Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo in January for its eighth and possibly most dramatic season to date.
In the E! News exclusive first look, we get a taste of what’s to come with our favorite current and former OG-SURvers. Meanwhile, a group of newcomers join the cast, bringing new blood and new drama for restaurant owner/show namesake Lisa Vanderpump to keep a watchful eye on.
Aside from HBIC Lisa, familiar faces returning to the show this season include Ariana Madix, Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.
While Stassi’s now-fiancé Beau Clark and James’ girlfriend Raquel Leviss have previously appeared on the show, both have been promoted to official cast members for the upcoming season, as evident by the addition of Beau’s to the Season 8 show intro.
While Raquel doesn’t appear to have her own slow-motion drink pour moment in the intro, she is in the cast photo at the beginning of the show again this season… and based on the sneak peek, her relationship with James will continue to be a storyline.
The new faces of Season 8 include Brett Caprioni, Charli Burnett, Danica Dow, Dayna Nathan and Max Boyens.
As for the drama in store this season, viewers will see Brittany and Jax prepare for their Kentucky nuptials, as Sandoval struggles to please Jax and his groomzilla tendencies; Stassi and Katie go head-to-head with best friend Kristen, putting the future of the Witches of WeHo in question; Ariana faces both success and a scandal; Lala focuses on her sobriety and home renovations amidst her engagement to Randall Emmett; James, faced with an ultimatum from Raquel, turns to Lala for help in getting his own demons under control; and Scheana is put in charge of bossing around training the newest group of SURvers.
