The family feud over the future of Roloff Farms continued this week when Jacob Roloff’s wife Isabel criticized her sister-in-law Audrey for claiming on social media (once again) that she and husband Jeremy are entertaining the idea of purchasing a portion of the famous farm that was featured on ‘Little People Big World.’
As The Ashley previously reported, Jacob and Jeremy’s dad Matt announced in 2022 that he was listing a more than 16-acre portion of the family’s 109-acre farm– including the Roloff’s former (nearly 6,000-square-foot) home and notable red barn– despite admitting that he wanted the farm to stay in the family.
At the time, Matt insinuated that his twin sons, Jeremy and Zach, were to blame for the property being sold, sparking a family feud that became public when Zach blasted his dad on social media for “manipulating the narrative” of the situation to ‘Little People Big World’ fans.
After failing to unload the property in summer 2022, Matt announced in October of that year that he was scraping the sale idea and turning the farmhouse into a short-term rental, which opened for guests that December. The portion of Roloff Farms was re-listed eight months later for $3,395,000– a significant decrease from the initial $4 million asking price. The property was taken off of the market for a period of time before Matt announced in April 2025 that the family’s farm was once again up for grabs– this time, for the (further reduced) price of $2,895,000.
Recently on social media, Matt’s daughter-in-law Audrey reminded followers that, just a couple of months ago, she and Jeremy had “the opportunity to revisit purchasing the farm” for themselves, but ended up deciding not to.
“However, every time we go there, we can’t help but wonder if there is a way to still buy it through some creative means,” Audrey claimed. “Not necessarily to live on, but to use it for a business, ministry, and/or place for goodness and beauty to multiply. I still just have this hunch that a God might make a way.”
In the comment section of her post, Audrey also mentioned the possibility of using the property as a “wedding venue or a homeschool farm style co op.”
Audrey’s latest comments come just two months after she claimed that she and Jeremy– who purchased a farm of their own in Oregon back in 2022– were “still dreaming, praying and trying to figure out some possible way to save Roloff Farms.”
When asked this week on TikTok to weigh in on Audrey’s claims about trying to “save” the family farm, Isabel admitted that her sister-in-law’s comments felt “incredibly disappointing.”
“They have never talked to us about it,” Isabel said of Audrey and Jeremy. “We don’t have the money to ‘save’ it but we are here, every day, showing up, working it.”
(As The Ashley previously told you, Matt revealed in April 2024 that Jacob had returned to the family’s farm, where he was living and working full time with his wife and son.)
“We tend to the plants and animals and the land of this place,” Isabel told fans this week. “We’ve been here for 4 years trying to figure out how to authentically save it but at the end of the day? You need money.
“I just get a bad taste in my mouth that they talk about it like they would be the ones to come in and save the day when we’re here, wishing we could find a way to make it work,” she continued. “They never asked if we wanted to work together.”
Audrey has not yet responded to her sister-in-law’s comments.
