MTV Releases First Look at ‘Teen Mom OG’ Season 9: Watch Amber Portwood Contemplate Moving Into a Trailer on Ex Gary Shirley’s Property

“We’ll drink to that!”

The new season of Teen Mom OG premieres next month with more babies on the way (or at least one), marriage woes and, as The Ashley told you last week, Amber Portwood thinking about making a move to Gary Shirley’s property.

In an exclusive clip from E! News, we get a first look at all of the moms’ respective messes storylines for the upcoming ninth season in action, including the discussions about Amber and Gary’s potential new compound-living situation; Cheyenne Floyd telling her baby daddy Cory Wharton she’s pregnant, and more!

“At least we’d be able to keep an eye on who or what she welcomes into her home.”

During one part of the trailer, Amber mentions that Gary— with whom she shares daughter Leah— has proposed she move onto his land.

“He wants me to live on his land in a trailer,” Amber says in the clip. “Are you serious right now?”

“Like…how would we even fit my couch through the trailer door?”

While Amber considers becoming neighbors with her ex, viewers watch Cheyenne tell Cory that she’s expecting baby number 2.

“Sorry, Cory… Time to bring the focus back on me.”

As for Maci Bookout, she’s all about supporting Bentley this season as he attempts to grow closer to his dad, Ryan Edwards.

“You still want to go to therapy,” she asks Bentley in the clip. We then see the mom and son exchanging fist bumps.

“Same as usual, Bentley? Have a storyline about you but eventually make it all about me?”

Someone seemingly not quite as settled this season is Mackenzie McKee, who continues to battle it out with her husband, Josh.

“Go see what else is out there Josh,” she says in the clip. “I don’t even care anymore.”

“I’m sure Billy Bob’s has kept your barstool warm while you’ve been away.”

The preview also shows Catelynn Lowell masked up and working on some brows – sans therapy horse.

Props to that face shield for accommodating Cate’s side-bang so well.

This season, Catelynn and her husband Tyler Baltierra will also open up about pregnancy loss, as Catelynn revealed earlier this month that she suffered a miscarriage on Thanksgiving Day.

‘Teen Mom OG’ returns January 26 at 8 p.m. on MTV. Check out the first look below!

  1. It is devastating to try month after month & have your period come, so imagine the pain of getting your hopes up, getting that positive test& then the bleeding starts. As soon as you see the positive, your heart fills up for your baby, if you are actively trying. Her loss is genuine. She’s a ridiculous person, but her heartache is valid.

  2. I don’t understand Catelyn. I understand the tragedy of a mis-carriage. I’ve been there. But she only found out she was pregnant a day or two before her mis-carriage. I don’t understand how it can be so traumatic for her when she barely had time to absorb the fact that she was pregnant. Unless the tragedy solely lies in the fact that she has to now have sex with Tyler – Again! 🙄🙄 Everything for her is traumatic. And I agree, DON’T DO IT GARY!! You’re going to get a 30 year old child to take care of! Think of your wife and kids. You really wasn’t that psychotic bitch around them all the time?

  3. The whole franchise has totally jumped the shark. Unfortunately these grown women are celebrities now, so anything salacious that happens in their lives gets reported right away and by the time Mtv shows it it’s old news. Cheyenne and MacKenzie came on the show too late to garner any actual interest and the rest of the cast is just treading water. The only thing I like about the show now is seeing the kids grow up. Time for an overhaul with a completely new cast.

  4. DON’T DO IT, GARY!!! Keep Amber as far away from Leah as you can! Leah is NOT Amber’s emotional support animal!

  5. HA…Cheyenne had to definitely be pregnant, asking Ryder to a taste of her chocolate milk soaked french fry lol….other than that it looks like a pretty boring and repetitive season.
