Wedding bells rang this weekend for Are You The One? couple Clinton Moxam and Uche Nwosu!
The couple— who met while filming the sixth season of the MTV reality show in 2017— got married on Saturday in Chicago. The nuptials were attended by ‘AYTO’ alum Malcolm Drummer, Anthony Martin, Nicole Spiller, Alivia Hunter, Zoe Pugh, and Kam Williams. Leroy Garrett of The Challenge also made an appearance.
One day after the wedding, Clinton posted a sweet message to his new bride on Instagram.
“Thank you for choosing me, thank you for loving me, thank you for being you,” he wrote to Uche. “I love you, I’m the luckiest guy to have ever existed on this planet. People will never be able to understand your strength, how much you put up with and the ways in which you have absolutely changed my life. Let’s build this life together and allow the blessings to rain down as they always have. I love you Perfect #MoxMetHisMatch”
Uche also expressed her post-wedding sentiments to Clinton via Instagram.
“To know you is to love you, to be with you is a privilege, and to be your wife is the biggest honor of my life,” she wrote. “I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you .This past weekend has felt like a dream. So entirely grateful for all of our friends and family who joined us in celebrating us, we feel so blessed.”
Uche— who wore several gowns during the festivities— also posted footage and photos of the bouquet toss, the first dance and her and Clinton sharing a bite of their wedding cake.
“It’s the friends and family for me!” she wrote. “This day wasn’t only about us, but also about the people who have made us (and continue to make us) who we are today. My heart is so full.”
Clinton and Uche got engaged in June 2020, nearly three years to the day they met on ‘Are You The One?’
As fans of ‘Are You the One?’ may remember, Clinton and Uche entered the Truth Booth during Week 5 of their season, only to learn they were not a “perfect match.” At the end of the season, Clinton’s “perfect match” was revealed to be Geles Rodriguez and Uche’s was Joe Torgerson.
‘Are You The One?’ has produced several successful couples over its eight seasons. In addition to Uche and Clinton, three other couples from the show are still together. Ethan Diamond and Amber Lee of Season 1 have been married since 2014 and are the parents of two daughters.
Season 2’s Curtis Hadzicki and Jenni Knapmiller are still together, as are Cali Trepp and Tomas Buenos. Several other couples from the show remain together as well.
