Kate Gosselin says her kids are sticking by her side. (Well, most of them, at least…)
In new comments posted on her latest TikTok post, the disgraced ‘Kate Plus 8’ star gave an update on how she and her kids are faring in the wake of her son Collin‘s tell-all book being released. As The Ashley has previously reported, Collin’s book describes the abuse he allegedly suffered at Kate’s hand throughout his childhood, something Kate has denied.
Although Kate has yet to release a formal statement on Collin’s book, she does sometimes respond to comments from her followers who offer support. While Collin is currently estranged from Kate and all of his siblings (including, apparently, Hannah whom he was once close to), Kate claimed that her other kids— Alexis, Leah, Mady, Cara, Joel and Aaden— are supporting her through this time.

When one of Kate’s followers asked her how her kids are doing, another person responded to bring up the hate Hannah has received since revealing this week that she no longer speaks to Collin.
Kate commented that she and the kids are “sticking together.”
In response to another supportive comment that was left on Kate’s birthday post to her boyfriend Steve Neild, Kate seemed to hint that she’s struggling amid the backlash she’s received because of Collin’s book and latest interviews. She thanked the supporter for their kind words.
“Wow, thank you,” Kate wrote. “I needed this encouragement and you are right. I know who I am and my kids know who I truly am and to me, that’s all that matters.”
Kate “hearted” several other comments that slammed the way people are harassing her on TikTok over Collin’s claims. Others pointed out that “someone” (cough, Collin, cough) is enjoying the publicity he’s receiving.
“…all I can say is someone who hated television and the spotlight there’s someone out there making the rounds….hmmm,” the person (who obviously struggles with grammar) wrote.
“Right??!! lol” Kate responded.
As The Ashley previously reported, Hannah recently claimed on TikTok that she has not spoken to Collin in almost a year, and stated that she has had a relationship with Kate and her other siblings for awhile. One day after Hannah released her statement, Collin appeared on ‘The View’ and was asked to address what his sister said.
Collin stated that he believed Kate was manipulating Hannah and making her choose sides.
“All family are very complicated, and that statement sounded like a lot of the words of my mother, especially the last part,” Collin said.
“What I do believe has happened is that Hannah’s caught in the middle, and nobody deserves that,” he said. “I know what it feels like. You have to fight to have a relationship with your siblings. I don’t have [a relationship] with my siblings, and I know how much that hurts.”
Collin disputed that he and Hannah haven’t spoken in almost a year, and stated that he feels bad for his sister.
“Not only is she caught in the middle, but I do believe my mom is either leveraging finances or Hannah’s relationship with our siblings over Hannah,” he said. “…It’s not Hannah’s fault. She should be able to have a relationship with her father, with her mother, with all of her siblings, everybody should have that. It’s not her fault, but I do put the blame on my mother, because she’s leveraging that over Hannah.”

As of press time, Hannah is the only one of Collin’s siblings to release a public statement about him or his book.

LOL “My kids know who I truly am” Yeah, they know you are a raging, manipulative, exploitive poor excuse for a mother, who they are probably scared of but okay. LOL. Collin and Hannah (at one point) were the only two that had the balls to get away from your crazy ass. And PUH-lease with the “all I can say is someone who hated television and the spotlight there’s someone out there making the rounds” . First off he’s not living his life on a TV show that is ongoing and he’s only in the spotlight for a very brief moment in time, in an effort so that everyone knows the truth. You exploited your children for YEARS without a second thought AND likely took most of what THEY made or are controlling them now with holding those funds over their heads. Kate needs to piss off and leave it alone or apologize and admit that she was a POS mother instead of continuing to make it seem like Collin has done something wrong. I’m sorry but I cannot stand her. Before ANY of this came out I thought something was seriously wrong with her.
