Jenelle Evans‘ kids received no presents from their assorted fathers on Christmas, and the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star was not happy about it, nor was she thrilled when her fans began to point the finger of blame at her for choosing such degenerates to father her children.
Jenelle aired her grievance (where else?) on social media but her rant did not get the sympathy she had seemingly hoped for, with numerous people responding to her rant by reminding her that she is the one who chose to let the bottom-of-the-barrel men impregnate her.
“Another Christmas, another year no baby daddies buy their kids any gifts,” Jenelle posted woefully on Christmas Day.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans are aware, Jenelle has three kids: Jace (whose father is Andrew Lewis, whom Jace recently reunited with in North Carolina); Kaiser (whose dad is the currently imprisoned Nathan Griffith); and Ensley (whose dad is Jenelle’s swamp-dwelling ex-husband David Eason, who hasn’t seen Ensley in nearly two years).
Jenelle’s followers dragged Jenelle in the comment section of her posts on X and Facebook for having a cornucopia of baby daddii, all of whom she chose to breed with.
“Hear me out…what if…’baby daddies’ wasn’t a plural term you have to use? WHAT IF!!!! You have, A FATHER TO YOUR CHILDREN instead…wonder how things would be different?” one person wrote.
“Thank yourself for thinking these men would make great fathers,” someone wrote.
Others pointed out that there are other factors in play as to why the fathers may not have sent gifts to their kids.
“1) Did [Andrew] ever show promise? 2) Isn’t [Nathan] in jail? I don’t think they take shopping trips there. 3) Don’t you have a restraining order on [David]?” someone commented.
“That’s what happens when you pick loser ass men that match your energy,” a person replied to Jenelle on X. “Good women can easily find good men. Sounds like you set all your kids up for failure which to be fair is all you really know.”
Jenelle was not happy that she received backlash instead of sympathy. On Friday, she took to X to respond to the criticism she received.
“How is that an excuse for any man to be a s**tty dad?” Jenelle responded to someone who reminded her that she “picked” the men who fathered her kids.
“Decent men are decent dads,” someone else replied. “Ya pick s**ty men to bed, they’ll be s**tty dads.”
“Let me get my scanner out to see if they are ‘decent men’ you can’t just look at someone and ‘pick them’ because they seem good,” Jenelle replied.
“I knew someone for 7 years and once I met them they were complete s**t. I’m convinced you’ll never ‘get to know’ someone,” Jenelle added.
(The Ashley believes Jenelle is talking about her most-recent soulmate-gone-bad, “August Keen” here, by the way. Luckily, she and “August” did not spawn during their year-plus relationship.)
We can assume that Jenelle’s post was only aimed at Nathan and David, as her eldest son Jace no longer lives with her. He is currently living in North Carolina with Jenelle’s mother Barbara, and has a relationship with his father, Andrew, now.
Nathan has been in prison since May, when he pleaded guilty to a charge of “Battery Constituting Domestic Violence- Strangulation” as part of plea agreement. (That charge— which is a felony— stems from Nathan’s arrest in April for strangling his then-girlfriend Anastasia Biddle.) He is currently in a medium-security prison in Nevada and does not become eligible for parole until at least July 16, 2026.
As for David, he has not seen Ensley since February 2024, when he and Jenelle split. Shortly after that, Jenelle took Ensley and moved to Las Vegas, where she currently resides. According to Jenelle (and David’s ex Kenleigh Heatwole), David has only made a few calls to Ensley in the nearly two years he’s been apart from her. David and Jenelle are expected to start their custody battle for their daughter next month in court.
As The Ashley has previously reported, Jenelle wants full custody of Ensley, with David only getting visitation with his daughter after he takes a court-ordered psychological evaluation. (Based on court records obtained by The Ashley, it does not appear that David has done so yet.)

I’m going to play devils advocate here. Is Jenelle a bad parent, yes. Is Jenelle an adult, yes.
However, her dad left her. That set her up to choose bad men. Do all women do this? Of course not. Everyone is different though. I don’t think Jenelle believes she deserves love. I also believed Jenelle when she was hysterically talking and crying about Barb not “loving her.” Obviously Barb does and she definitely tried, but all Barb does is scream. She screams at Jace and she screamed at Jenelle. I don’t think Barb knew any other way. It’s probably how she was raised herself. It’s not always easy to just drop pain and the things that have happened to you. Jenelle should have been put into intensive therapy as a child. This is just my experience as it happened to me. I wasn’t like Jenelle as a bad parent or person, but I had issues with men and love.
Ensley looks JUST like her. Poor girl. (And with crappy parents too) And Kaiser is still adorable, unfortunately also mini-Nathan. How is Doris doing? I bet she is in age when she can’t take care of Kaiser anymore considering her age but I would love for her to be able to see her grandson more often.
Years from now, Ensley and Kaiser will be talking to each other going “Man, our parents were REALLY crap, weren’t they?” I wonder who will be the first to denounce them.
Wasn’t Janelle in the process of aborting Courtlands baby while actively trying to get pregnant with Nathan? This girl gives no thought whatsoever regarding raising/loving a child, it’s all about her and the D. It’s no surprise she takes no accountability for her choices and choosing dead beats. She will be like this her entire life. I just feel sorry for the kids.
Exactly. She and Nathan were in a restaurant and decided “hey, let’s have a baby” while filming for the show. The world was like, “NOOOOOO!” Barb just about died when they told her their plan. Dumbasses.
And it’s even more baffling when Janellle criticizes others when there is a reality documentary show of her acting like an unhinged jackass for over a decade. Clips of her screaming, fighting, drugging it up, neglecting and abusing her kids and anim, pissing her money away are online…Forever. Any sane person would go off grid.

Or, you know…don’t sleep with them until you REALLY know them (and if you need to, at least use protection!) I have a faint memory that she wasn’t together for long with Nathan before he knocked her up.

I guess her and I have wildly different outlooks on parenting. I was over the moon when my son’s deadbeat “father” decided to stay away for good. No child needs to have a messy/abusive/crazy/shifty father over an absent one. She should really be thankful they got away from their dads.

I can just imagine her going “I want my tubes untied!” and crying online how she wants another baby. Please don’t.
Unfortunately there is the option of IVF if one’s tubes are tied as Mackenzie did. But not to compare Mac to Janelle. Mac isn’t perfect, but she’s waaaay better than Janelle and seems to have chosen well for a partner the second time around.
Only the worst of the worst get with Janelle. If Janelle thinks going through IVF for another kid will keep whatever low-life she’s with around, she’d do it. Then she’ll do a piss poor job parenting the poor kid.
That’s a horrible scenario and let’s hope that never happens. But this is Janelle, who thought it would be a good idea to have Nathan impregnate her right after meeting her. Then when she had a positive pregnancy test, she wasn’t sure if it was Nathan’s or the remnants from the abortion she just had with Courtland’s spawn. And it was captured by MTV cameras for Kaiser to watch. She hasn’t matured at all since that time and continues to come up with stupid ideas.
