It’s a Boy! ‘Flip or Flop’ Star Tarek El Moussa & ‘Selling Sunset’ Star Heather Rae Young Welcome First Child Together

“Get ready for a ton of flipping baby content!”

Another flipping El Moussa has arrived!

Tarek El Moussa and wife Heather Rae Young announced the birth of their first child Thursday. The couple’s baby boy was born January 31.

“Our baby boy is here. 1.31.23,” Tarek wrote on Instagram. “Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy.”

The former Flip or Flop star– who also shares two children– Taylor and Brayden– with ex-wife and former co-host Christina Halltold Us Weekly, “becoming a father for the third time is just as exciting as it was the first time.”

“Our baby boy is doing amazing and Heather was a rockstar during labor,” he continued. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tay and Bray as happy as they were when they met their little brother.”

The stars of HGTV’s The Flipping El Moussas announced last summer that they were expecting their first child together, which was a surprise to the couple, as they were in the middle of in vitro fertilization treatments at the time. Tarek and Heather said they had planned to implant an embryo in the fall when they found out they were expecting.

“It was a huge shock,” Heather said at the time. “We just weren’t expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan … I think when you least expect it and there’s no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be. I’m so excited it happened like this.”

Tarek and Heather tied the knot in October 2021 after announcing their engagement in July 2020.
