One day after her arrest for child abuse and DUI, “Teen Mom” alum Amanda Conner made a phone call to 911, asking for assistance in fetching her belongings from the house she shares with her husband Ryan Edwards, explaining to the cops that she was in fear of Ryan because he became angry after she told him their relationship was over, and that he has been violent with her in the past.
In the audio of the 911 call— exclusively obtained by The Ashley— Amanda alleges that Ryan has a history of being “very abusive” to her in the past. She explains that she is scared to go into their home without police, given how Ryan reacted when she said their marriage was over. She also tells the 911 operator that she and Ryan are divorcing.
(The current status of Amanda and Ryan’s marriage is unknown. Why Amanda has addressed her relapse and DUI in several recent TikTok videos, she has not publicly discussed where her and Ryan stand.)
In addition to the abuse allegations Amanda made against Ryan in this call, Amanda’s sister Ashley also claimed last month that Ryan was violent with Amanda, stating that he allegedly came close to killing her via strangulation a few months ago. (Ryan has not addressed those allegations publicly.)
In the audio of Amanda’s 911 call, she explained that she is scared.
“I’m just requesting an officer to be here so I can get the things out of my house,” Amanda begins. “Me and my husband are in the middle of a divorce and he’s been abusive in the past and I just don’t feel comfortable…”
Amanda goes on to describe some of the alleged abuse she’s suffered at Ryan’s hand in the past, even stating that she has proof of the alleged abuse, but never turned the ‘Teen Mom’ dad into police because she knew he’d be arrested.
“I have pictures of me with black eyes, [busted?] nose,” Amanda said. “I never reported it to the police because I just didn’t want him to go to jail that day. But, yes, I have evidence of him being very abusive.”
Amanda tells the 911 operator that Ryan told her she could go into the house to get her stuff, but she believes doing so will end in violence toward her.
“That’s what he does. I’ll go in to get [my stuff] and he tricks me and I get stuck in there,” Amanda says.
Amanda says that she and Ryan are both at their home; however, she’s outside in her car and is “scared to go in.”
She then explains that she’s scared because of the reaction she received from Ryan that morning when she told him their marriage was over.
“I actually stayed the night here last night and I woke up and was like, ‘This is not going to work out’ and then he started yelling. Like, the look in his eye, I knew better so I grabbed my purse and went to the car,” Amanda said.
She then tells the operator that Ryan “is probably in there destroying my s**t so if they could hurry, that would be nice.”
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans will remember, Ryan has a history of destroying things belonging to his exes. Back in 2023, he (allegedly) absolutely trashed the home he shared with his ex-wife Mackenzie and their children, after they split. A few days after Amanda’s arrest, her sister Ashley revealed more details about Ryan’s alleged abuse against Amanda. (As The Ashley previously reported, Ryan called the cops on Amanda the day of her arrest to report that she was allegedly driving high with their daughter Presley in the car.)
“[Ryan and Amanda] had got into it,” Amanda’s sister stated in a video posted to social media. “They have been getting into it a lot here lately, and even to the point of him being physical with her, whooping her [a**], choking her out…
“… I mean, it was a couple of months ago and he about killed her,” she alleged. “I mean, choking her out, whooping her a** and everything. [He] about killed her and y’all don’t know about that because she didn’t call the police.”
Ashley added that she believes Amanda “probably definitely should have” called the police because “she thought that her life was going to end.”
“She lost consciousness multiple times and continued to be choked and strangled,” Ashley said.

The baby Is with Ryan’s parents and has a protection order against Amanda! From what we have heard her son is with his grandmother and is safe. He has been there for some time, IE: missing for Utube and other posts in the last months.
House is in Ryan’s parents name so I don’t think he will trash it like he did in the case of Mack’s house.
Somehow most of these cast members from his show have gone off the deep end: Nathan,jenelle, david, ryan, amanda, amber and all her flings, Adam and the list goes on.
Clearly if you listened to Amanda’s family she grew up in a very Dysfunctional Household and does not have a clue 10th grade education. Her sister’s don’t sound much more educated or Confident To even raise children.
I believe that Ryan and Amanda are mutual combatants. That girl is way too stubborn to just let a man whoop on her. As much as I can’t stand Mackenzie, her and her lawyer are going to have a field day with all of this. As for Ryan, I was really hoping that his redemption tour was genuine, but dude has a history, and I guess his karma is being exposed as a repeat woman abuser.
Ryan should not have dated anyone after it came out that he killed cats “for fun.” This guy is not well and shouldn’t be around children OR women. But I’m sure he will get another girl if he really divorces. Poor little baby they had.
People were saying this audio is fake and it might be as no divorce has been filed. Their also still living together as just a hour ago, Amanda posted a video on Facebook (her official page). She talked about it and even said Ryan was sleeping next to her. They also need to change that dang smoke detector battery already.

I maybe wrong about this. But I don’t think they are getting a divorce. I think they are playing a game to get the children back. I think they use the word divorce instead of I’m mad. She is still reposting her old videos of her and Ryan. Idk just my two cents. I don’t condone any bad or negative behavior.
I believe Ryan has been violent. He has proven how violent he can be. Of course, Amanda mocked Mack and acted like she was making it up. But, here we are. Ryan is a bad person, sober or not. And the same goes for Amanda.

