Janelle Brown’s relationship with boyfriend Pete Lahowin may be new, but the ‘Sister Wives’ star is already predicting a long future by his side– side-by-side on porch rocking chairs, to be exact.
Earlier this week, Pete posted a video of himself and Janelle enjoying some quality time together while sitting in some rocking chairs– an activity that Janelle’s former sister wife Robyn once expressed a really strange deep yearning for.
“Beautiful fall afternoon,” Pete captioned his post. “Rockin with my baby. This is forever ❤️”
In the video, Pete told followers he’s predicting that he and Janelle will be together five years from now in a pair of their own rocking chairs. As for Janelle, she made it clear that she’s planning to be “rocking” with Pete for much longer than that.
“Oh no, let’s say thirty [years],” the former Mrs. Kody Brown stated.
While Pete attempted to compromise by suggesting “six years” to Janelle, Janelle stuck with her original prediction.
“Oh my God, thirty, okay,” Pete ultimately agreed.
While Janelle and Pete are already anticipating a “rocking” future together, it was only two months ago that the couple went public with their pairing.
As The Ashley previously reported, Janelle surprised fans in August by hard-launching her romance with Pete on social media. Although she noted at the time that the relationship had been “unfold[ing] quietly” for some time, it was just a few years ago that Janelle insisted that she would not be dating anytime soon, but would maybe revisit the idea “in 10 years.”
Fast forward three years, Janelle is posting loved-up couples content to social media on a regular basis and frequently praising the new man in her life. Just last week, she gave Pete a shout out on Instagram for “willingly” working through her honey-do list. A week prior, Janelle publicly applauded her “handy” other half for assisting with chores on her North Carolina farm.
“Have I told you yet how amazing [Pete] is? You’re probably starting to get the point 😍🫶🏻,” she told followers. “But this man has gladly supported us in our farm dream and helps out in so many ways when he is around.
“ … He is definitely handy to have around 😍,” Janelle added. “I think he is a keeper ❤️”
In a photo drop from September, Janelle shared snapshots of the “fun adventures” she and Pete had throughout the month, telling fans, “it’s so fun having someone to do life with.” Janelle confirmed in her post that she and Pete are still in a long-distance relationship at this time, though she suggested that they won’t be a geographically challenged couple forever.
“Tomorrow I go back to [North Carolina] and Pete will stay in [Las Vegas],” she wrote. “We are slowly figuring out the long distance thing as we work to change it.”
While Janelle hasn’t confirmed that Pete– who’s set to make his ‘Sister Wives’ debut later this season– is planning to relocate to North Carolina, she has suggested that her current home on Taeda Farms is where she plans to stay forever.
“There’s still so much more I want to build here,” Janelle told fans in April of her newly built abode. “This is really just the beginning of what this place will become.”
