‘Chrisley Knows Best’ & ‘Growing Up Chrisley’ Reportedly Cancelled; Todd Chrisley’s ‘Love Limo’ Dating Show Scrapped

“How will I afford to get my hair dyed, er…done?!”

The blows just keep coming for the Chrisley family.

Just one day after Todd and Julie Chrisley were received 12- and seven-year prison sentences, respectively, for tax evasion and bank fraud crimes, Deadline is reporting that all of the Chrisley family reality shows have been cancelled. That includes USA Network‘s Chrisley Knows Best, as well as Growing Up Chrisley, a spin-off focusing on Chase and Savannah Chrisley that was airing on E!

In addition, Love Limo, an E! dating show that was due to be hosted by Todd, has been scrapped.

‘Chrisley Knows Best’–which stars the entire family— was renewed for a 10th season earlier this year. According to Deadline, fans will get to see at least some new episodes that were filmed before Julie and Todd’s trial this summer. Those episodes will reportedly air sometime next year. (NBC Universal, which owns USA Network, has yet to comment on Deadline‘s story.)

As for ‘Growing Up Chrisley,’ the season that finished airing in October will reportedly be the show’s last.

“Nothing to worry about, huh? Pshhh…”

In May, it was announced that Todd would be hosting and executive-producing ‘Love Limo,’ a dating show that would see Todd helping people who are unlucky in love find a match through the help of speed dating.

The series will see Todd-– who is also serving as an executive producer on the show–- guiding an unlucky in love single through speed dating.

According to the description released in May for the show, Todd was an integral part of ‘Love Limo,’ so it’s no surprise that it’s been canned.

“When it comes to matters of the heart, singles are willing to do almost anything to find love, even if that anything is putting their dating life into the hands of Todd Chrisley,” The Wrap reported at the time.

“In the new series ‘Love Limo,’ hosted and executive produced by Todd Chrisley, he guides one unlucky-in-love single on a whirlwind day of speed dating that will hopefully end in the date night and match of their dreams. Todd believes you can learn everything you need to know about someone else in the first 20 minutes of meeting them and he’s about to put that theory to the test.”

“Maybe I can do this show in prison? I’ll bet MTV would air it. They’ll air anything…”

In court documents obtained by The Ashley, both Todd argued that the film crews for their TV shows would suffer if Todd and Julie were sent to the slammer.

“Scores of people who are employed in the production and filming of the Chrisley television shows will be harmed when he is incarcerated,” they wrote in a sentencing memo response filed before Monday’s hearing. “All of these considerations are appropriate when determining a reasonable sentence for Todd
Chrisley…”

As for Todd and Julie’s popular Chrisley Confessions podcast, they have said in the past that, should they become unable to do the podcast due to them going to prison or whatnot, that Chase and Savannah would take over hosting duties for them

Todd and Julie are due to report to prison in January 2023.

  1. The Chrisleys are awful. They apparently had no remors, even during court proceedings, for any of the financial crimes they committed. Todd have said disgusting things about his own child, Lindsey.

Yet there are people, like the country singer Raelynn, that are defending them and acting like the Chrisleys did nothing wrong! They are con artists.

  2. Also, to all those who have rightly pointed out the disparity in the criminal justice system that would send Josh Duggar to jail for roughly the same amount of time as Todd….. well, you never will win at defrauding a bank. And it was the IRS that finally put Jimmy Hoffa in prison.

You will never, ever, ever succeed at defrauding a bank or the IRS. Their memory is long and their retribution is harsh.

  3. Man, why are they so stubborn and prideful, refusing to own any of their misdeeds? Life is changing in the hardest ways right now and that’s very unfortunate for their children whom hold no responsibility but all of the burden of their decisions.

I hope that Todd and Julie will find humility and forgiveness from the God they claim to worship. It’s easy to ask God to carry us in our hard times but he can’t carry those who deny the burden.

I think it’s extremely admirable that Savannah is stepping up to raise her siblings. That will be extremely difficult and I hope she is given the support she requires. A lot of people who could have offered support will turn their backs on Savannah, Grayson and Chloe. I hope that Chase, Lindsey, and Kyle will carry some of the stress for Savannah. I’m glad they will get to be together for the holidays and I hope Todd and Julie will face the consequences with dignity and not add more to their children.

I hate to even throw this thought out but it did cross my mind that the news of Grayson’s accident could be some kind of trick to sway the court in their favor, or that maybe Grayson made a really horrible, split second decision to end his pain. I hope and pray that I am wrong and way out in left field with these thoughts, though.

    1. I have wondered about Grayson’s accident as well. Regardless, I suspect Savannah, Grayson and Chloe are going to have a very rough go of it. Savannah is only 25 years old but will need to step in as a mother to her younger siblings until they are both able to take care of themselves. That’s likely going to be 10+ years during which she’ll need to put her own life aside and focus on those kids. The whole thing breaks my heart.

  4. I mean they aren’t going to film from prison.😬

You can tell the Chrisley’s are throwing crap against the wall hoping something sticks. They couldn’t go to prison because they have minor children. (I’m sure a lot of prisoners have minor children but we should make an exception for them?!🙄) Now it’s that there will be too many people unemployed. Like working with the Chrisley’s are the one and only job that they are qualified for and now no one will hire them.

They are on a reality TV show, they aren’t special. They don’t deserve special consideration. Just like the Guidice’s who thought they were above the law or the countless Teen Mom’s that owe hundreds of thousands in back taxes. It’s ridiculous. Maybe don’t break the law?
