one and done” situation. In response, Bella slammed the TLC series for not adequately preparing her and her castmates for the backlash they received as Season 7 has aired.
“I just feel like I got way too much hate from the show and the show didn’t offer us very much help,” Bella said. “They just kind of threw us out there.”

Mia seemed to agree with Bella’s stance on the cast members getting no help from production in regard to the hate they get.
During the same Live, Bella stated that one scene from the season— in which she spoke about her then-13-year-old boyfriend Hunter‘s desire to have anal sex in order to avoid getting Bella pregnant again— garnered her a particularly large amount of hate.

This isn’t the first time Bella has publicly criticized the TLC series on social media, with the 16-year-old and her controversial (and recently arrested) mom, Falen Vaughn, alleging earlier this month that ‘Unexpected’ is “scripted” and that the events and actions shown are “fake.”
“I went on the show to share my story,” Bella claimed on TikTok Live. “I was not aware that it was going to be fake. So fake, to the point where all the hate I’m getting is because I said something I had to say. [Producers] just kind of threw us out to the wolves. They didn’t tell us what would happen.”
When asked on the Live what specific events from the show were “fake,” Bella claimed that “probably everything you seen on the show [was fake] except my C-section, and [my baby daddy] Hunter [Johnson] being stood up [by his dad]. That was not fake.”
Bella went on to allege that producers had even given her a “script” to read on-camera during filming; however, that claim has not been backed by any other ‘Unexpected’ cast member– current or past. In fact, Misty “Mama G” Georgeff, mom of Season 7 star Amya, later hopped on TikTok Live herself to dispute Bella and Falen’s claims, insisting the show “is not scripted.”

“Whoever is saying that is trying to cover their own ass for s**t!” Mama G said.
Like Amya’s mom, many fans accused the Vaughns earlier this month of trying to “backpedal” on their Season 7 comments and actions– many of which were deemed inappropriate by viewers.
As The Ashley previously reported, some of the Vaughns’ on-camera behavior (like Falen and husband Kris Vaughn allowing Bella and her then 13-year-old boyfriend Hunter to shower together and talk about anal sex on-camera) was also harshly criticized by Hunter’s father, Casey Johnson, who filed for full custody of Hunter last month, as well as custody of Bella and Hunter’s one-year-old son Wes.

Following the recent fight between Hunter’s mom, Stacie Riddle, and Hunter’s dad and stepmom– in which Falen showed up to the scene and ended up getting arrested for disorderly conduct and interfering with police– Casey was awarded emergency custody of Hunter, while Stacie was suspended from having custody of the teen dad for time being. Additionally, the Vaughns were banned from having any contact with Hunter unless it’s supervised by Casey.
On this week’s season finale of ‘Unexpected,’ fans got to catch up with the cast of teen parents, 10 months after Season 7 wrapped. While it was mentioned in Bella’s update that Hunter was spending alternating weeks with Stacie and Casey, Bella’s segment concluded with text informing viewers that Hunter’s dad had since filed for custody of both Hunter and Wes.

now why do they keep trying to convince us the producers and entire show are at fault for everything, we know they’re the ones who wanted to be famous so bad and u just know it was falen who pushed for it too since it came out recently that she was a teen mom super fan back then
And this is why minors don’t need to be on TV. And if they are, their PARENTS need to take accountability for exploiting them.
Awwww but i thought you guys welcomed the hate bc it would make you famous! Remember all those big and bad tiktoks you did before the show aired?
I don’t believe she read from a script bc i doubt her literacy to begin with and i doubt she could memorize a script. they are just mad that they are getting in the legal weeds now and its not looking good
Her parents are the only ones to blame. They need to be parents and not friends. Someone also should look into these children being hypersexualized. I don’t mean open about having sex -I mean the mother and father supporting children being sexually active days after she had a baby. (Also at all.) Joking about plan B and that she’ll be pregnant again by the time she is 16.
I kinda feel bad for her. She thought she was going to be rich and famous from this show. Instead, people don’t like her, she can’t see her boyfriend anymore and she may lose her son. Unexpected consequences for sure.
Guessing they talked to a lawyer and were told they didnt have a good shot. They thought they were going to be famous folk heros, because they don’t understand how sick in the head they all are.
People warned them, they just didn’t listen. I think that felonious freaky Falen is too obsessed with that minor boy to do restrain herself.
She’s also a child herself so I do feel bad for Bella but the way to avoid online hate is to just not be chronically online reading it all the time. Which I honestly don’t understand how she has time to do any of that while also going to school, cheerleading and parenting. Everyone’s mental health, including Bella’s, would be significantly better if they weren’t chronically online all the time.
Perhaps I’m old school but I noticed Bella had a tattoo. Again, she’s a child and her parents didn’t think your only 16 maybe let’s wait until you are 18. These people and their life decisions for her are utterly irresponsible. I have cringed every time their segment would come on. They should be more like Mia’s dad Keith. He could school them for sure.
I kinda feel bad for Bella too since she’s also a kid. One day, she and Hunter are going to realize that the people who were supposed to help them were their parents. Falen, Kris, and Stacie exploited these kids and have completely failed as parents.
Your parents are supposed to be the ones to help and support you, dumb-dumb. They were just too busy trying to be famous
I hope Hunter’s dad succeeds in getting custody of Bella’s son so he isn’t raised by these low life idiots
Please. Fallon and Bella got on social media BEFORE the show even aired and said that they loved the haters because the haters were going to make them famous. Then they proceeded to ask the “haters” to keep hating them because that would make them popular and put more money in their pockets.
Sounds like Bella was aware of how they would be perceived and invited it. And the ONLY one that should have protected them is their parents. They should have never allowed their minor children to sign up in the first place. What did they expect?
first thank you Ashley for keeping us up to date on this shit show 👀