It’s only been three years since his split from Mack?! And he’s already gotten remarried, had a kid and now is divorcing again all while being a recovering addict? This is pretty wild.
Right? I did a double take when I saw “2023”. His dysfunction is do rapid fire it felt potentially pre-COVID. There’s definitely at least six years worth of craziness compressed into the last three.

Strangulation is an extremely high risk factor for serious harm & femicide. Amanda may have her own issues but that does not mean that Ryan is not an abuser & a serious risk to women. None of this is surprising, but years of enabling & green lighting of the behaviour of abusive men leads to escalation and a belief that they are untouchable. Ryan had never truly faced accountability.

I’m usually a “believe all women” type of person but I’m finding it hard to believe her. She made fun of Mac for everything and acted like ryan would never do any of that with her cause she’d whoop his ass herself. She acted big and bad and incredibly petty and said ryan “met his match” with her. I will never believe Amanda just cowered as ryan abused her(if he did at all) and she never gave as good as she got. This is all highly convenient to come out after the arrest.
He has a significant physical advantage over her and we know he isn’t afraid to get physical with a partner. The sentiment that “she wouldn’t let him beat her” can actually discourage women from seeking help in abusive relationships. Women are disbelieved or fear they won’t be believed, or they may feel ashamed or embarrassed that people may see them as weak.
There are no winners in this sad tale that began when two drug addicts found renewed hope for a better life with each other while in rehab. Unfortunately, the biggest losers in all of this are the children involved. Ryan and Amanda both need intensive in-patient rehab at separate facilities (plus anger management for Ryan!) and to stay far away from each other from now on.
Aren’t Jen and Larry around alot? Surely they would’ve noticed or been aware of this?

I believe Amanda was charged with child abuse and barred from seeing bubs. I’m assuming she’s gone into the care of J&L (who will definitely take care of baby but continue to enable Ryan while painting a Happy front on social media as they do downplaying everything). This was always a train wreck waiting to happen and unfortunately a new baby has been brought into the world and this dysfunctional dynamic with Ryan as father and Amanda who is clearly back on drugs and struggling. It’s the children that lies out and these situations over and over and until women realise they cannot change Ryan, they’re not THE one who can fix him, and that two drug addicts in recovery should not probably get together, get married and make a baby… The cycle will continue.
There’s no question Amanda’s back on drugs, I believe Ryan is as well and I believe that he is also being abusive but I believe that Amanda has allowed Ryan to do this while around the children so in my eyes she’s as bad as he is at this point and they both need serious help
Maci called the cops on Ryan, had a whole restraining order against him, Bentley was banned from see him.. Why are you blaming her in this situation she has nothing to do with..?
And then, because it suited her financially, she made a huge display of forgiveness, acting like Ryan had been redeemed and that Amanda was her best friend. This isn’t Maci’s fault, but she absolutely pushed the whole “Ryan is redeemed!” nonsense while he was actively making Mack, Jagger, and Stella’s lives a living hell.

LOL you’re kidding right? Never mind her numerous tax liens. But, she was able to leverage this into a Teen Mom storyline for which she and Ryan were paid tens of thousands of dollars per episode. You don’t see how she and Ryan “making peace” while the cameras were rolling didn’t benefit her financially?

The same rule applies to women just as equally. Violent people are always violent people.
There is zero doubt that Ryan is violent, his history proves this. There is also zero doubt that Amanda is violent, again her history proves this. Two violent addicts will always be two violent addicts. Whether or not they use said violence against one another might be up in the air for some, but not these two.
Not that ANYONE deserves the violence either of them dole out, of course. There is just no defense for either one. Both have a history of violence and a life of addiction. Neither one is working towards sobriety. This wasn’t a relapse for either, it was and remains a continuance of their general lives, in stereo.
Ryan definitely has a history of being abusive but I find it a tad suspect that Amanda all of a sudden wants to make claims he’s been abusive towards her AFTER her arrest went public

Mack was an even bigger idiot for getting with him because she saw how he treated Maci & Bentley, knew he was using drugs, and still married his sorry ass.

Tbh and I’m not like a Maci fan, but she was literally a teenager when they got together. But Ryan indeed was a loser, or at least on the path, I can’t believe she was allowed to date a 20/19 yo when she was 16.

Look, I don’t wish abuse on anyone. Ryan is very wrong for doing any of this to any women, ever. But when it was Mac, Amanda publicly harassed her and tormented her. Now that Amanda has the same fate (if she isn’t making it up to gain control over the divorce) then it’s suddenly an issue. I pray for the poor child of Ryan and Amanda.
I was looking for a comment like this! While I never liked Mackenzie, Amanda was all haha kiki-ing when it was Mack and her kids but now that she, herself, is in the same predicament it’s “I’m scared, help me”.
I do not condone domestic violence in any way but the hypocrisy of women who laugh at another woman’s pain and suffering caused by a man only to then be in the exact same position by the same man later on is sad
