Mackenzie Standifer has taken action to keep her ex-husband Ryan Edwards‘ wife Amanda Conner away from their kids!
The Ashley can exclusively reveal that Mack filed for— and was granted— an ex parte emergency restraining order to bar Amanda from being around Jagger and Stella— the two kids Mackenzie shares with the ‘Teen Mom’ star. In addition, Mackenzie asked the judge to modify the existing custody agreement so that Ryan is not able to take the kids anywhere on his own or have them at his home.
The court did not barred Ryan from seeing the kids, meaning he can likely visit them at his parents’ house.
This changes the custody agreement Mack and Ryan signed in August 2025, which granted Mackenzie 225 days a year with the kids and Ryan 140 days, including overnight visits.
According to court documents obtained by The Ashley, Mackenzie filed for the emergency restraining order/custody modification on Friday and the judge approved the order the same day. Temporary custody of the kids was granted to Mack, and it looks like Ryan was issued a summons that same day.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Ryan and Amanda both have a long history of substance abuse issues and legal problems. They met while rehabbing in 2023. Both got sober and Amanda gave birth to their daughter, Presley, in 2025. Earlier this year, fans began to comment on Amanda’s erratic and strange behavior on social media, causing some to accuse Amanda of being on drugs, something she denied.
In May, she was arrested for DUI. Her arrest triggered additional charges of Child Abuse/Neglect since she had Presley in the car with her.
Not long after her arrest, Amanda confessed to relapsing. Since then, though, she has claimed to be on the straight-and-narrow and maintaining her sobriety. However, last month the judge in her case ordered Amanda to submit to weekly drug tests. (Amanda explained it away as being due to her “haters” calling her probation officer excessively.)
She is next due to appear in court for her charges on October 21.
Ryan and Amanda have not commented yet on Mackenzie winning temporary emergency custody of Ryan’s kids.

I’ve already commented once on this post, but I feel the need to comment again. The amount of people who dick ride Mack is alarming. The same people who were talking shit about her when she got outed for banging her friends husband, the same people who have talked shit about her marrying Ryan when he was high. Not to mention the amount of people who don’t actually read whole comments, but instead cherry pick what they want to out of a comment. Like, are you people okay? If it wasn’t for me loving @TheAshley’s style of writing and some of the more intelligent people who comment on her posts, I wouldn’t even bother with the comment section, because some of you are blind to facts, other people’s opinions, and the history of these people.

You don’t get emergency custody for something that happened 4 months ago. There has to be an EMERGENT situation. So something else happened, and it’s weird yall don’t want a mother to do everything she can to protect her children. And I don’t even like her!
Thank God for Mimi Jen, caring and protecting all those kids! Where is Amanda’s son though? She has sole custody of him now but is actively using still. Does anyone know if he’s been seen on her social media recently?
Who is Jen protecting other than Ryan? Certainly not Stella and Jagger. Her house is used for Ryan’s visitation because she is doing Ryan a favor, not the kids. She is keeping the baby for Ryan’s sake. I’m not saying she doesn’t love her grandkids. Of course she does. But, she enables and protects Ryan.
And, rumor is that Amanda’s son is back with his step-grandma who raised him for most of his life. Not sure if that’s true.

Also I remember when Amanda was mocking Mackenzie constantly online… I don’t feel sorry for Amanda. She’s trash regardless of also being a junkie.
I’m prepared for the amount of hate I’m going to get for this, so here goes.
Amanda was arrested in May. If this restraining order has anything to do with that whole situation, then Mackenzie looks petty as hell. Why wait 4 months to file?
My thoughts are that either Amanda or Ryan have done something substantial recently for this to be going down. It’s the only thing that makes sense.
As someone in recovery (I have 8 years clean off of m**h and almost 1 year sober from alcohol), I have really been rooting for both Amanda and Ryan because I’ve lived that life and getting clean and sober is the hardest thing I’ve done in almost 47 years of life. Especially when the whole world is expecting you to fail. Yes, relapses happen for some folks unfortunately. I’ve been lucky, I put that shit down and never touched it again and have no desire to. But it’s looking like Amanda doesn’t have the same luck as me. Ryan is just inherently an uninvolved parent, sober or not. I did have hope for him to turn it around, especially when he apologized to Bentley and seemed like he was taking a genuine interest in being a part of Bentley’s life. Ryan reminds me of my Dad, distant and not invested. But, as a recovering addict, I can say with the utmost certainty that Amanda is on a backslide like no other. She’s not going to get better until she’s away from whatever is keeping her down and she’s really not going to get better until she gets some psychiatric help. Girls got a rough backstory, but she needs help to learn how to not use that as an excuse to stay sick. Until her and Ryan can figure it out, Mackenzie made the right decision. Either way, I’m keeping everyone involved, including Amanda and Ryan, in my prayers.

