It’s a boy for Flip or Flop star Christina Anstead!
The HGTV reality star and her husband, Wheeler Dealers star Ant Anstead, welcomed a son on Friday in Orange County, California. The couple gave their new son the name Hudson London Anstead.
“Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world,” Christina wrote on Instagram. “Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! Our healthy baby boy was born this morning- 9/6/19 – 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.”
“Welcome to the world! Hudson London Anstead,” Ant wrote on Instagram. “I am in awe! Mummy and baby are simply perfect!”
Baby Hudson was born via a scheduled C-section, a procedure the Christina on the Coast star chose due to past issues with her previous pregnancy with son Brayden.
“I chose to do this because I had an emergency C-section with Brayden and the whole experience and recovery was really hard on me physically and emotionally,” she wrote on Instagram last week. “I really don’t feel comfortable trying to go down that route again. Bray was 8lbs 13oz — after pushing for hours and hours — he was just stuck and his heart rate was dropping. Based on ultrasound measurements we think this is going to be another big boy so this is the direction we’ve decided to take. … One week countdown.”
Baby Hudson joins his brother Brayden and sister Taylor, who are Christina’s children from her marriage to her ‘Flip or Flop’ co-star Tarek El Moussa. Hudson also has half-siblings on Ant’s side, as he has son Archie and daughter Amelie from his first marriage.
Christina posted a photo to Instagram of her kids meeting Hudson in the hospital.
“Perfectly captured candid moment of Tay and Bray meeting baby Hudson yesterday- just a little excited,” Christina wrote in the caption of a family photo.
On Thursday, at a red carpet event for HGTV’s new show A Very Brady Renovation, Christina’s ex, Tarek, expressed his happiness for the couple.
“She’s having the baby tomorrow, so I’m excited for her,” Tarek told Us Weekly. “Tomorrow my children are going to have a new brother. It’s all one big family! They’re actually going to visit the baby tomorrow while I’m filming, and then I’m going to be home and I’m going to get them. But I’m sure I’ll swing by in the next day or so and meet the baby.”

I think Christina is one of those women who try to stay perpetually 17 years old. I didn’t really see it on Flip or Flop, but I definitely did while watching Christina on the Coast. The way she talked about “making out with my hot boyfriend” on the first episode sounded more like a teenager than a grown woman. She also took a picture posing with her elementary school aged daughter in a bikini that I’m sure has gotten into the wrong hands as soon as she posted it. She’s the walking embodiment of the stereotypical LA woman who’s so concerned with her appearance that she never thought it was worth is to cultivate any intelligence or class.
Mom stills looks fresh even after crapping out that kid. What a champion.

That little girl could not look more like her father if she tried. But it’s cute how excited she is.
