Former ‘Teen Mom 2’ Boyfriend Kieffer Delp Sentenced Over Meth Lab Charges

“Prison ain’t so bad…at least you get three hots and a cot! Better than sleeping in the park…”

Well Juh-nelle! It looks like ya ex-boooooooyfriend is gonna be in prison for a while!

Kieffer Delp, the former soulmate of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, finally had his day in court on Wednesday, seven months after he was arrested for operating a meth lab out of his basement apartment (as you do).

The Ashley told you last week that “Kieffa” was facing four felony charges and three misdemeanor charges, stemming from his January arrestRadar Online reports that, on Wednesday, Kieffer attended his non-jury trial and accepted a plea deal for his crimes. A Clerk of Court for Allegheny County told Radar that Kieffer agreed to serve 18 to 36 months in a state correctional institution.

As part of the plea deal, all of Kieffer’s charges were dropped except for three. He pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge of “Operating a Methamphetamine Lab,” a third-degree felony charge of “Risking Catastrophe” and a felony charge of “Manufacture, Deliver or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver.”

Kieffer will be credited with the time he’s already served behind bars. (He’s been sitting in jail in Pennsylvania since his arrest on January 10.) After he does his time, Kieffer will be on probation for three years. (Luckily for him, “bein’ a felon ain’t illegal!”)

However, according to online court dockets, Kieffer is not eligible for Pennsylvania’s Recidivism Risk Reduction Incentive. (This basically gives non-violent offenders the opportunity to reduce their minimum sentences if they complete certain prison programs and show good behavior during their sentence.) Since he’s not RRRI eligible, Kieffer will likely have to serve at least his minimum sentence of 18 months.

‘Teen Mom 2’ fans got to see Kieffer’s mug on their TV screens again when he appeared on the December 2017 ‘Teen Mom 2’ special, “The Ex Files,” which caught viewers up on what all of Jenelle’s former soulmates are up to these days. During the special, Kieffer stated that he no longer used “hard drugs” but he did still enjoy “smokin’ the weeeeeeed!”

Wanna see his latest mugshot? Of course you do!

  1. I never thought Keiffer was a bad guy. A pot head sure, but not mean. I’ve known people like him in my hometown. Hope he straightens up.

  2. My boyfriend when I was a teenager sold pot. He was a few years older than me but after three years together, when I was about 19, we split. Long story short he ended up selling meth as well, got busted and spent 10 years in a federal prison after I had moved out of state. He was a career criminal; heavy drug use, selling, robbery, etc etc. After he served his 10 years, he FINALLY turned his life around. Now working as CDL licensed trucker, has a girlfriend, a dog and an apartment and is clean. We have actually remained friends to this day (I’m almost 40). I see a lot of him in Kieffer, both lost souls with shitty childhoods and no guidance or direction. I don’t know if 18 months is enough for Kieffer to have a wake up call, but as many other said, he is not a bad person and I hope he can clean up his life after this.

  3. I like Kieffa better than I like David…says a lot about Jenelle’s choice in men. I do hope he gets his act together while hes in the slammer though. At the end of the day he doesn’t seem like a malicious person, just lost.

    1. Um, he was running a meth lab. In his house. Now he’s in jail for a long time. Teeth and skin are what you’re gonna focus on here?

  4. I hope it will help him. I don’t know why but I just think he never had a fair chance in life and this is all he knows. Not like Courty, he is just a womenabusing ahole.
