From making nice with a baby daddy to making up with a co-host, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Chelsea Houska Befriends Adam Lind’s Girlfriend & Is on Good Terms with Adam:

File this under: “Never thought we would see that day.”
‘Teen Mom 2’-turned-HGTV star Chelsea Houska shocked fans this week when she seemingly hard-launched her friendship with ex-boyfriend Adam Lind’s girlfriend, Hayley, signaling she’s now on good terms with Adam.
Hayley recently posted a selfie of her and Adam to Instagram, which was “liked” by Chelsea. (Chelsea— who shares daughter Aubree with Adam– also follows Hayley on the platform.)
If the “like” and follow wasn’t enough, Chelsea later posted a photo of herself, Hayley and Aubree to her Instagram Story, which Hayley shared on her own page, confirming that Chelsea is on friendly terms with her legally challenged (first) baby daddy.
‘Teen Mom 2’ fans watched for years as Chelsea struggled to co-parent with Adam, with the latter frequently failing to show up for various father/daughter dances activities and occasionally winding up behind bars for not paying child support.
While promoting ‘Down Home Fab’ in 2023, however, Chelsea revealed that things between her and Adam had significantly improved since fans last saw them, with Chelsea describing their dynamic as “fine.”
“We’re not best friends, but we’re not enemies at all,” she told The Ashley in January 2023. “If I were to see him, there would be no bad feelings at all.”
Chelsea claimed at the time that her once-toxic co-parenting relationship with Adam had improved largely because Aubree was a teen and could coordinate/communicate with Adam on her own.

That same year, Chelsea insisted to Us Weekly that, despite the very rocky road she’d been down with Adam, there were “no bad vibes” between them.
“I feel like everyone’s in a really good place,” she added.
To Adam’s credit, he hasn’t been in trouble with the law for several years. (This is, of course, a big deal for him, given that he was being arrested multiple times a year for years in the past.)
Kail Lowry Confesses That She Quit Her Coffee Convos Podcast Due to Her Co-Host Lindsie Chrisley’s Extended Absence:

Kail and her cohost Lindsie recently teamed back up on their Coffee Convos podcast (after Lindsie took an extended sabbatical from the show and social media). Kail and Lindsie mentioned that things got a bit heated between them at one point during Lindsie’s absence, but Kail is now revealing that their relationship was so strained at one point, she actually quit the podcast all together.
During a recent interview with The Sarah Fraser Show, Kail was asked how close she and Lindsie came to parting ways (and ending their podcast), prompting Kail to reveal what had actually happened between them.
“Oh, I had quit,” she said. “…I had quit Coffee Convos podcast.”

She went on to reveal that she and Lindsie had agreed that Lindsie could take five weeks off from the podcast, and Kail would handle the recording, ads, etc. on her own. (As The Ashley previously told you, Lindsie disappeared from the podcast and social media following her arrest for DUI in May.)
Kail revealed that, although Lindsie had agreed to only take a five-week sabbatical, she actually ended up staying away even longer— something Kail was not happy about.
“I ended up doing six weeks [of the show on my own] and I had told her in the midst of all that, that I was done, that I wasn’t gonna do it,” Kail said.

“We weren’t communicating,” she continued. “…We weren’t getting together; we weren’t doing our part to continue making the podcast successful. And I think people really underestimate how much work goes into a podcast.”
Kail was apparently not happy that Lindsie had extended her break from the podcast— all while Kail was left to defend them against negative comments while also putting in all the work for the show.
“It was just so half-assed, and also our lack of communication,” Kail said. “I was just like, ‘I’m done. I have seven kids. I have a lot of stuff going on. Like, I can’t handle this anymore.'”
During the July episode of Coffee Convos in which Lindsie returned, Kail revealed that she and Lindsie argued backstage during a stop on Kail’s Fatherless Behavior tour in Anaheim, California.

“There were very hard conversations, some not-nice words shared; not the proudest moment for me, for sure,” Lindsie said during the July podcast episode. “But I don’t think that we would be sitting in this room now or possibly ever if that didn’t happen…
“I mean it sucks one of us was stone-faced and one of us was crying…” Lindsie said, adding that Kail was the one crying “like a baby.”
During her interview this week with Sarah Fraser, Kail stated that she and Lindsie “are like sisters” who can fight and move past their conflicts.

