Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon may soon have to swap out her barely there OnlyFans ensembles for something more courtroom-appropriate.
According to TMZ, the ‘Mama June’ star is considering taking legal action against a private school in Georgia for recently denying her daughter Ella’s admission as a result of Pumpkin’s NSFW online occupation. At this time, Pumpkin hasn’t confirmed that she will lawyer up, but is reportedly “weighing her options.”
As The Ashley told you last week, Pumpkin took to Facebook to fire off two posts aimed at John Milledge Academy (JMA) in Milledgeville, Georgia. In the posts, Pumpkin revealed that her daughter Ella– whom she shares with ex-husband Josh Efird– was rejected by JMA, who claimed that Pumpkin’s online activity “does not align with their school.”
Pumpkin claimed she had spoken with JMA’s admissions department multiple times, paid application fees and was told that Ella could start attending school last week. At the last minute, however, Pumpkin claimed that she was informed by JMA (during a meeting held at the school) that Ella would not be accepted as a student after all.
Pumpkin wrote that she understands her “line of work” may not be for everyone, but maintains that the situation with JMA “could have been handled with more transparency and consideration.” (She noted that JMA did give her a refund for Ella’s application fee, though.)
“I am upset about the way the situation was handled and the fact that my child was denied admission because of something connected to ME – after I had already completed the entire process, communicated extensively with admissions, visited the school, and financially committed to paying thousands of dollars for her education,” she wrote. “The attitudes and lack of professionalism displayed by the two gentlemen during the meeting were, in my opinion, absolutely disgusting.”
Over the weekend, Pumpkin told TMZ she believes that JMA should have informed her of any issues that it may have had with her NSFW gig prior to moving forward with her daughter’s application. She has also insisted (numerous times) on social media that she isn’t mad that the school chose to deny Ella’s application, but rather the way in which the situation was handled.
“Literally everyone’s missing the point,” she told a fan last week on Facebook. “I’m not mad they denied her. I’m simply ill at the lack of communication provided by that school.”
“Literally my whole point in posting is the fact they have lack of communication!!” Pumpkin responded to another comment on her post.
The 26-year-old launched her sexy-time side hustle back in March, where she– sometimes joined by others, including her boyfriend Darrin Kitchens– posts NSFW photos and videos. Just last week, she revealed that she recently “hit her highest day” on OnlyFans, pulling in between $14,000 and $15,000.
While Pumpkin reserves the steamy (and sometimes “hardcore”) content for her paying OnlyFans subscribers, she regularly posts pics and videos to social media to promote her OnlyFans content. She also uses her public social media pages to promote NSFW events, including the strip club appearances she’s been cashing in on recently.

If something you do is stopping your child getting into a school, then as a decent parent you stop doing it. Plus haven’t you heard all the stories from children about being bullied cause their parent is on only fans.

Just goes to show this backwoods blumpkin did not read the Parent handbook being John Milledge Academy is a private, tuition-based institution, not a public school.
When you apply, you explicitly agree to partner with a school that runs on defined Christian moral guidelines PER THE PARENT HANDBOOK explicitly stating parents must lead by example.
Publicly bragging about an XXX OF account completely eviscerates that agreement before her kid even stepped foot in a classroom.
The school returned her money, which means they completely made her whole and they certainly have the total legal right to protect their campus environment and that of the other students so she lioterally has zero basis for a lawsuit here.

Hottest of takes, she has a point. The school should’ve told her from the get go that her source of income was going to be an issue with the school’s values. They wasted Pumpkin’s time and now her daughter might have to start the school year late while Pumpkin finds her another school. With that said, the issue is for the most part resolved. They refunded her money and unless she can prove additional financial damages due to this issue, I don’t think that there’s any point to pursue a lawsuit.
My child was rejected from a private school after a long admission courtship. It stung and felt like some time was wasted, but we shrugged and moved on.

What kind of communication was she expecting? They apparently did tell her why her daughter wasn’t ultimately accepted. That’s more than they needed to do. They can reject kids without any reason given at all.
