Lindsie Chrisley is back on her podcast after a months-long hiatus following her DUI arrest— and her first order of business appears to be clapping back at her sister Savannah!
On Wednesday, Lindsie released the first episode of her freshly rebranded Southern Tea Podcast— a rebrand she insisted was in the works long before she got thrown in the clink for drunk driving, evading police and more back in May. During the first episode of the “rebranded” podcast, Lindsie came hard for Savannah, who had inserted herself into a discussion about Lindsie’s former assistant Kristen Hook a few weeks ago.
In case you missed it, Lindsie and her Coffee Convos podcast co-host Kail Lowry revealed the real reason their longtime assistant/friend Kristen suddenly left the show in December. Kail claimed she discovered that Kristen “was working with Lindsie’s parents.” (As fans know, Lindsie is estranged from her dad Todd Chrisley, stepmom Julie and her siblings.)
According to Kail, Kristen’s email correspondence with Todd and Julie was happening behind her and Lindsie’s backs– and during work hours— and when they asked Kristen about it, she resigned.
The same day that episode dropped, Savannah responded to a clip of the conversation posted to Instagram, denying Lindsie and Kail’s claims and basically insinuating that they were making a big deal out of something small.
Savannah took to the comments to “set the record straight,” claiming that the email referenced on Coffee Convos was one that Kristen allegedly sent to a Meta representative in May 2025 on behalf of Savannah’s mom (and Lindsie’s stepmom), Julie.
“ … my publicist asked if [Kristen] could help us get in touch with someone at Meta,” Savannah claimed at the time. “My mom had lost access to her Instagram account after being in prison for nearly 2.5 years, and we were simply trying to regain access.”
Savannah went on to insist that this exchange was “the only communication that took place” and that her parents “were never in contact with Kristen,” nor have there been emails exchanged between the two parties.
“My publicist reached out to a professional colleague for assistance with a Meta contact… nothing more, nothing less,” Savannah added. “Any suggestion otherwise is simply false. Facts matter, and it’s important that false narratives stop being presented as truth.”
Lindsie used Wednesday’s episode to respond to (and blast) Savannah’s explanation. After insisting that she has no reason to comment because she doesn’t care, Lindsie then proceeded to comment.
“Allegedly Savannah was in Kail’s DMs [about our segment],” Lindsie said. “I get it, you have Instagram, but you also know she’s my business partner so it seems kind of snaky. Why are you in my business partner’s DMs? If you have an actual issue, go to your sister. Don’t got to my business partner. But, you know, this is what we’re dealing with.”
Lindsie’s clapback at Savannah continued when she claimed that someone had “accidentally” forwarded her an email thread from April that showed that Kristen was working with Savannah.
“It was supposed to be confidential, but they removed their confidentiality when it got sent to me,” Lindsie stated. (She did not reveal who “accidentally” sent her the emails.)
“You should have been ballsy enough to say ‘I was doing that,'” Lindsie said to her sister. “And since [she thinks] I’m such a bottom-of-the-barrel human being, and since I’m [so] irrelevant, why did you use me as a storyline on your Lifetime documentary? Why do you constantly bring me up?”
(Lindsie is referring to the docuseries ‘The Chrisleys: Back to Reality’ which aired on Lifetime last year. During one episode, Savannah discussed her feud with Lindsie, stating, “We’re no longer family, lose our last name.”)
Lindsie stated she introduced Savannah to her publicist, who then became Savannah’s publicist.
“[She] is no longer my publicist; I have a better publicist. [You] used my publicist that you met through me; you used me to launch your podcast,” Lindsie said to her sister. “You also used my contract that you paid nothing for that I paid attorneys’ fees for, for [your] contract. And you used it.
“And now you backdoor a situation on an assistant?”
“Good luck! That’s what I can say to you: good luck to you,” Lindsie told Savannah. “Because I can genuinely say I never wish ill-will on anybody, and I would never wish anybody the situation that we were left in. That’s what I can say.”
Lindsie stated that she has receipts to prove Savannah is lying.
“And, for anybody who wants to question, or if you want to come out and make a statement, I have all of the emails right here, sister! So what you gonna do about that?” Lindsie told Savannah. “Call my cohost a liar? Say we’re ‘misrepresenting facts?’ Saying we caused speculation? There is no ‘speculation’ because the speculation is over.”
Lindsie then asked her estranged sis if she plans to give up the famous Chrisley last name someday.
“…also, I would love to know, since you’re moving on and you have a man in your life are you gonna change your last name? Because that will be an interesting play.”
Lindsie’s fans seemed to have a mixed reaction to her coming for Savannah, especially because she had vowed not to bring any more “mean girl energy” to the rebranded podcast.
“I thought we were rebranding… doesn’t seem like that’s happening. Smh a mess!” one person wrote in the comment section of The Southern Tea‘s post.
“Girl, you should never wish ill will on a family member especially your sister no matter what’s happening!” another person commented.
“Your villain era is upon us, and I’m here for all the tea,” someone else commented.
“I love diabolical Lindsie,” another follower wrote.