“It was a challenging few months for us, for sure,” Kail said. “We really are like a dysfunctional pair of sisters, genuinely. And I had said that at one point. I was like, ‘This is so hard because I love Lindsie so much but then this piece is not working, making sort of like a toxic cycle that just kept going and going.”
Despite having already quit the podcast, Kail said she made the decision to work things out with Lindsie and continue on with it.
“We both have so much love for the podcast and we have so much love for our audience and for everything that we’ve built,” she said. “I think it would be a really hard pill to swallow if we ended the podcast because it would simultaneously end our friendship I think, inadvertently.
“It wouldn’t be intentional, but I just don’t think our friendship would have survived that as well.”
Farrah Abraham Says Her Mom Debra Danielsen’s Love for Her Was “Performative” & She Didn’t Let Farrah Get Close to Her Father Michael

Farrah Abraham is opening up about the lack of love she felt from her parents, stating that what love her mom Debra Danielsen did give her felt “performative.”
In a recent interview with the We Need to Talk podcast, the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star also claimed that Deb purposely kept her from having a close relationship with her dad, Michael Abraham.
“I think I really yearned to just have a relationship with my dad,” she said. “My mom would never allow [my sister and I] to hang out or be around my dad without her.”
Farrah claimed that Debra tried to seem like a loving mother— but failed miserably.
“I felt like my mom in a lot of ways [was performing],” she said. “And it’s really sad to look back on it.”

When Farrah was asked if she thinks her rap superstar mother loved her, Farrah stated, “I think she tried [to love me].
“And I think she does. That is her own opinion. That is her own world,” she added.

“That is how she would answer it and, you know, time and time again has said that she has [loved me] but it doesn’t hit. It doesn’t align. I think I was creating love,” Farrah said.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Farrah stated she “doesn’t like to talk s**t about my family and love” but that her family had a “confusing family dynamic.”

“My parents weren’t really connected and I was over at my grandparents’ most of the time,” she said, adding that both Deb and Michael were often traveling for work.
Later, Farrah said she does talk to her mom and dad “here and there” now but says she’s “detached with love” from them.
“I can’t keep putting them on a pedestal,” she said. “It’s hard to grieve the love that you just don’t get.”
Last month, Deb appeared on the podcast of Catelynn Lowell‘s mom April and brother Nick and expressed her hope that the estrangement between her and Farrah would end.

“My prayers are that she will [reach out to me],” Deb said. “You know, time is so short and it would be really nice not to waste any more time not talking. [I’d like to] get back together and go have some fun and go celebrate life a little bit.”
‘Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant’ Season 1 Stars Lexi Tatman & Kyler Lopez Welcome Third Baby

Lexi Tatman is officially a mom of three!
The former MTV star— who starred on the very first season of ‘Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant’— shared on Instagram that she and husband Kyler Lopez welcomed their third child earlier this month.
“Miss Sophia June Lopez,” Lexi wrote. “Welcome to the world sunshine girl.”
In the comment section of her post, Lexi thanked fans for their kind words and took a moment to give her “phenomenal husband” Kyler a shoutout for being “the best support person, the best dad and all around the best partner ever.”
“I could write a million and one words to show my love and gratitude to you but I will save it for us,” she added.
Lexi also gave kudos to her labor and delivery team, while telling followers that she’ll share details about the last few months of her pregnancy later– including the “issues” she experienced.
As The Ashley previously told you, Lexi shared in February that she and Kyler– who are also parents to sons Tobias and Jay– were expecting their third child. Lexi’s pregnancy announcement came less than six months after she revealed on social media that she had recently suffered a miscarriage and that she and Kyler had been struggling to have another child for more than a year. (The couple’s first son was born on Season 1 of ‘Young & Pregnant’ and they welcomed their second son in 2019.)
Upon sharing the news in February, Lexi revealed how she was staying positive during her pregnancy after experiencing multiple losses, while admitting to followers that she was “absolutely spiral[ing] and terrified.”
“As you probably know I use dark humor to help cope, but I also have to remind myself that whatever happens is out of my control and to just take it day by day,” she wrote. “Every day does get a little easier for me but it’s a constant fear in the back of my mind.”
In April, Lexi revealed that she was expecting a baby girl. She noted in her caption of her announcement that she was not expecting twins, despite what her gender reveal (somewhat) suggested.
“ … Tobias and Jay were very involved in the gender reveal for the family, they both had options on ways to reveal and each chose their own way,” she explained. “There is only 1 baby!”
