Gage Edward Throws Shade at Ex Jeff Lewis Amid ‘Still Flipping Out’ Premiere; Tells Bravo to “Call [Him] Back”

Former ‘Flipping Out’ Star Gage Edward isn’t appearing on his ex Jeff Lewis’ new Bravo show, ‘Still Flipping Out’, but he is getting some laughs out of the situation.

As longtime Bravo fans know, Jeff and Gage were in a relationship for a decade, with the two welcoming daughter Monroe via surrogate in 2016. After working, appearing on TV and becoming fathers together, Jeff and Gage went on to split in 2019, prompting an extremely messy custody battle between the two that wasn’t settled until May 2021.

In early September, Gage posted an Instagram Reel reacting to Jeff’s upcoming spin-off, while sarcastically telling followers that it was his decision not to participate in the project. He kept the jokes coming Sunday on social media, while jokingly telling fans that his new found career as an influencer is proving to be more successful than his ex’s spin-off.

“Oh my gosh you guys, I have to update you,” Gage said. “So, I posted this Reel, just, you know, describing my situation and [how] like, after seven years of filming and eight years off from filming, I just feel like it’s time to pump the breaks, like, I gotta focus on me, finally– for once. Like, I’m just going to focus on all of these opportunities and like, just, things are just, like, being thrown at me. Like, ugh! So, I can’t film, and so, you know, I told you all that I basically launched my influencer career and what’s crazy is that more people watched that Reel than watched the whole television show. The whole first episode!

“I don’t know, maybe I’m on to something?” Gage continued. “You know, like, all [those] production dollar[s] and, you know, the months of pre-production and, ‘Edit this, clip that, and reshoot that dinner scene because we didn’t get it the first time,’ you know, all of that stuff. I just spent, like, five minutes and posted a Reel and more people watched it. So, Bravo, maybe you’ll call me back next time. Um, so anyways, yes, I’m an influencer, it’s official … .”

For those wondering what Gage has been up to lately (besides becoming a social media influencer, that is) the former Bravo star announced on social media last summer that he’s engaged to Scott Anderson…who just happens to be Jeff’s ex-boyfriend.

According to Reality Blurb, Jeff and Scott began dating shortly after Jeff and Gage called it quits in 2019. The couple’s relationship last for about a year before they, too, broke up. It’s unclear when Scott and Gage began their relationship, but Jeff has reportedly stated on his ‘Jeff Lewis Live’ radio show in the past that he’s supportive of his exes’ pairing.

Despite that alleged support, Jeff and Gage were at odds with one another just months ago regarding a failed settlement and a request for attorneys fees. In August, Jeff reportedly suggested on his radio show that the two would be heading to court (once again) to resolve the matter.

The legal drama came less than two years after Jeff told listeners that things were “a bit contentious” between him and Gage, but that their co-parenting relationship was functional at the time.