You think it’s petty for Mack to protect her kids against 2 addicts that have relapsed? One of which drove her toddler impaired and can’t even be alone with her? Ok? Weird take.
It’s petty she waited months- like if you were really scared for your children’s safety you would have acted immediately and filed this months ago. Ex parte is dirty I don’t agree with that. It’s unfair af but at least she did something…
Oh please, it’s pretty clear something must have happened to tip the scales. The judge obviously agreed with her, which they’re not going to do unless there was a very serious accusation of imminent harm. If she was trying to get an ex parte order on old information, it would have been denied pending a hearing.
@Streets Full Of Uppercut they would grant an ex parte order on old information, especially when Amanda used to be court ordered to not be around the kids during Ryan and Mack’s divorce proceedings. With Amanda being recently ordered to submit to weekly drug testing, there’s another reason they would grant the ex parte. If Mack was truly doing this out of concern for the kids and not because she was trying to make life difficult for Ryan and Amanda in some way, she would have filed back when Amanda got arrested.
@Oops that’s all I’m saying. If she was truly concerned about the kids, she would have filed the day Amanda got arrested. This whole thing is really giving petty BS vibes. We know that Amanda relapsed, but none of us have actual proof that Ryan has. Just suspicion.
Ex parte helped me protect myself and my four kids from an abuser. Thank goodness I had that option available. I’m grateful for the domestic violence advocate who helped me and the judge who granted it.
@KaiButtLicker if Mack filed solely because of Amanda’s arrest in May? Yes, that screams petty BS. And do you or any of us for that matter have proof that Ryan has relapsed? We all know that Amanda relapsed and is most likely still using. If Mack waited almost 5 months after Amanda’s arrest to file, it gives petty vibes not protective Mom vibes. She should have filed the day Amanda got arrested. And news flash, recovering addicts CAN parent children. Speak intelligently or don’t comment, none of us know what led to this sudden filing. We only have gossip and Amanda’s arrest in May to operate with.
You telling someone else to speak intelligently after accusing Mack of being petty based on you think maybe happened is just ridiculous. Judges don’t grant ex parte orders unless they agree that there’s an imminent risk. You do understand that you’re not actually aware of everything that’s going on, right? So jumping to the conclusion that Mack is just being petty is absurd.

You don’t know the facts about their situation any more than I do. You are the definition of an uneducated troll. Learn how to look at the whole situation, stop sucking Mack’s dick so hard, and stop accusing people of doing what you are doing. It’s also interesting to see Maci’s recent post about Bentley and his high school accomplishments. Parents are named over the PA as Maci and Taylor, no Ryan in sight, no mention of him at all. Maci must have cooled on her enthusiasm for Ryan and his “recovery” as well.
I thought about that too. My understanding is the students have a say in what’s said over the PA, if that’s the case then Bentley is the one who chose to exclude Ryan which makes me think he’s not so thrilled with Ryan these days either
I’d have a permanent restraining order against both Ryan and her. Those poor kids could get killed in their care due to them being on drugs and accidentally forgetting them or worse.
No judge would grant a permanent RO for a minor against a parent without documentation of severe physical or sexual abuse.
I was hoping Mackenzie would do this and am honestly surprised it took this long which makes me wonder if anything happened.
I hope Maci has been smart enough to ensure Bentley isn’t around his methtastic stepmommy either, obviously it’s different in that he’s older and able to drive but nevertheless, I would still be concerned.
My exact thought was why did it take her this long to file for the emergency order? I will not at all be surprised if we hear that either Ryan or Amanda just did something else awful that caused Mack to finally wake up and file for this protection.
It makes me wonder if some kind of threat was made by Amanda that gave Mackenzie the ammunition she needed to get the emergency order granted.

I wonder if anything specific happened. Amanda does not look sober on social media and honestly when you see Ryan’s eyes his sobriety is questionable. If I were Mackenzie I wouldn’t want my kids going there unsupervised.
She’s probably worried for them to ever be riding in a vehicle with Amanda after what happened. Can’t really trust Ryan will keep them safe.
I’m still stunned the judge ever forced Mack to surrender the kids to Ryan for weekend visits around Amanda. She should’ve had to prove her sobriety for YEARS before having access to those kids.
Agreed. And honestly Ryan should have as well. Especially because when he destroyed Mack’s house he also destroyed his kids rooms, breaking their toys, flipping their beds. And then there is the lovely fact that he smeared actual poop on the walls. I wouldn’t trust Ryan as far as I could throw him. At least not for a long while.
