Twins and 90 Day Fiancé fixtures Darcey and Stacey Silva are thrilled to finally be getting a spin-off show of their very own. However, not everyone is excited to watch the upcoming summer spin-off— especially not Darcey’s ex Jesse Meester…and a bunch of the “90 Day Fiance” franchise fans!
Entertainment Weekly confirmed on Monday that the twins’ spin-off, called Darcey & Stacey, will debut this summer on TLC and give viewers a closer looks at the Silva twins’ lives and loves.
Appearing alongside Darcey and Stacey will be Darcey’s daughters Aniko and Aspen, as well as the twins’ parents, Mike and Nancy.
As fans of the show may recall, Darcey appeared on Season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with her then-boyfriend Jesse. The couple returned for Season 2 and Darcey returned for Season 3 and Season 4 with a new partner, Tom Brooks. (That relationship has since ended, though.) Both Darcey and Stacey appear together on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk.
“I’m really excited about the news show and very grateful to TLC,” Darcey told EW. “I’ve had a long journey with relationships and now that I’ve finally concluded my Jesse and Tom stories, I am finally excited about what the future holds. I am at a stage in my life where I am happy with my life and I’m staying strong with me and my daughters and family. And I’m so excited to dive deeper into our family life on the new show, past, present and future.”
Speaking of Jesse, he’s not exactly excited to see his ex get a show of her very own. In an Instagram comment left on the official “90 Day Fiance” Instagram page’s post announcing the twins’ show, Jesse gave his thoughts on Darcey being “rewarded” with her own show, despite her “lying and manipulating.”
(Jesse’s comment has since been deleted, but was screenshot by the “90 Day Fiance”-themed Instagram account @tote_the_memes before it was scrubbed.)
“She only had to use, abuse and manipulate five guys to get what she wanted all along from the network,” Jesse wrote. “Ethics, TLC? When lying and manipulating gets rewarded I will speak up. She still owes me money, too, maybe she can finally pay me back now. Been a sugar daddy for her for far too long so she could get help.”
He then tagged Tom and a guy named Michael, whom Darcey dated late last year and into 2020.
As for Darcey’s engaged sister, Stacey, she will introduce fans to her Albanian fiancé, Florian Sukaj, who will be residing in Connecticut while the couple waits to tie the knot within 90 days of his arrival.
“Right now, [Florian] and I are really excited to see what the future holds for us,” she told EW. “I can confirm that his visa has been approved.”
Fortunately, unlike Darcey’s previous love interests, Florian has earned his future sister-in-law’s approval.
“I’ve known Florian for some time now and I’m happy for Stacey,” Darcey said. “All that matters to me is that she’s happy in the end … .”
While some “90 Day Fiance” fans expressed their excitement about the new spin-off in the comment section of the official Instagram announcement on Monday, others were not thrilled that the twins were chosen to have their own show.
“Only people tuning in is to watch the train wrecks unfold while you two middle aged women chase young guys around the world,” one person wrote. “But shame on TLC for exploiting this…”
“Haven’t we suffered enough in 2020?” another commented.
“One pandemic at a time!” another joked.
“Oh hell nooooo,” a person wrote in the comments. “TLC you have stooped to new lows big time pass.”

She needs serious help. She is like a bloated Farrah that lives in a world of delusion. Something like this will put her over the top. Plus no one wants to watch her cry uncontrollably and get so drunk that the botox sweats out of her face for another season. Best make this a short run of webisodes that no one will watch until they have watched everything else on youtube. She is one of those people that really has nothing to offer the world so she emulates other idiotic influencers in a fake it till you make it bid to do nothing and yet have money. Her sister was way more likeable. I feel like she may have been a normal person at some point in her life but really really really lost herself along the way in a blur of booze and one night stands with assistant regional managers that probably got bored with her fake boobs and overly enthusiastic drunken blowjobs and just moved onto the next girl at the bar lol. I am sure the yaaaas queen empowerment morons will somehow push this through because they are like that. TLC should go back to actually teaching people things that are useful in life or at least interesting. Bravo, I am looking at you too. Just sad.
They were both pretty before all that plastic surgery. And I will never not believe that Darcey intentionally buys clothes 2 sizes too small so she can say she’s an N when she’s really a Z. She looks like she stuffed 10 pounds of sand in a 4 pound sack. She needs to cover the girls up, get some clothes that fit, and lay off the plastic surgery and she will look just fine. And she should probably investigate where to get some self-esteem along the way, because all she does is talk about getting a man in her life and how she was totally wronged by the past men (because she doesn’t acknowledge any blame on her part). Then maybe watching would be tolerable.
I would rather watch this than watch a show centered about that perverted hobgoblin Ed. If it was a choice between having to watch Darcey 4 hours a day AND watch all her plastic surgery procedures live and in person or watch Hellmann’s Hair Ed – I’d friggin’ move in with Darcey and watch her.
They both look as fake as Farrah, so many of them are carried away with all this surgery, are they too lazy to care for what they’ve been given naturally?
I think they can all use a good hard look at someone like Danielle Busby.. take care of your natural beauty , It can’t be bought .
Yawn. They have been trying to get their own reality show for years. You can find content on youtube from a decade ago that they filmed trying to get their own show. Back then their husbands were around and it was before all the God-awful plastic surgery.
Not going to lie, I am intrigued by the lips on both of them, if you know what I mean.
