From making people cringe to making people aware of a family feud, it’s been another busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Catelynn Lowell Blasts “Toxic” Mom April on Social Media; Calls April’s Life “A Mess”
Catelynn Lowell appears to be feuding (once again) with her mom, April Brockmiller.
The former ‘Teen Mom’ star took a break from posting about adoption to fire off a series of remarks and reposts about fractured family relationships.
“They say I turned my back on my family, but the truth is, my family turned their back on me the moment they expected me to sweep things under the rug,” Cate posted to her Instagram Story on Wednesday.
In another Instagram Story, Cate reposted a poem about being the “villain” in her family for not “falling into place” for the sake of her own children.
While some of her Instagram Stories were vague, Cate eventually revealed that the person she’s currently beefing with is her mom.
“POV: you finally set boundaries with the toxic family member that NEVER treated you right & always got away with it b/c ‘that’s your mother,’” she wrote on Thursday.
After clarifying that her mom was the intended target of her fury of fired-up posts, Cate doubled down by throwing some insults directly at April and her “mess” of a life.
“I will never need revenge because look at your life.. it’s a mess,” she wrote. “Full of lies, haunted by what you refuse to face and fake people who cheer you on while you drown. You’ll never touch my peace. You’ll never match my energy. Not now. Not ever.”
As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Cate and April have had many ups and downs in their mother-daughter relationship over the years, with the majority of those disputes stemming from April’s issues with alcohol. In fact, April’s decision to BYOB and (allegedly) crack open a brewski at Cate and Tyler Baltierra’s in-person visit with bio daughter Carly in 2023 caused the meet-up to go south, as Cate had warned her mom in advance that there was to be no drinking during the visit.
Coincidentally (or not), that ended up being the final in-person visit for Cate and Tyler, as Carly’s parents have since closed the adoption.
While April insisted in August during an episode of her and son Nick Radtke’s podcast that she’s not a “crackhead,” she acknowledged that she is an alcoholic.
Despite this admission, it remains unknown if April’s drinking has anything to do with her and Cate’s recent feud.
Ryan Edwards Mourns the Loss of His Faithful Dog Chance
‘Teen Mom’ dad Ryan Edwards announced this week on social media that his beloved dog Chance has passed away.
In a tribute posted to TikTok on Wednesday, Ryan called the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel– who frequently appeared on ‘Teen Mom,’ usually right by Ryan’s side– “a great dog and a good friend.” The dad of four also credited Chance for helping to keep him alive while he was “going through some ruff stuff.”
“This was the most loyal animal ever hell prob one [of] the most loyal things in my life,” Ryan wrote. “That and @AmandaEdwards.
“Good buy [sic] Chance I love you buddy,” he added.
Ryan went on to post a second tribute to Chance on Facebook, along with a trio of photos of the pup paling around with Ryan and wife Amanda Conner’s daughter, Presley.
“Chance wasn’t just a dog; he was family, and a piece of our hearts went with him last night,” Ryan’s post read. “He was so much more than four paws and a wagging tail, especially to my Presley baby, who was his very best friend.
“The love they shared was so special, and I’m forever grateful for the memories we made with him,” he continued. “Run free, sweet boy. You’ll always be our Chance, and you’ll never be forgotten. Until we meet again.”

Jenelle Evans Gives Advice on Being Her “Authentic Self” During an Incredibly Awkward Red Carpet Interview
Jenelle hobbled her way down a red carpet this week and gave one of the most awkward interviews to grace the ‘Teen Mom’ Universe since this lil’ slice of heaven.
Jenelle’s reinstated manager, Johnny Donovan (whom, you may remember, was accused by Jenelle of stealing money from her a few years back) somehow got her on the list for Tim Tebow‘s charity event in Florida earlier this week. Although she has claimed she can “go paralyzed” at any time, due to her surplus of medical issues, Jenelle still managed to stand for interviews while walking the red carpet, with the help of her trusty crutches.
The fired ‘Teen Mom’ star delivered some Grade A awkwardness while speaking to the Content Condo‘s equally awkward reporter. When asked why she had dragged herself to the event, Jenelle claimed that she was there to “support the case” because it’s “very important to spread more awareness.” She did not, however, name what that “cause” actually is. (For the record, the event was for the Tim Tebow Foundation, which fights human trafficking and child exploitation.)
The painfully cringy reporter than asked Jenelle what her “key” is to “withstanding the test of time” in her reality TV “career.”
No, seriously…
“I think really being yourself and authentically yourself and not thinking about what you’re going to post,” Jenelle started. “And just post it.”
Jenelle then quickly contradicted exactly what she just said.
“But make sure it’s not too controversial!” she added.
The reporter then brought up the fact that Jenelle posts pics of her pickle-pocket and pooper over on OnlyFans. Jenelle bragged that her sexy time pics are a “big stream of revenue” for her, but that she also has “like five or six different streams of revenue.”
“Do you encourage all creators to make as many streams of revenue in this day and age, whether it be premium content, subscription base, or just puttin’ themselves out there, eBooks, things of that nature?” the reporter asks Jenelle.
Jenelle encouraged everyone to “utilize it all” and then provided some stellar advice for other “creators.”
“Honestly, I’ll post a video to TikTok and recycle that to everything,” Jenelle says.

‘Teen Mom 2’ Dad Adam Lind is Building New Digs with His New Girlfriend Hayley
Chelsea Houska’s once-legally-challenged (first) baby daddy Adam Lind is putting down roots with his Chelsea-lookalike girlfriend, Hayley.
Earlier this week, Adam’s girlfriend took to social media to announce that she and Adam are in the process of building a new home together. Based on one of the photos featured in Hayley’s Instagram carousel, it appears that Adam is even lending a hand in the construction process.
“A little land, a lot of lumber, a few muddy paws, and whole lot of memories waiting to be made,” Hayley captioned her post.
As fans of ‘Teen Mom 2’ know, Adam shares teenage daughter Aubree with Chelsea. After ending their toxic on-and-off relationship on the show, the exes remained at odds for years as Chelsea struggled to co-parent with Adam, who frequently dropped the ball in the parenting department and occasionally landed behind bars for failing to pay child support.
In August, fans were shocked when Chelsea hard-launched her friendship with Adam’s girlfriend Hayley on social media, seemingly confirming that, after years of being at odds with one another, she and Adam had finally established a friendship of sorts.
While the news of Chelsea and Adam being on friendly terms may have surprised those who watched their struggles play out on “16 and Pregnant” and ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Chelsea had revealed back in 2023 that things between her and Adam had significantly improved since fans last saw them.
“We’re not best friends, but we’re not enemies,” she told The Ashley while promoting her and husband Cole DeBoer’s HGTV series, ‘Down Home Fab.’ “If I were to see him, there would be no hard feelings at all.”
That same year, Chelsea told Us Weekly that, despite the very rocky road that she’d been down with Adam, there were “no bad vibes” between them, and that everyone was “in a really good place.”

not gonna state the obvious because we already know but i’m glad to see adam is doing a lot better, not a fan of him or how horrible he was to chelsea but it’s nice to see that these teen mom kids have healthy parents and can just focus on being normal kids
I’m honestly shocked Catelynn hasnt cut off her mom a long time ago. She needs to continue with whatever counselor she must be seeing. Kail did years ago with her mom.
I’m sure it would be a difficult thing, but their moms just added so many problems to their lives and didnt treat them well.
