Social Media Stars Set to Fight It Out In the Boxing Ring On New Series ‘Ultimate Social Boxing’

Watch these social media stars fight for followers…literally.

Stars from the social media world will lace up their gloves and hit the ring in Ultimate Social Boxing, a new reality series offering a $1 million prize.

The project, Variety reports, will feature 32 contestants– both male and female– from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms with significant social media followings who will “take their beefs to the ring.”

Contestants will live together in the “Ultimate Social Boxing House,” while also training together and ultimately fighting each other. Before moving into the house, however, contestants must fight to win their spot through a preliminary single-elimination amateur fight.

Only eight men and eight women will get to move into the mansion, where they will go on to compete in “clout” challenges, with one contestant ultimately being eliminated each episode.

The fighters, who will be announced at a later date, will be competing for a $1 million prize and a contract with LiveOne’s Ultimate Social Boxing League, which is set to launch later this year.

LiveOne previously featured social media stars hitting the ring– and each other– through the online franchise Social Gloves, which reportedly brought in more than 10 million livestream views.

“[‘Ultimate Social Boxing’] trades on a proven format that has been successful in both social and athletic mediums,” said Robert Ellin, CEO and chairman of LiveOne and an executive producer for ‘Ultimate Social Boxing.’

“By working with the most influential social media stars in the world, we bring an immediate audience for television and streamers that is supported by LiveOne’s global platform and an unprecedented amount of social engagement that has yet to be seen around a combat sports event.”
