Kate Gosselin is doubling down on her previous claims that her estranged son Collin killed animals “for fun” as a child, as well as physically attacked those closest to him. On Thursday, the ‘Kate Plus 8’ star gave what she claims are specific examples of times when Collin was violent or harmed animals.
The disgraced reality TV star has been battling in the comment section of her recent TikToks, defending herself against the claims of abuse Collin has been making in the media and his new tell-all book. Collin has vehemently denied that he ever harmed animals or others during his childhood but on Thursday Kate decided to give specific examples of times Collin allegedly killed animals and harmed women around him.

After Kate was pressured by online commenters to provide proof and examples of the things that she says occurred, Kate gave details of one such alleged incident.
“I can tell you what’s missing [from Collin’s narrative]: his behavior that he conveniently never mentions,” Kate wrote. “To start with, his killing of nine birds on Jan 28, 2015. He hid them in a bathroom cabinet which is the same place he would store items he regularly stole from family members.
“Then he moved them, placing them neatly in a double stack, five on the bottom and four on the top, on our patio to be found,” Kate continued. “I have receipts that include a voice recording of him (made for his therapist prior to his emergency therapy appt about the incident) admitting it as well as an entire detailed text conversation with the babysitter about it.”
Kate went on to detail what she was referring to when she alleged previously that Collin had used weapons and violence against her, his siblings and others.
“He also assaulted family members and his teacher with multiple weapons, on multiple different occassions,” she wrote. “He attacked his teacher on May 5, 2016, after hiding in the dark and jumping out with a weapon, lunging for her neck.”
Kate wrote that this alleged incident, as well as “his destructive tirade that followed,” is what led to Collin being taken to the emergency room by ambulance. He was then committed to a psych hospital by the doctors at that emergency room, according to Kate. She went on to point out that Collin has not released all of the 7000+ pages in his medical records from the first facility he was placed in.
“He picks and chooses excerpts to release that conveniently don’t include his daily destructive outbursts or his attacks on female nurses while in the facility,” Kate added. “Be careful taking what he says at face value. He’s a master at appearing ‘normal’ and convincing [people] that what he says is true when it’s not! I raised him, I know!”
Kate went on to explain that she kept “all of this quiet” for more than 10 years, but that she is choosing to go public now because Collin has.
“He’s an adult now and he can’t expect to be able to go public and play the victim without his crimes coming to light!” she added.
As The Ashley reported on Wednesday, Kate shared on TikTok why only one of her other kids (Hannah) has released a statement regarding Collin and his book. On Thursday, she went into more detail as to how the others— Aaden, Joel, Cara, Mady, Leah and Alexis— feel about Collin and his alleged behavior.

“It makes my other seven [kids] SO upset that we had to endure all of his trauma and [people] only cared what HE was going through,” Kate wrote. “And it’s still happening now. [I] never wanted to detail this but he has left me no choice.”
She also pointed out that the fact that none of Collin’s siblings currently have a relationship with him should be telling.
“None of his seven siblings speak to him by choice…yet these haters want to try to say that I don’t speak to my extended family when they have no idea what is real (bc that’s not),” she wrote. “He writes or says it, they believe it. They create a narrative that suits them and no amount of truth matters. Crazy.
“I can’t wait until they see the REAL black and white facts on all this,” Kate continued. “I’m willing to put it out there at the right place and on the right forum. Didn’t want to, tried to protect him, but may have to now.”
As of press time, Collin has not responded to Kate’s claims about him killing birds or attacking his teacher and family members. However, earlier this week Collin’s rep released a statement denying her previous claims of animal abuse and violence.
“Let us be absolutely clear: Collin has never used a weapon to harm a family member, nor has he ever harmed or killed an animal in his lifetime,” Collin’s rep, Adriane Schwartz, told Page Six. “These allegations are categorically false… To publicly accuse your innocent child of such heinous acts to protect your reputation is beyond reprehensible.”

Even if everything she is saying about him is true (which I think it’s exaggerated at the very least) why as a mother would she still feel the need to publicly attack him. As his mother she should have some empathy and sadness over all this not be on full defense
