Unexpected Season 7 stars Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson are back together, less than a month after 16-year-old Bella confirmed that she and her 14-year-old baby daddy had called it quits. 

On Monday, Bella hard-launched her rekindled relationship with Hunter on Snapchat by posting a photo of Hunter and the couple’s one-year-old son Wes during an outing at Topgolf, following by a photo of herself and Hunter (nearly) kissing, along with the text, “we back [baby].”  

In addition to Hunter making his return to Bella’s social media posts, his name has returned to Bella’s TikTok bio after being removed in May following the couple’s split. Bella further confirmed her and Hunter’s updated relationship status by liking multiple comments from fans on TikTok questioning if the teens were back together. 

Interestingly, Bella and Hunter’s reunion comes less than a week after Bella posted (and reposted) a series of photos and videos to TikTok seemingly shading both Hunter and the girl Bella claimed that Hunter began “talking to” just two days after they broke up. 

As you may remember, shortly before Bella’s mom, Falen Vaughn, hinted at Bella and Hunter’s breakup last month on TikTok, the high schoolers announced on social media that they were engaged to be married. (It’s unknown if Hunter and Bella’s engagement is back on at this time.)  

Even before announcing their engagement in May, the couple– who conceived their son when Bella was 14 and Hunter was only 12– had arguably caused more controversy than any other couple on the TLC reality show. From multiple pending court cases between their parents, to frequent conversations on the show about everything from anal sex to showering together, both Hunter and Bella (and their parents) have received a large amount of online hate for their actions.   

During Bella and Hunter’s (brief) time apart, Falen– who was arrested in April for disorderly conduct following an incident at Hunter’s dad and stepmom’s home– shared with fans that Bella was “focusing on herself and her son and her education” and that she recently found out Bella will be able to graduate from high school a year earlier than expected.  

“She’s fine, she’s strong, she’s a very strong-willed woman and she’s doing what’s best for her and her son,” Falen assured fans. 

While Bella and Hunter have since rekindled their relationship, the family drama continues for the teen parents. As you know, Hunter’s parents are currently engaged in a custody battle for him and there’s a custody battle underway for Wes.

Hunter’s dad, Casey Johnson, was recently granted full custody of Hunter and the judge proceeded to seal the case from the public; however, a decision has not been made in the custody battle for Wes.
