“90 Day Fiance” Star Vanessa Guerra Confirms Split From Husband Colt Johnson: “I Wasn’t in Love Anymore”

That cat is living with Colt out of the bag.

Coltee Johnson is a single man once more.

After months of speculation and rumors of infidelity (on Colt’s part), Colt’s wife and former 90 Day Fiance co-star Vanessa Guerra confirmed on social media Friday that she and the spawn of Mother Debbie Johnson have ended their marriage.

In a Q&A on her Instagram Story, Vanessa first shut down the rumor that Colt had cheated on her, before going on to reveal that she had “left him over a month ago.”

When asked what led to the split, Vanessa admitted that she “wasn’t in love anymore.”

Fans of “90 Day Fiance” were first introduced to Vanessa back in Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, on which she appeared as Colt’s friend. The following year, Colt and Vanessa made their debut as a couple on Season 1 of 90 Day: The Single Life. The pair went on to secretly marry in February 2021.

As The Ashley previously told you, Colt and Vanessa were slated to appear last year on Season 1 of 90 Day: The Last Resort, but were replaced at the last minute after Colt sustained severe injuries jumping on a trampoline while filming in December 2022. As a result of the accident, Colt was hospitalized for weeks, underwent multiple surgeries and at one point, was wheelchair-bound and on a catheter.

When a fan accused her last week of leaving Colt as a result of the 2022 trampoline accident, Vanessa insisted that was not the case.

“I stuck by him through all of his surgeries until they were completely over with,” she replied. “Nothing to do with that.”

(Vanessa previously called out Sharp Entertainment–- the production company behind the “90 Day Fiance” franchise–- for allegedly failing to check in on Colt after his injury, as well as leaving him with $250,000 in medical bills.)

When asked if she and Colt have remained friends after breaking up, Vanessa joked that it “depends on the day.”

She did, however, insist that there was no chance of the two rekindling their romance.

“He needs to work on himself before being with anybody,” she wrote.

Vanessa–- who confirmed that she will be living in Reno, Nevada, at least until next month–- told followers she is “definitely at peace” with her decision to end things with Colt and that she has been keeping herself busy post-breakup. She also revealed that she is currently in therapy.

Despite being single again, Vanessa said she isn’t planning to appear on any “90 Day Fiance” spin-offs in the future, claiming she was hesitant to be on the show in the first place.

“I don’t feel a relationship can succeed being on that show,” she wrote. “I knew I shouldn’t have done it, but went with it out of stupidity anyway.”

After Vanessa posted about the breakup (and wiped her Instagram clean of all photos of her estranged husband), Colt ended his years-long break from Instagram by posting about his dog. In the caption of the post, he did not mention Vanessa or split.

“I feel very fortunate I can take my dog, Loki, to doggy day camp,” Colt wrote. “He gets very excited and I feel like I am taking my son to school. Life is full of little wonders, joys and excitement. I hope everyone feels blessed today.”

  1. I don’t get that explanation for a divorce. You don’t just give up and clock out because the spark disappears after 3 years of marriage. You work at it. Why even bother getting married?

    1. I don’t think she needs to disclose any information as to why her marriage ended honestly. I don’t share why I divorced my ex and I’m not in the public eye. It’s just not anyone’s business. So to say she fell out of love should be enough for everyone.
