From yelling at fans for being nosy, to getting their noses pierced, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! Cory Wharton Gives Update on His Relationship with Taylor Selfridge & Reveals They Still Live Together
Cory is fighting back against nay-sayers’ comments accusing him of giving more attention to his oldest daughter Ryder (whom he shares with Cheyenne Floyd) than the two daughters he has with his ex(?) Taylor Selfridge.
An angry Cory hit Snapchat on Wednesday to not only dispel that rumor but also give an update on his relationship status with Taylor. Back in May, Cory seemed to confirm that he and Taylor were having problems, going on a rant about how he didn’t cheat on Taylor and that everyone telling him to propose was not helping the situation. Since then, Cory and Taylor have hinted that they were no longer together, but neither has actually confirmed the split. (Taylor has, though, posted plenty of cryptic videos to TikTok about breakups and whatnot.)

On Snapchat this week, Cory addressed the rumors that he spends more time with Ryder than Mila and Maya…while also revealing that he and Taylor are still shacking up together despite their issues.
“Just because you guys don’t see me posting— and you probably do see me posting— like, I live with the other two [daughters], I see them every day,” he said angrily. “Uh-oh, surprise, me and Taylor still live together. Ohhhh! You should be able to tell from the Snaps. Just because I’m not in the content doesn’t mean I’m not around.
“I’ve said this many times: me and Taylor are dealing with what we’re dealing with, outside of you guys,” he continued. “Perfectly normal. I don’t want everybody else to put their little 2 cents on my relationship. It’s very normal, people, OK? Right now my social media’s about me, my little ones, working out, trying to be goofy and my life.
“But I said, that’s the one aspect of my life that I will open up when the timing is right. When I feel like, OK, now we can talk about it.”
Cory’s comments were apparently spurred by a comment left on his Snapchat from someone who stated that he’s more-involved with Ryder and leaves the parenting of his other daughters to Taylor.
“We always see Taylor do everything, including drop off and pickup for school,” the person wrote.
Cory insisted that he drops his kids off and picks them up from school, although Taylor does more of those.
“If she was ever like, ‘Cory do you want to do the drop-offs today?’ I would always say yes. It is never a problem,” he said.

Kail Lowry Begs Her Baby Daddies to “Get Along” With Her
While flaunting her freshly chiseled chin on social media earlier this week, Kail took a moment to address another thing she’d like to improve in her life: the co-parenting situation with her four baby daddies.
Kail issued a statement to the cornucopia of men who are her seven kids’ fathers, begging them for a truce.
“ … all my kids’ fathers, if you are not my kids’ fathers, please swipe past this,” Kail stated on Instagram. “I’m tired. If we could all just get along, I don’t give a f**k if y’all wanna be besties, that’s fine … get along with me, I get along with you, okay?”
Kail went on to confirm that her message was directed at “all four” of her children’s fathers, before amending her statement to note that her former fiancé Elijah Scott– the father of her three youngest children, Rio, Verse and Valley– is “unproblematic,” and that she and Jo Rivera– the father of her eldest son, Elliott, do not speak to one another.
Kail also shares son Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin and sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez, both of whom Kail has very tumultuous relationships with.
“This [message] is for Javi and Chris,” she clarified. “Please, for the love of God. For. The. Love. Of. God. I just wanna get along.”
As The Ashley previously told you, Kail and Javi were seemingly on decent terms earlier this year, though things drastically changed in June when Javi took to Instagram Live to completely unleash on Kail, making it very clear that their temporary truce was off. Meanwhile, she and Chris have continued to have a toxic co-parenting relationship.
Because of this, Kail told fans on Instagram Live that she was “probably blocked” by Javi and Chris on social media, though she said her message would likely still get to them. Kail said she was also confident that things would improve with both Javi and Chris within the next year, despite where things are currently.
“ … I’m confident [that in] 2026– we’re at the end of 2025 now– 2026 is gonna be the year of healing,” she predicted. “It’s gonna be the year of growing, it’s gonna be the year of getting along with all the kids’ dads.”
Shortly after Kail’s posted her Rodney King-esque “Can’t we all just get along?” speech, Chris posted a message to social media and tagged Javi.
“Nobody had anything to say when we didn’t get along,” he wrote. “Now we are best friends because we know how to put our differences aside @Javim9.”

Briana DeJesus Defends Allowing Her Daughter Nova to Get Her Nose Pierced for Her 14th Birthday
Briana is responding to some backlash she recently received after allowing her daughter, Nova, to get her nose pierced in honor of her 14th birthday.
Briana—who got her own nose pierced alongside Nova— brought the teen to a piercing shop, with her sister Brittany, brother-in-law Stephen and mom Roxanne in tow for the momentous occasion. Briana shared several videos to Snapchat of Nova getting her nose pierced, which resulted in some negative feedback from fans who felt Nova was too young to have the piercing.
Briana, in turn, defended her decision to allow Nova to get what she wanted.
“My girl is such a good girl and she’s nothing like me or like any of these teens that I hear about,” Briana responded in the comment section to someone. “I want her to be able to express herself and feels confident! She’s a straight A student taking high school courses and she’s such [a] sweet baby!”
Briana— who shares Nova with her ex Devoin Austin— pointed out that Nova is not a troublemaker and deserved to get the piercing.
“It’s just a piercing and it’s not permanent,” Bri wrote. “She’s been wanting this for a long time and I was hesitant at first but I thought about it and felt like I wasn’t really hearing her and decided it would be ok! Nova is such a blessing and she deserves whatever she wants as long as she keeps up her grades and stays out of trouble. A piercing isn’t going to change her.”
In another video posted to Snapchat, Briana defended her decision further.
“A lot of you guys are saying that Nova’s too young to get like a nose piercing, but it’s like, it’s literally just a piercing, you know, it’s not like it’s a tattoo, it’s not like she’s changing something on her body,” she said. “She literally just, is just getting a piercing. It’s really not that big of a deal, guys.”
This is not the first time a ‘Teen Mom’ star has come under fire for allowing her teen daughter to get pierced. Back in 2023, Farrah Abraham got slammed online for allowing her daughter Sophia to get six new piercings at once– including snake bite lower lip piercings– for her 14th birthday. For her 13th birthday, Sophia was allowed to get her septum pierced. (Sophia, who is now 16 years old, also has her tongue pierced and two dermal piercings in her lower back.)

