Ex-Girlfriend of ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Calls Police to Help Her Get Her Stuff from His House After Their Breakup

“Thankfully no one got dragged by a car during this breakup! I’ve come a long way!”

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro‘s secret years-long relationship with a girl named Kristen is over— and, as per usual with relationships involving the Jersey Shore star, cops were needed to help sort things out after their split. However, it appears that Ronnie has come a long way since his mattress-throwing breakups of yesteryear.

TMZ broke the news on Wednesday that Ronnie’s (now ex) girlfriend Kristen called and asked for the police’s assistance in getting her belongings out of Ronnie’s Miami home following their breakup. Kristen— who was never mentioned on Jersey Shore Family Vacation— stated that she had been with Ronnie for three years and had been living with him “together as a family unit.” (Ronnie has primary custody of his eight-year-old daughter Ariana, whose mom is Ronnie’s ex Jenn Harley.)

The call to police— which was labeled as a “domestic dispute”— was placed by Kristen on March 29. Kristen allegedly told them that she was breaking up with Ronnie due to “infidelity issues.” She asked that officers accompany her inside the house so she could grab some of her belongings, which they did. According to TMZ, Ronnie was informed that the cops were only there to “keep the peace” and he allowed Kristen to get some stuff without incident.

That face you make when you are FINALLY able to have a breakup without throwing anyone’s mattress…

They mutually agreed that Kristen could return to the house with a moving truck on April 1 to fetch the rest of her belongings.

As fans are aware, Ronnie has had incredibly dramatic (and oftentimes violent) breakups in the past with many of his exes, including his  ‘Jersey Shore’ co-star Sammi Giancola. His many breakups with his baby mama Jenn Harley were also epically dramatic, with Ronnie being arrested in 2019 for assaulting Jenn. (Ronnie ultimately accepted a plea deal in May 2020, which kept him from doing any time behind bars.) Before that, though, Jenn had been arrested for assaulting Ronnie several times, including once for allegedly hitting and dragging Ronnie with her car.

(Surprisingly, though, things between the co-parents have improved in recent years. In 2024, Jenn stated that the relationship between her and Ronnie was “better than ever.”

“Bet you never saw that update coming, did you?”

Ronnie’s breakup with his former fiancé Saffire Matos in 2022 was also a dramatic disaster

However, in recent years, Ronnie has gotten sober and seems to be able to handle breakups better, judging by the statement released by his rep to TMZ on Wednesday.

“He was in the process of separating from his long-term girlfriend, and it was at his request for her to call the police to ensure that the separation/moving out was peaceful, and because he’s been the recipient of falsehoods in the past, and is in a really good place and didn’t want there to be any unnecessary drama.”

Ronnie is set to appear on ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ when the show returns to MTV on May 7.

  1. Ronnie is going to kill somebody one day of everything he does continues to get swept under the rug.

  2. Saying that your relationship is “better than ever” isn’t really saying a whole lot when your previous fights involved one of you hitting and dragging the other one with your car!!! Seriously, Jenn. Get a grip.

    1. I have a feeling both of them are more likable when they aren’t on substances and not in a relationship with them.

  3. So he cheated on her and became agitated when she wanted to move out? That’s not “coming a long way”, that’s literally the same Ronnie 😂

  4. “infidelity issues”, huh?

Happy he isn’t beating anyone up or getting dragged by moving cars, but some things truly never change.
