Christeline Petersen wants fans to know she and her young daughters are OK.
The former Seeking Sister Wife star, who left the series after accusing her husband Dimitri Snowden and sister wife Ashley of domestic abuse, took to her private Instagram account Friday to provide fans with an update and thank them for their support, Starcasm is reporting.
“Words aren’t enough to express my gratitude to each and everyone of you,” Starcasm shared from Christeline’s posts. “I know you want to know if we’re ok and I appreciate you so much for that but there are simply things that I am not able to share at this time, I hope you can understand.”
The South Africa native and mother of two filed a restraining order against the Snowdens in March, alleging that both Dimitri and Ashley abused her. At the time, a judge granted a temporary order against Dimitri but not Ashley. The order was later dropped when a judge who ruled that Christeline did not have enough proof to back up her claims.
Since leaving the Snowdens earlier this year, Christeline and her children have been in hiding, according to Starcasm. In her Instagram messages, Christeline gave an update on their living situation.
“What I can tell you is that my girls are I are doing okay for now,” Starcasm shared from her posts. “The journey ahead of us is long and a little scary but I am keeping my head up and pushing through. We are in the process of finding new accommodation. If you’re in the California area and have some renting recommendations, please reach out.”
Ashley commented on the allegations against her and Dimitri on Instagram last month.
“Those who know me and my situation have given me so much love and support over the last couple months, and I’m so very grateful,” her post reads. “But I’m human. I’m a mother with children to look out for, and though I may not react to every little comment, listen to every rumor, or watch the videos, I know what’s being shared and I’m collecting the data.”

Ariadne Joseph and Vanessa Cobbs, two former Snowden sister wives, have stepped up to help Christeline and her children get back on their feet and maybe even return home to South Africa. The two have set up a GoFundMe that has raised more than $8,000 of its $10,000 goal at press time.
“I’ve recently become acquainted with this beautiful soul and she could really use our help,” the appeal reads. “Christeline Peterson and her two daughters are in dire need of clothing and other essentials and supplies as they have few possessions with them where they are at. After having endured severe domestic abuse at the hands of her Husband, she is now in hiding and fears for her life.”
Christeline ended her messages to fans with a promise of future updates and thanks for their continued support.
“I will update you as much as I can on how things are progressing with us,” Starcasm shared from her posts. “Again, thank you for everything you have done for me and my girls. May your kindness be returned to you a hundred times over. And when the time comes, I promise to turn the kindness you have shown me over to someone else in need. Please be safe and well.”
In addition to working to rebuild her life with her children, Christeline has more legal issues to face with the Snowdens. Dimitri filed for divorce in May, citing irreconcilable differences, People reported. The former couple married last July and separated in January.
Though they’ve been together for more than a decade, Dimitri and Ashley have never been legally married, instead opting for a spiritual marriage as they committed to a polygamous lifestyle, according to Distractify.

3 plane tickets from LAX to Johannesburg Africa total 6,500. And that’s booking for immediate travel and without price shopping.

Wow… please explain. I’m certain that I’d never move to a foreign country, at the start of a pandemic, (we know this because part of her storyline was when she caught one of the last flights out of Africa bf airports shut down), schlepping my 2 kids with me, when I have no source of income, in a foreighland and relying on virtual strangers for all my (and my kids) living expenses..
Why is it stupid to ask why she needs $10k when a flight home costs 1/2.
And she can file for divorce while living back in Africa. Given her citizenship status as being an African citizen her entire life, she can prove residence and e-file an international divorce decree.

It could be for anything. The bills she’s incurred while having to live in the States until her divorce is final, her court costs, the costs of her feeding her children, anything. It’s no one’s business. If you don’t like it, don’t donate. That’s it. Simple.
Well actually, when you go on a reality show.. and then another public platform to ask for money, the “it’s not your business excuse ” is invalid.
However, why is it so upsetting to you that I asked why/what’s the need for $10,000 when she can go home on less?

I hope that Christeline has healing and can be happy and remain strong for her children.
The adults in this mess all seem to have weird and shady agendas. While NO ONE deserves abuse of any kind, they all signed up for this relationship dynamic. The thing that is horrifying is that they all have very young children who are being exposed to this (alleged) abuse. No one seems to be putting the needs of their children first.
