While two more Vanderpump Rules babies are due to arrive this year, Scheana Shay says she and husband Brock Davies aren’t planning to expand their own family anytime soon.
Scheana and Brock welcomed daughter Summer Moon Honey in April 2021 as part of the alleged pregnancy pact between Scheana, Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright and Stassi Schroeder– all of whom gave birth within the first four months of 2021.
Though it doesn’t appear to be the result of a second pregnancy pact, cast member Kristina Kelly is currently expecting her first child, and earlier this week, Stassi–- who was fired from the show shortly before announcing her first pregnancy in 2020–- revealed that she and husband Beau Clark are expecting their second child.
According to Reality Tea, Scheana found out about Stassi’s baby news during an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast this week, and despite the former SURvers no longer being friends, Scheana sent her congratulations to Stassi. (She later congratulated Stassi on Instagram, as well.)
“Oh, wow! I did not know that, congratulations!” Scheana said on the podcast, before revealing that she had actually been informed by Stassi herself that she and Beau were ready for a second child.
“I had a good conversation with her at Pandora [Vanderpump Todd]’s son’s birthday, and I know she said she was ready for baby No. 2– I was like, ‘I am not there at all’– but oh my God, I am so happy for her! I literally just got chills.”
When asked on the podcast if she and Brock were planning to give their daughter a sibling, too, Scheana began to get emotional as she recounted both her labor experience and the miscarriage she had prior to conceiving Summer.
“Here’s where the tears come in because I had a very traumatic labor,” she explained. “I had a miscarriage, [and] there’s a lot of fears around me being a mom again, so I’m so happy for [Stassi], but I’m not there.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Scheana revealed in June 2020 that she had suffered a miscarriage. The tragic news came after Scheana had been very vocal on social media and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ about her decision to freeze her eggs. Scheana announced four months after her miscarriage that she was again expecting, and that her rainbow baby was due in April 2021.
Leading up to and immediately following Summer’s birth, Scheana faced multiple health issues that contributed to her “traumatic labor” experience, including a pre-eclampsia diagnosis that led to HELLP syndrome–- a pregnancy complication that required Scheana to be “monitored closely for elevated liver enzymes and low blood platelets.”
Scheana has also revealed that she was diagnosed with postpartum obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), which caused her to have disturbing thoughts regarding the health and safety of Summer. Scheana said she is now managing her diagnosis with counseling.
Despite the ups and (many) downs of their friendship throughout the years and her own apprehension to get pregnant at the moment, Scheana said she’s genuinely really happy for Stassi and her growing family.
“ … I know she wanted this,” she said. “We don’t have to get along, but in moments like this, we can be genuinely happy for one another.”

Ugh I know the feeling of PPD. It’s terrible. The thoughts I had of harming my children as infants were terrible and I am so happy my family stepped in to make sure I was eating and sleeping. It happened with my first two and then with my third, my oldest was diagnosed with cancer shortly after birthing my 3rd. So I have honestly never had a good time after labor. Kind of traumatizing lol. But I feel for Scheana… she’s still traumatized and needs healing. Good for her for talking about such topics, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows.
So sorry for all you have been through. So happy you got help when you needed it.
Thank you friend. I want another baby but I’m 35 now and had a high risk pregnancy in 2020 and then my son being diagnosed shortly after with stage 2 cancer scares me. I’m afraid to have another and my son relapses. I think I’ll stick to my crazy 3 kiddos lol. Literal PTSD. So crazy.
