“90 Day Fiance” Star Mohamed Jbali Being Investigated by U.S. Immigration Over Lost Paperwork

“Can someone check to make sure Danielle didn’t recently start working for the U.S. Post Office?”

Mohamed Jbali’s stay in the United States might be up!

Starcasm broke the story that the 90 Day Fiancé star may soon be on a plane back to Tunisia…all because of the United States Postal Service. Mohamed recently posted an Instagram video to explain what happened.

“Since I came to the States three years ago — over three years ago, I used the Post Office services for, like, maybe over 50 times. Over, even, a lot — so many times,” he told his followers. “I never, ever used the insurance when I’m sending something. This time, I was trying to send an application to the Immigration so I can get the condition removed from my green card and get the 10-year green card. Guess what happened? They lost the file!

“I never sent anything with the Post Office and got lost. This time, when I used the insurance — and this was an overnight mail — they lost my application. Now they’ve started an investigation,” Mohamed added.

Fans asked Mohamed what he was going to do next and he replied, “All I can do now is wait until they finish investigating.”

Some fans wondered if Mohamed’s role on TLC’s ‘90 Day Fiancé’ could be to blame for the “lost” documents.

“Wtf!! Someone must have seen the name Mohamed and knew who you were,” one fan posted. “This was done on purpose!! I hope they find it if not get a layer!!”

Another fan asked Mohamed if he thought someone at the Post Office (perhaps an angry ’90 Day Fiance’ fan?) was purposely holding his documents back.

“Maybe because this is not the first time it’s happened to me,” Mohamed replied. “Before when they sent me the first green card and they said it was lost in the mail.”

This statement, of course, contradicted the statement he made just minutes before in which he said that nothing like this had ever happened to him before.

Mohamed is applying to have the conditional status removed from his green card. As the show’s fans know, he received the K-1 Visa when he came to the United States to marry Danielle Mullins. (The pair has been documented their divorce on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?)

Starcasm explained the conditional status a bit more in its post.

“Your permanent residence status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than 2 years old on the day you were given permanent residence,” the site reports. “You are given conditional resident status on the day you are lawfully admitted to the United States on an immigrant visa or adjustment of your status to permanent residence. Your status is conditional, because you must prove that you did not get married to evade the immigration laws of the United States. To remove these conditions, you must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.”

Many people think that if you get divorced within five years that you must return to your home country, but that is not true. According to the immigration laws, “if you…Entered a marriage in good faith, but the marriage ended through divorce or annulment” you may be able to stay.

However, according to Starcasm, Mohamed only has—you guessed it! — 90 days to get this all done or it’s back to Tunisia for him!

This is not the only legal situation Mohamed is involved in. As The Ashley previously reported, he is being sued by Danielle for $12,500 in civil court.

Somewhere in Ohio, Danielle is probably getting quite the chuckle over Mo’s unfortunate post office problem!

  1. It pisses me off that he’s been here for THREE YEARS. It’s fraud! The marriage is a fraud. I hope Trump deports this fool!

  2. I cannot believe your immigration services have not acted already to deport this parasite. What is wrong with your legal system ???? Sincerely yours. A concerned Brit.

  3. I’m very very upset, I am married to US citizen and I started my relationship already in US, never came on K1 visa, we had interview, answers were mutching for 99.9 percent after they interviewing us in different roms, and we got denied. At the time of interview we were living together and do everything together, we were in love and best husband and wife,
It tooked long two years to reapply and get a new interview, at that time we bought our house and had a lot of property together and finally the give us approve!
This Mohamed is lier, and very ugly person, he mistreated the lady, was interacting with other ladies, and said a lot of nonsense. Only on what he is saying every body should understand that he is lying! That’s why I pissed a lot this fellow needs to go back, and his face never needs to be here!
Also he is not honest person and cand do s lot off harm to other innocent people

  4. How do you know when Mohamed is lying? His lips are moving. He told Danielle “I didn’t marry you for the green card. If we get divorced I will go back to my country.” Now he’s trying as hard as he can to stay in this country. If the immigration service has a television they can see that he obviously committed marriage fraud.

  5. This guy should be deported though. He’s a fraud he used that silly woman to get here. The way he acts is also very emblematic of someone who either hates or has no respect for women. I’m referring to the comments he’s made about Danielle having a bad smell, etc. Also the way he acted with other women that confronted him the last time he appeared in the show. I wouldn’t be surprise if he’s also bisexual. I’ve seen people in the U.S. deported for much less, and this disgusting fraud gets to stay and do whatever he pleases while using women in the process. Please deport him.

