Last fall, The Ashley broke the news that Farrah Abraham and her parents had signed on to be part of the first Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition season, replacing Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, who was supposed to go on the show but eventually refused to appear with her mother, Barbara.
Today, E! Online officially confirmed that the cast of the new ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ spin-off will include Farrah, her rappin’ mother Debra Danielsen, and her father Michael Abraham.
In addition to Farrah & Co., the cast includes Kendra Wilkinson and her estranged mother, Patti, as well as Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his brothers, Marc and Frank, the latter of whom he’s been at odds with since they got into a nasty public fist fight in 2014.
Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will also star on the show with his mother Paula.
“The series will feature a compelling cast of famous and famously dysfunctional families dealing with notorious and well-publicized rifts, who will undergo intense counseling and decide, with the help of experienced therapists Dr. Ish Major and Dr. Venus Nicolino, whether to save their relationships or cut family ties forever,” a press release from the network states.
As The Ashley previously reported, Farrah, Michael and Debra all traveled to Los Angeles last October to film a “mystery reality show” after WEtv’s contract with Jenelle fell apart. (From what Farrah’s arch-rival Amber Portwood claims, though, she was approached to do the show before Farrah was, but she turned it down.)
Anyway, Farrah and her parents will live in a house alongside the other participants, which should make for some interesting footage. (Who could forget how beautifully Farrah behaved while she was in the Celebrity Big Brother house?!)
In the just-released trailer of the season, Farrah can be seen shouting at the Sorrentino brothers during what appears to be a group therapy session.
“You have no man in you!” Farrah shouts at one of the brothers, who fires things right back at the “Backdoor Teen Mom.”
“And you’ve had EVERY man in you!” he shouts.
As for Kendra, it was recently reported that she and her mother Patti are getting their own show on WEtv, so it can be assumed that this is the show the report was referring to.
Things between the mother/daughter pair appear to be stellar, as always.
“I cannot have this person destroying my happiness anymore!” Kendra shouts in the trailer, as Patti rolls her eyes.
‘Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition’ premieres Friday, April 28 on WEtv. Watch the first trailer for the season below.
