‘The Challenge’ Stars Jenna Compono & Zach Nichols Expecting Their Third Child in Three Years

“I plan to get a lot of use out of these shirts!”

Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols are once again expecting a baby!

The Challenge stars announced on Thursday that Jenna is pregnant again, just eight months after giving birth to their second child, Liliana Marie. The couple is also parents to son Anthony, who was born in September 2021.

Jenna and Zach posted a photo to Instagram showing both of their kids, along with a sonogram photo.

“Baby number 3 coming in February!” they captioned the photo.

For those keeping track at home, that means they will have a two-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter when their third child is born. (They did not specify if Baby No. 3 is a boy or a girl.)

The couple has dated on and off since meeting on the “Battle of the Exes 2” season in 2014. Zach last appeared on the “War of the Worlds 2” season in 2019, while Jenna’s last appearance was “Total Madness” in 2020. Jenna and Zach got married in 2021.

Earlier this year, Zach was criticized by fans after he and Jenna went on a podcast together, and Zach made some very insensitive comments about how he leaves most of the parenting tasks to Jenna.

Zach? Insensitive? I find that hard to believe…

“[Motherhood] is one of the hardest jobs in the world and I’m very lucky that I don’t have to wake up at night to do anything,” he said on the podcast. “If [Jenna is] home, I’m not changing poopy diapers, unless like, I’m in a REALLY good mood or there’s two at the same time. If there’s two poopy diapers at the same time, I will do the male poopy diaper because I know the plumbing better.”

“That’s the best part about being a dad: you’re not the mom!” Zach said. “You get to do all the fun stuff, and see all these awesome things but at the same time, everyone’s like, ‘How are the kids doing? Are they sleeping through the night?’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’ I get my sleep every night. I get my five hours, that’s all I need. And it doesn’t get interrupted.”

Jenna revealed that Zach often grabs his pillow and blanket and goes downstairs to continue his sleep, “while I’m dealing with two crying, screaming babies!”

“Dude, I’m the worst,” Zach said while laughing.

After Zach’s comments on the podcast caused some commotion, Jenna quickly defended her husband.

“All these people saying, ‘Oh my husband does this blah blah,’” she wrote. “Well Zach cleans toilets, floors, bathrooms etc. multiple times a week [do] their husbands do that?”

In another reply, Jenna noted that Zach works full time and she is a stay-at-home mom.

During that same podcast— which was recorded in May— Jenna said she was ready to start trying for their third child. Zach said that he is disappointed because Jenna usually gets pregnant right away and they don’t get to keep “trying” to make a baby.

Jenna and Zach got lots of well wishes from their ‘Challenge’ co-stars.

“Poppin them out like it’s nothin!” wrote Kailah Casillas.

“3 under 3. Good God. Congrats,” wrote Kyle Christie.

“#SquadGoals,” wrote Kaycee Clark. “Congratulations to your beautiful family!”

It’s unknown if this will be the last child for Jenna and Zach; however, Jenna has stated in the past that she would like to have seven kids.

  1. A misogynist husband, what a catch 😂😂😂 this woman is planning to pop out more children than Michelle Duggar. Good luck, girl. You’re going to need it.

  2. Wasn’t he also a dick to her while they were dating (and I think they broke up too for some time?) I remember him being an asshole to his exes so no, it’s not just here. I’m sure this guy just like in his The Real World season thinks he is all that. While he is not.

  3. I remember all the posts on here crying about how Zach is a misogynist and she has to do all the child care.. did it ever occur to any of you some women actually want to raise their kids and take care of their families?

    1. There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with wanting to be a stay at home mom (or dad even), or wanting to do as much of the child rearing as you possibly can.

That has nothing to do with him being a misogynistic pig and telling the entire world how terrible he is at being a parent and how much work he forces on her because he can’t be assed to do it. He’s a lazy sob who just wants the “fun” parts of being a parent and lets her do all of the rest (forces her really, if he’s not going to do it, someone has to).

If you have a partner in life, married or not, and you’re raising a family, there is nothing wrong with one person doing more of the child rearing than the other. There IS something wrong with one person expecting or forcing it. There is also something wrong with that person literally telling the world how much they suck at being a life partner, and parent. That’s why he gets so much flack. Regardless of what she says, he’s a pig that needs to grow the hell up and step up like the adult he is. He also needs a swift kick to the nutsack and a slap across the back of his head from her for bragging (he’s proud of his attitude) about his shitty take on parenting.

  4. I couldn’t imagine having 3 this close together. Their children are beautiful and Jenna seems like a great mom. Zach still seems like a misogynistic prick. I can totally see him wanting Jenna barefoot and pregnant, taking care of all the kids (him being the biggest child of them all), cooking all the meals, cleaning the house etc. While Zach sits on his ass and watches.