  6. Sooooooo tired of these 2 idiots! How he’s managed to even stay (and live??) here for over 3 years now and not be deported is beyond me?!? Didn’t really read the entire story here (as I’ve had enough) but hopefully this is the last we see of him. They make a mockery of the INS 90 day K1 process. Clearly we all know he was just using her. TLC needs to move on too for whenever my DVR catches a show with them in it and it shows her in tears and him moaning I just hit the delete button! The only legit couple are the ones that just had a baby. Not the Russian/Czech Mormon couple – but the other Mormon / S. American couple. (Sorry can’t recall any of their names) – They have a real loving relationship and wish them the best. The others are just using each other (from either side) and I just turn it off. Actually Sergi (sp?) and his FL wife are sincere too. But my money is on the couple that know better than to come back on the show again (especially now that we know what pittance they get paid!) Adios Mohamed. TLC let it die please!

  7. I think he as well as some others are abusing this imagration status. And in that case should be deported! And in my opinion he is one of them. I personally don’t care for him or Danielle. She seems slow. If she ever thought he really cared she is nuts it’s obvious he didn’t.

  8. Mohammed is so full of crap and dumb to boot.Everybody with any sense knows you have to send mail registered when dealing with the federal government!

  9. This couple was both so annoying. I can’t stand either one. Mohammed is a useless piece of s***! It was obvious he used her. I hope he gets deported ASAP.
Danielle was so whinny, I wanted to scream at her to shut up

  10. Am I wrong to feel bad for Mohammed and not Danielle. Everyone knew he was using her she tried to get him deported for fraud yet she lied about her criminal record and has stolen money from her family. She also did not care she like 3 of 4 teenage daughters in her home and moves in a random guy halfway across the globe. He deserves his green card after sleeping with Danielle once she really needs to take this L and move on. Danielle looks desperate and pathetic.

  11. His whole story sounds fishy! He contradicted his statement like a dummy! I hope he does get deported. Danielle may be a nut job but he knew what he was doing and used her to the fullest! Sad.

  12. It should be a work visa. I could really give a shit about the rest. He lies about other things, so probably lying about all this too. Get bent, Mo and take your fat dick warmer with ya 🙂

  13. That’s a bunch of bull crap saying somebody saw his name and did it on purpose.. I have mailed stuff before that got lost in the mail so to say that it was plot to do that to him on purpose is a bunch of crap..I am sure there have been a lot of other people that have had things lost in the mail over the years so to say something like that is just stupidity on your part…

  14. GOOD I hope he does get deported. Everyone has known from the beginning he was a liar and only wanted a green card. I dnt care what Danelle has said or done he deserves it. She paid money to get him here and she was in love and thought he was to. She did it in good faith . He used her he cheated on her he don’t belong here and needs to go back. Some girls probably think he is cute and are gonna take his side but it is people like him that need to be deported .

    1. I agree that he absolutely needs to get deported … But Danielle is still in love with him … Stalking him … Obsessed with him! Who cares if she paid to brung him here – that’s neither here nor there. The reality is that Danielle is a whiney whench that needs to get on with her own life and stay out of Mohamed’s because they are long done & over with!
INS has been watching … Trust me! They got to him and will deal with him now!

  15. I think USPS is investigating his lost I-751 packet. I see nothing in his comments that USCIS is investigating him personally. Also, the Starcasm article’s statement of the law is inaccurate. He does not have to leave the US unless and until an immigration judge orders him deported and USICE executes that order. He also remains a lawful permanent resident of the US even if he late-filed his I-751. Only an immigration judge can strip him of his green card, and that has not happened yet and probably will not for many years because the courts are majorly backlogged. But don’t let the facts get in the way of sensationalism, Starcasm!

  16. I believe Mohamed means the post office is investigating the lost paperwork…that’s what the USPS does when they lose something that you’ve purchased insurance on.. Correct me if I’m wrong but nowhere did I read Immigration is investigating him directly. I hope he gets deported though, he was so obviously using Danielle for a life in America.

  17. I don’t like Mohammed but Danielle is crazy as hell! She is a stalker, was in debt and neglected her kids. She use the show for cash just as much as he did for a visa.

    1. Agreed. Danielle is equally (maybe more) disgusting. For me it’s not an either/or thing. I wish they would both be deported.

  18. So even without the annullment he may get deported. See Danielle it may have worked out in your favor without going through the lengthy and costly annullment process

    1. Yes because he came here and applied for a green card by marriage. The marriage has to stay intact for two years. He wouldn’t get “deported” he would have to go back home and reapply for a visa and green card under different circumstances to be able to come back.

  19. He will probably get denied. If you file for a green card via marriage you are put on a probationary status green card if the marriage is less than two years. After two year you are interviews again to make sure the marriage isn’t a sham. With her accusing him of fraud and proof that the marriage didn’t last he will get deported. It’s a good thing she accused him of fraud cause she could of gotten into a lot of trouble too. My husband and I are going through a lot of process and paperwork and interviews (to get him a green card) because of pricks like him. We are in a legit marriage.
