Scheana Shay wants everyone to know she doesn’t want to go to Lisa Vanderpump’s hotel anyway.
On Friday’s episode of the Scheananigans podcast, the former Vanderpump Rules star responded to a listener’s question about being banned from her ex-boss’ new hotel.
“I don’t want to go to that f**king hotel,” she said. “Do you know how many better hotels there are in Vegas? Like, I’m good, so I don’t care.”
While Scheana isn’t welcomed at the new Las Vegas hotel, some of her troublesome male former castmates are— a fact Scheana takes issue with.
Another listener asked what the retired SUR-ver thought of Lisa inviting Tom Sandoval– notorious for cheating on his live-in girlfriend Ariana Madix– and James Kennedy, who was arrested in spring 2025 for domestic violence.
(In addition, Lisa extended an invite to ‘Vanderpump Villa’ star Marciano Brunette, who was accused of sexual misconduct by ‘Mormon Wives’ star Demi Engemann last year, a charge he and Lisa have denied.)
“I would say as a recovering ‘pick me,’ um, I recognize pick-me behavior when I see it, so, yeah,” Scheana said. “I’ve always found it interesting that certain men can seem to get, like, endless chances with her… No matter what happens, they’re just welcomed back into the fold. They’re defended; they’re given another opportunity.
“Meanwhile, the women are held to a completely different standard and the grace doesn’t always seem to flow equally, I will say,” Scheana said.
Scheana suggested that this may be due to the fact that Lisa feels like it’s easier to influence the guys, or that she likes to be around people who won’t call her out.
“Maybe she just prefers to surround herself with people who won’t challenge her,” she said. “But, look, that is her choice. She gets to decide who she wants in her circle and at her events, and I’m perfectly fine being outside of the circle.”
“Look at the guest list [at the hotel’s opening]. For me that just says it all,” Scheana added. “Sometimes the people you consistently stand behind tell a bigger story than the people you leave out. At this point in my life I’m just much more interested in surrounding myself with people whose actions match their values.”
Elsewhere in the episode Scheana talked about reuniting with her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ castmates (an idea she thought would work in 10 years) and shared how she feels about her former coworkers.
“… some of the women, I miss how close we used to be,” she said. “I do feel confident that eventually I can get back to the place with some of them. Obviously, some of them I don’t want to be close with.”
Ex-BFF Lala Kent, who Scheana has been feuding with for the past year, is definitely in the second group. When asked by a listener if she agreed with Lala’s claim on a recent episode of ‘The Valley’ that she’s always 100% accountable, Scheana replied, “If that had been my experience with her, we would still be friends, so that’s a hard no.”
Scheana was also asked her opinion of Sandoval’s recent (very messy and very public) breakup with Victoria Lee Robinson.
“I have not spoken to him; I will not be speaking to him,” she said. “That relationship was toxic from the start and people close to him had told me that. I witnessed it.
“We all saw what happened at BravoCon so, yeah, I can’t say I’m surprised because I did feel like that relationship was doomed from the beginning.”

The episode was interrupted when a producer asked Scheana to check her phone for the then-breaking news that former ‘VPR’ and ‘The Valley’ star Jax Taylor was caught on a romantic trip to Mexico with his and his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright’s publicist, Lori Krebs.
“Dude, I knew she was a f**king snake years ago!” Scheana declared. “You can’t tell me this wasn’t going on back then.
“To say I’m disgusted would be an understatement, but, honestly, I can’t even say I’m surprised,” Scheana continued. “Those two f**king deserve each other. … That is such a f**king betrayal, it is so disgusting.”

I’ll bet Scheana wishes she had taken Ariana’s side instead of trying to be friends with Ariana and Tom after he cheated on her. I can bet thats who scheana is referring to. Oh, and maybe Charlie.
