Mama June is OK with daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon being on OnlyFans but just “hopes her daughter made more than $10K from the explicit content,” the reality TV matriarch told TMZ.
While giving Pumpkin her blessing, June did have a few concerns. “She says there’s a digital footprint to consider … pointing out Pumpkin’s kids may not know what OnlyFans is right now, but could eventually come across their mom’s content when they’re older.,” TMZ reported.
“That said, June says there’s no issue between her and Pumpkin over the decision. Pumpkin is 26 years old, she says, and what she chooses to do is ultimately up to her.”

The 26-year-old mom of four joined the subscription-based platform back in March, inspired, she told TMZ, “after watching friends rake in serious money on the platform.” Within two weeks, Pumpkin reported she’d already made nearly six figures posting sexy photos of herself.
That payday has only grown as Pumpkin’s adults-only endeavor has grown to include collabs with other OnlyFans creators and even sexy-time videos with her boyfriend Darrin Kitchens (who’s also her ex-husband Josh Efird’s cousin). Subscribers who pay $9.99 a month to access Pumpkin’s channel are paying $100-150 more for couple’s video content.
Of her decision to add the steamier content to her OnlyFans, Pumpkin told TMZ, “I really started doing hardcore because, truthfully, it’s another revenue of money and so many options to do and give.”
Pumpkin is also making money with club appearances, including shows next weekend in South Carolina and West Virginia. In a Reel posted to her Instagram account following an appearance at a club in Tennessee, Pumpkin revealed how much money she can make from this sideline and what’s involved.
“They give me a set fee from the jump, I’m not going to go over that because everyone’s is different, but do know that it’s in the thousands of dollars range, OK,” she said. “Mind you they require me to do at least one set at their club, that can be for as many minutes as I want, I can get as undressed as I want, that is completely up to me, sometimes I take my top off, I never take my bottoms off, so I guess if you want to call me a stripper I am that, but I did tell my mom from a young age I would be one.”
For the appearance she referred to into the Reel, in addition to her appearance fee, Pumpkin shared she also made nearly $700 in tips.
In an interview on the 2 Goons podcast last month, Pumpkin confirmed that being an adult-content creator was more lucrative than appearing on reality TV. “I have made more in the last less than a month on OnlyFans than I do in a season of the show,” she said.
If June, Pumpkin and their family return for a ninth season of Mama June: Family Crisis, expect to learn more about this growing adult-content empire.
“I’m not being ugly, our show follows our family drama, I would be very surprised if we do get another season if they don’t cover that,” Pumpkin said on the 2 Goons podcast. I don’t think they’ll cover the adult content part of it, but I definitely think they’ll cover it to a PG level.”
While Pumpkin is the first member of her family to launch an OnlyFans account, she’s not the first one to think about it. According to TMZ, “June tells us she considered joining OnlyFans herself back in 2020, when she viewed the site as more PG and saw it as a way for celebrities to connect with fans. She ultimately decided against it … saying the explicit route isn’t something she’d personally take, especially with kids in school.”

Thank you, The Ashley. It’s bad enough that my dreams turned into nightmares the second you mentioned David Eason being on Only Fans, but now that I know that Darrin is on there too I am just waiting for the full fledged night terrors to begin. *sigh* 😉
Yikes.
Hope the club thing works out. Its an entirely different ballgame being up on a stage with all eyes and a huge spotlight on you, folks expecting you to move fairly well to music all while scrutinizing your body– versus filming, where you don’t see your audience.
