Christina El Moussa has once again added the title of “Wifey” to her Instagram bio!
The Flip or Flop star got hitched on Saturday in Orange County, California, marrying her boyfriend of over a year, Ant Anstead, who is known for hosting various British TV shows including Wheelers Dealers. According to People, the couple surprised 70 of their closest friends and family with the wedding, telling them they were going to watch a Christmas boat parade but then actually taking them to the ceremony site.
“It was just perfect for us. Everything we wanted,” Christina told People.
Christina and Ant never publicly announced an engagement. They began dating in November 2017, over a year after Christina separated from her first husband (and ‘Flip or Flop’ co-star) Tarek El Moussa. Christina and Tarek’s divorce became official in January 2018. (Ant’s divorce from his first wife, Louise, was finalized in 2017.)
Together, the couple has four children. (Christina shares daughter Taylor and son Brayden with Tarek, and Ant has a son and a daughter from his first marriage.) All of the kids were present and part of the ceremony.
“We wanted to make it about the kids,” Ant told People. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”
Christina has already changed her last name from “El Moussa” to “Anstead” on her social media accounts.
Tarek has not publicly commented about his ex’s nuptials. However, during an appearance on the Today Show earlier this year, Tarek had nice things to say about Ant.
“He seems like a good guy,” Tarek said. “My kids seem to like him.”
It is not yet known if Ant will appear on Christina’s new show, Christina on the Coast, which is set to premiere in 2019. In August, HGTV announced that a new season of Flip or Flop will also air in 2019.
