Amanda Batula insists that she’s getting more out of her relationship with West Wilson than she did in her marriage to Kyle Cooke, despite the former Summer House star revealing that she and West have yet to say “I love you” to each other.
As Bravo fans know, Amanda and Kyle announced their split in January after four years of marriage. Two months later, Amanda and West confirmed their romance in a joint social media statement following weeks of speculation among fans, Kyle, and West’s ex-girlfriend Ciara Miller, who was a close friend of Amanda’s.

Amanda’s polarizing partnership with West was addressed during Tuesday’s In the City reunion (part 1), where Amanda was quick to confirm that she and her costar-turned-boyfriend are monogamous; however, when asked by host Andy Cohen if she and West are also “in love,” Amanda provided a much flimsier response.
“I…that’s a weird question to answer,” she said, to which cast member Lindsay Hubbard interjected to pointedly ask Amanda if she and West “say I love you” to each other.

“Not really,” Amanda replied, before also revealing that she and West have never said “I love you” to one another.
When another ‘In the City’ cast member told Amanda that saying “I love ya” is the same as saying “I love you,” Amanda agreed, and seemed to confirm that she and West have said “I love you,” but only in acronym form.
“Yeah, ‘ILY,’” Amanda said.
As ‘Summer House’ fans may recall, when Andy asked West this same question during the Season 10 reunion, the podcaster claimed that he and Amanda were “not using the word ‘love’ right now.” The question was posed to West again (this time by Kyle) on the ‘Summer House’ bonus episode. While West didn’t claim to be in love with Amanda at the time, he admitted that he loves her and has “for a very, very long time.”

The speculation about Amanda and West’s relationship continued during Tuesday’s reunion after one of Amanda’s ‘In the City’ castmates noted that West seems to have many of the same qualities that Amanda claimed to not like about Kyle.
“That’s not what I’ve been experiencing, whatsoever,” Amanda argued. “And on the flip side, I’m actually getting from [West] things that I felt I was lacking in my relationship with Kyle.”
When asked to clarify her statement, Amanda insisted that West is more “supportive” than Kyle– a remark that Kyle took issue with.

“ … there were things that were missing, not the whole time, but there were things that were lacking,” Amanda explained to her ex, who in turn, argued that he is “still doing things to help” Amanda.
“ … it still hurts when you say things like that,” Kyle added. “I understand our marriage was not perfect, I understand that there was a lot missing, [but] I don’t think ‘support’ was [missing].”
Amanda went on to claim that the way West speaks to her and acts towards her is “just different” than what she experienced in her relationship with Kyle.
As The Ashley previously told you, neither Amanda nor West are returning to ‘Summer House’ for Season 11, which has already begun filming. TMZ reported last month that while Amanda is no longer a full-time cast member on the Bravo series, she may still make a drop-in appearance on the show randomly.