In an interview last year, Farrah defended her decision to allow Sophia to get so many facial piercings.
“I learned so much about consent culture and leading with that and allowing someone to have their will, their rights, their freedoms,” Farrah said. “And I think that’s just very important on maybe the littlest things, like a piercings or tattoos.”

Vee Torres Says Her New Solo Podcast Marks the End of Her “People Pleasing” Days
This week, Vee Torres– the former co-host of Kails Baby Mamas No Drama podcast and wife of Kail’s first baby daddy Jo– made her return to podcasting with The Chisme Corner with Vee Rivera, a show where the 33-year-old says she does not have to apologize for how she feels or what she says.
“ … I think I’ve always been such a people-pleaser,” she told People this week. “Being in the public eye, I think you sometimes have to take a step back and reevaluate the things you say. You don’t want the people to take things the wrong way, but I think I’m at a point in my life where I’m like, ‘f**k it.’ I just want to say the things that I want to say and how I feel and not have to worry about anybody else.
“I can’t constantly try and mute how I feel and not be me,” she added.
As you may remember, Vee and Kail confirmed in October that their joint podcast was ending after four years. Kail went on to (almost immediately) launch the Karma & Chaos podcast with co-host Becky Hayter after ending ‘BMDN,’ while Vee didn’t reveal the news of her solo podcast until late August. (Who could forget these cringe-tastic promo pics?)
Last month, Vee explained that “chisme”– or gossip– has always been a part of her culture, although she believes it’s something that’s also “universal.”
“We all lean on conversations to process life, to laugh, to cry and to connect,” she said. “For Latinos and Latinas especially, I hope it feels like home. I want people to know this is our corner, our voice and our stories told in our own way.”
Vee acknowledged this week that while there may be critics of her new venture, she’s confident in herself, as well as the content she’s creating.
“There’s going to be people that love it and there’s going to be people that hate it,” she said. “It is what it is. My audience knows me and they know my personality. They ride with me through everything so there’s no other place that I feel more comfortable being me. It’s nice that I don’t have to live a double life and try to pretend to be something that I’m not. Whether it’s online or on the podcast, what you see is what you get.”

I’m confused are Cory and Taylor actually broken up? Or are they broken up, but still living together and coparenting?
idk why but I think it’s hilarious that Wharton uses snapchat as his fave social media.
Also Kail is just shameless, you’re the common denominator girl. And a hypocrite for blasting them publicly but then pulling this stunt. Really childish to think that addressing her kid’s fathers like this would elicit a good response instead of privately handling the matter. Ugh lol I’m getting so annoyed thinking about her MO since she was a teenager, she can’t handle other people’s point of views then gets hostiles and shuts down when it is addressed. I’ve seen her handle it like that with like everyone she’s been taped with.
She treats her photo props as best friends not as her daughters!!! They are children!!! It won’t be long until one of them gets pregnant
I have never understood why anyone cares about another person getting a piercing once they are over the age of 12…
I think tongue and the septum no one should do (septum piercings automatically make me think of Bulls and I have legit never seen a girl I thought would be cuter with it than without but whatever) and I think as a mom, it’s the only two I’d advise my kids against but ears, side of nose, dermal etcetera… if you are old enough to have good hygiene, I think it’s fine. Who cares?! And Jesus, I was really hoping Taylor would come to the realization that she is so much better off without Cory and she’d finally cut ties but I’m sad to hear she’s still cohabitating with him. SMH. Also, why in God’s name can’t Kail just have a conversation with Chris or Javi on the phone or better yet, in person, about their issues and how she wants to get along? Every single thing has to be on social media and I just feel like if she made more of an effort and did it in a way that was less attention seeking, it might work out. SMH
I’m glad those women who got those septum piercings aren’t concerned about some stranger’s opinion on their level of attractiveness. I just think they are kind of baddies because they probably get crap all the time from the type of men who feel the need to made comments and their body choices, and it’s women too.

When you have 7 kids by multiple fathers….things aren’t going to be pleasant. And although she takes excellent care of her kids, having babies with everyone you date isn’t exactly the best example to be setting.

Last I heard she communicated with Javi via email. Im not sure if she has a parenting app or something similar with Chris. Considering she’s already been to family court for assault, it’s likely.

I don’t get the big deal either. How many people who allowed their child to pierce their ears are out here having a fit about this? It’s wild. I wouldn’t want my nose pierced. And I probably wouldn’t let my daughter do it til she was old enough to not need my ok. But someone else letting their daughter do it? I couldn’t give a literal 💩.
Nova truly has the best physical features from both of her parents.
Gorgeous young lady and seems to have a better head on her shoulders than either of her parents. She probably learned from witnessing her mom what the consequences are if not careful around boys and men.
Kail chose to have SEVEN kids with FOUR baby daddies. She literally signed up for the absolute messiest life possible. I hope the adults can get along for the sake of the kids, but it’s always going to be some kind of shit show
