Unexpected Season 7 stars Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson are back together, less than a month after 16-year-old Bella confirmed that she and her 14-year-old baby daddy had called it quits.
On Monday, Bella hard-launched her rekindled relationship with Hunter on Snapchat by posting a photo of Hunter and the couple’s one-year-old son Wes during an outing at Topgolf, following by a photo of herself and Hunter (nearly) kissing, along with the text, “we back [baby].”
In addition to Hunter making his return to Bella’s social media posts, his name has returned to Bella’s TikTok bio after being removed in May following the couple’s split. Bella further confirmed her and Hunter’s updated relationship status by liking multiple comments from fans on TikTok questioning if the teens were back together.
Interestingly, Bella and Hunter’s reunion comes less than a week after Bella posted (and reposted) a series of photos and videos to TikTok seemingly shading both Hunter and the girl Bella claimed that Hunter began “talking to” just two days after they broke up.
As you may remember, shortly before Bella’s mom, Falen Vaughn, hinted at Bella and Hunter’s breakup last month on TikTok, the high schoolers announced on social media that they were engaged to be married. (It’s unknown if Hunter and Bella’s engagement is back on at this time.)
Even before announcing their engagement in May, the couple– who conceived their son when Bella was 14 and Hunter was only 12– had arguably caused more controversy than any other couple on the TLC reality show. From multiple pending court cases between their parents, to frequent conversations on the show about everything from anal sex to showering together, both Hunter and Bella (and their parents) have received a large amount of online hate for their actions.
During Bella and Hunter’s (brief) time apart, Falen– who was arrested in April for disorderly conduct following an incident at Hunter’s dad and stepmom’s home– shared with fans that Bella was “focusing on herself and her son and her education” and that she recently found out Bella will be able to graduate from high school a year earlier than expected.
“She’s fine, she’s strong, she’s a very strong-willed woman and she’s doing what’s best for her and her son,” Falen assured fans.
While Bella and Hunter have since rekindled their relationship, the family drama continues for the teen parents. As you know, Hunter’s parents are currently engaged in a custody battle for him and there’s a custody battle underway for Wes.
Hunter’s dad, Casey Johnson, was recently granted full custody of Hunter and the judge proceeded to seal the case from the public; however, a decision has not been made in the custody battle for Wes.

We all know that this is about to be years of them being on-again-off-again, finding new partners and talking a ton of shit during the break-ups, and then forgetting it all when they get back together. They’ll have at least one more kid together, probably around the time Hunter turns seventeen/eighteen. It will keep on until she gets pregnant by somebody else (if he gets somebody else pregnant, I don’t see that being a deal breaker for Bella).
The best thing for both of them and Wes would be for both to stay single and focus on that baby and their educations until they’re grown.
I mean, I want to say I’m surprised, but I’m not. I predict that they’ll break up another handful of times and will get back together just as many times before they get a little bit older and he finds another girl willing to give it up to him on demand- including in the backdoor. I’m willing to bet that Falen is praying Bella will get pregnant again and she’s probably already telling her to trap him before he breaks up with her again.

Weird for Falen to say Bella will be able to graduate a year earlier already when she’s definitely been struggling academically for quite a while and isn’t even on track to graduate on time right now. I think what she really means is that bella doesn’t intend to graduate at all, but will leave school a year earlier.
Her “grades” only look good on paper to some because she has a LOT of modifications and accommodations. She is not on a typical education track, at all. If she “graduates” early and even attempts community college courses, she’s going to be very disappointed when they don’t give her the same… forget anything beyond that. Staying in high school until she should graduate, finding herself a decent starter job and taking care of Wes should be ALL she is concerned with. But, no her uneducated immaturity will win out every time because she is surrounded by other uneducated, immature morons(who are adults).
As someone who grew up with an enmeshed narcissistic mother I see a lot of these signs with Felon. My heart goes out to Bella, her mom set her up for isolation and is definitely attracted to her boyfriend who she will probably sleep with once he is of age. I don’t think she is dumb enough to do it now. Someday Bella will need therapy and the way some people have also blamed HER, a child, who is blindly trusting her mom (because you’re supposed to) is sad. I hope someday soon she sees it because it took me so long to realize it about my own mother

He’s a 14 year old boy. Most of them aren’t very bright. (And those that are don’t usually end up on a TLC reality show for impregnating someone before they’re officially a teen)
