Kalani Faagata revealed last year that she had finally had enough of her marriage to Asuelu Pulaa, and the mom of two says she’s now had enough of 90 Day Fiance fans accusing her of cheating on her then-spouse.
As you may remember, Kalani and Asuelu’s troubled relationship came to a head last year on 90 Day: The Last Resort after Asuelu admitted to cheating on Kalani multiple times throughout their marriage.
It was then revealed on the show that, in an effort to make amends with his wife, Asuelu offered Kalani a “hall pass” to kiss another man, which she ultimately decided to do. Kalani confessed that the kiss led to more and that she ended up catching feelings for the mystery man, who was later revealed to be 28-year-old Dallas Nuez.
Kalani– who is still in a relationship with Dallas– took to social media for a Q&A over the weekend, during which she denied being unfaithful to Asuelu after a fan asked if she was “still with that guy [she] cheated with.”
Kalani explained that, although it played out on TV like she cheated, that wasn’t what happened in “real life.”
“I didn’t cheat,” Kalani said in the clip, reposted by @kimmy_robinson_66 on Instagram. “In my actual real life, which is what we’re going to address right now, OK? Everything went bad with my marriage [in] November of 2022– [I] dipped, immediately, because I had had enough at that point– and then after, [I] met Dallas.
“So, two separate men, two separate times,” she continued. “Never at the same time, because I don’t cheat. I’m not a cheater.”
Kalani went on to say that while she “gets” why people may assume she cheated on Asuelu, she insists that wasn’t the case.
“It’s just f**king annoying to get harassed about like every single day,” she added. “Again, I understand, but in my actual life, I didn’t f**king cheat. I’m not a wh0re, thank you so much.”
Kalani went on to clarify what viewers saw on “90 Day: The Last Resort” regarding the episode she left the resort-– where she had been staying in a room separate from Asuelu–- to go meet up with her “side man” (aka Dallas), after he traveled to Florida to visit her off-camera.
“ … I went to Florida [to film ‘Last Resort’] in January 2023– I was with one person at the time,” she said, referring to Dallas, not Asuelu.
This isn’t the first time Kalani has attempted to clear her name regarding the cheating rumors in her marriage to Asuelu. Back in August–- when ‘The Last Resort’ was airing on TLC–- she posted a video on Instagram with the text, “POV: You took the hallpass.”
“It’s okay when he does it, it’s a problem when I do it?” Kalani captioned the video.

I’ll criticize both of them. He’s a POS for cheating (well, he’s generally a POS anyway, even aside from that aspect), but she’s not any better, even if she only cheated with one man. Cheating is still cheating at the end of the day. I’m a firm believer that one needn’t even have sex to cheat on a partner, too, though.
If your marriage/relationship sucks, for whatever reason, get the hell out of it (and yes I understand sometimes that can be difficult-it’s still what is needed). I wouldn’t, and don’t, judge anyone who leaves a relationship they don’t want to be in. I don’t even need to know the reason, the fact that they don’t want to be in it, is enough. Once you’re out, move on and do you, you owe it to yourself to be happy. Moving on while still in it is a recipe for disaster and may very well make someone look like a hypocrite.
But that’s not what she did. She pretended to be working on the marriage while sleeping with someone else and having that person travel to where she was filming this fake fix our marriage BS. Now she’s trying to retract it. Say you messed up and move on. Denying it is just stupid, considering the proof is already out there.
She’s only really denying it now because it behooves her to try and stay relevant to keep getting that 90DF money. It bothers her that she’s getting called out for something she only did with one guy, versus what the POS did with multiple women. They still both cheated in the end, though.
The easiest solution to her problem, is to not go on a tv show a year later pretending to work on her marriage. A marriage she said was over in real life. Move on and stop trying to get attention from the 90 day franchise. Pretty simple. Asuelo absolutely sucks, but people will still come for her because she went on a tv show claiming the exact opposite of what she is now.
He literally cheated on her throughout their ENTIRE relationship. People are seriously criticizing HER? Loooord. Let the girl live.
