Lindsie Chrisley’s accusations that her family extorted her with an alleged sex tape have resulted in the podcaster taking extra precautions for her own safety.
As The Ashley previously told you, Lindsie filed a police report recently claiming that her estranged father Todd and brother Chase—both of the Chrisley Knows Best reality series—had threatened to expose her sex tape with former Bachelorette contestant Robby Hayes if she didn’t lie about a certain incident. The alleged “incident” had to do with Todd and his wife Julie’s tax evasion situation, for which the couple was indicted for last week.
According to TMZ, Lindsie is fearful that her father or brothers—- Chase and her older brother Kyle, the latter of whom was arrested for battery in 2012 for allegedly hitting her in the face—- will retaliate with violence. Because of this, Lindsie has hired a $130/hour off-duty police security guard to ensure her safety.

In a video posted by TMZ, Lindsie can be seen walking alongside her hired security detail, whom she confirmed was brought on due to the current issues with her family.
“I just think that any time that something like this goes on within a family and things that have gone on in the past week, that it’s important for me to protect my safety and for my child,” Lindsie tells the cameraman when asked about the security guard.
Following the news of Todd and Julie’s tax woes, Lindsie, who co-hosts the Coffee Convos podcast with Teen Mom 2 star Kail Lowry, has been accused by both of her brothers of playing a part in her father and stepmother’s indictment.
While Lindsie’s decision to hire a private security guard may seem extreme to some, her brother did post a rather threatening message last week that was almost certainly aimed at Lindsie last week.
“Karma is a bitch…revenge is a complete monster and I’m coming,” Kyle wrote as part of a long message to his estranged sister.
Lindsie has denied the claims that she had anything to do with her parents’ arrest, and last week her attorney released a statement elaborating on her estrangement from the rest of the Chrisley family.

“Lindsie has been a constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family and as a result, has been distancing herself from the Chrisley family since 2017,” the statement reads. “Lindsie is currently processing the events that have unfolded. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and pray for a just resolution. We will have more to say when the opportunity presents itself.”

This family is weird. For him to threaten to expose her sex tape that means he has a copy of it or has the original. That’s fucking disturbing and gross. Any sane father would want to destroy it and not have it mentioned ever again. The brother isn’t any better. He’s just a mini version of his weirdo father.
It is quite possible that he is making it up just to stir the pot. She’s probably the one that told him about it thinking that he would keep her secret and not throw it back in her face the second things got a little bumpy!!!

Armed Security Guard, really Lindsie??!! What does she think they’re gonna do, contract a hit on her…DOUBT IT!!!! Todd Chrisley might have made a HUGE mistake but his children and grandchildren were always #1!!!! Maybe if he spent less time financially catering to those spoiled brats and more time on his own finances, HE COULD HAVE PAID HIS TAXES!!!!
Had nothing to do with not paying taxes. They willingly and knowingly defrauded multiple financial institutions by creating false documents. A little bit more treacherous than not paying taxes.

It’s difficult to believe anything who is friends and buds with Kail would say. Liars tend to stick together. They can’t and don’t trust each other because they know they are liars, so I am inclined to think the Diva Drama Queen is lying. But it makes for good publicity.
