Sarper Güven claims his recently discovered (and allegedly now deleted) dating app profiles were created in “retaliation” against his wife Shekinah Garner, with the 90 Day Fiancé star insisting that he and Shekinah are no longer “married in mind or heart anymore.”
As fans of “90 Day Fiancé” know, Shekinah and Sarper met on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and went on to tie the knot during Season 11 of “90 Day Fiancé.” The pair have had many ups and downs throughout their relationship– largely due to Sarper’s former womanizer lifestyle– and have battled communication and trust issues, with some of their fights even getting physical on-camera.
While Shekinah and Sarper are appearing on the current season of 90 Day: The Last Resort, the pair publicly announced their split in November.

On Monday, the Instagram account @90dayfianceupdate posted screenshots of what appeared to be Sarper’s dating profile on both Bumble and Tinder, where the TLC star– who remains legally married at this time– described himself as “a comedian traveling all over [the] U.S. and Canada” who is looking for a “short-term” relationship, but is “open” to something longterm.
While a few skeptics in the comment section questioned the validity of the screenshots, @90dayfianceupdate went on to post comments from Sarper not only confirming that the dating profiles were his, but also explaining his motive for creating them in the first place.
In a comment, Sarper explained that he joined the dating apps after Shekinah called him out on her Instagram Story this week for going “lower than low” by allegedly accusing her of being “uneducated and below his level,” “mentally broken,” using “typical narcissistic isolation” tactics against her and “hitting where it hurts the most” by driving a wedge between her and her family.
“You’ll be sending photos of you crying to get me back in a week @sarper90day,” Shekinah added, before going on to seemingly confirm that she’s officially ready to move on from her relationship.
“Ready to be someone’s prize… I have had a man calling me his ‘punishment’ for over four years now,” Shekinah wrote. “That takes a toll on self worth…”
In a comment to @90dayfianceupdate, Sarper claimed that he “opened” his accounts on the dating apps “the moment [Shekinah] posted that she is ready to be someone’s prize.”
“ … I don’t wanna talk about this or go dirty but we are not married in mind or heart anymore just on paper ( a lil bit more ) so leave me alone,” Sarper wrote.
Despite insisting that his marriage to Shekinah is virtually over at this point, Sarper revealed that he had deleted his profile off of the apps and vowed not to hit the dating app scene again until he and Shekinah are “officially separated.”
“ … when seeing this here from 3rd point of view, [to be honest] I felt bad … even [if] everything is [f**ked] up, till officially separated I shouldn’t do such a thing even for a retaliation,” he wrote. “ … it’s disrespectful to our past and to myself … I closed it … .”
On Tuesday, Shekinah returned to Instagram with a carousel of photos and a pointed caption seemingly aimed at Sarper.
“Disliking me is valid,” she wrote. “I probably confronted you on your poor behavior while everyone else just accepted it.”
While fans can watch Sarper and Shekinah on the currently airing season of “90 Day: The Last Resort,” Shekinah revealed Tuesday on social media that she isn’t planning to return to the TLC franchise in the future.
“ … I don’t think I’ll make any more memories filming in the future for ’90 Day’ because I feel like this chapter is closing for me,” she stated on her Instagram Story. “I’m going to move on with my life and I don’t want this to define me, it doesn’t define me. And for all the people that have, you know, ’90 Day’ in their freaking handle on social media, like, eww. I’m so sorry for you.”
Shekinah went on to tell fans that she isn’t planning to return to her relationship with Sarper either, claiming that she’s given him “so many chances” to change, only to be met with broken promises and failed attempts to revive “what once was.”
“ … for the most part, I just don’t think it’s possible [to reconcile],” she said. “I think that people can say that they’ve changed, but as far as maintaining change longterm or it being sustainable, that’s another thing … I’ve experienced throughout my life a lot of men saying they’re going to change, I give them more time, let them back into my life, only to find out the change that they make is short-lived and we’re back to square one with the same patterns repeating themselves.
“So, am I willing to do that anymore at this age? No, I’m not,” Shekinah continued. “No matter how much I love someone, I love myself more at the end of the day and I’m setting an example for my daughter … .”
New episodes of “90 Day: The Last Resort” air Mondays on TLC.
