Amy Duggar King, niece of Jim Bob Duggar and cousin to all 19 of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s blessings children, will share her “unfiltered testimony of breaking free” in her new memoir, Holy Disruptor: Shattering the Shiny Facade While Getting Louder with the Truth.
According to People, Amy’s tell-all will be released this fall from HarperCollins Christian Publishing, more than a year after the 38-year-old married mom of one revealed to the outlet that she was using writing to process the many controversies surrounding her infamous family.
In the official description for her upcoming book, Amy– who made multiple appearances on both 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On over the years– assures readers that even if they’ve been silenced, they can still “find [their] God-given voice.”
Amy has spoken out about some of the Duggar controversies over the years, including calling out members of her family who chose to write letters in support of her cousin Josh Duggar prior to his 2022 sentencing for receiving child sex abuse materials (CSAM). She also appeared in Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets– the scathing docuseries about the Duggars that was released on Prime Video in 2023.
“Overbearing leadership, toxic environments, unfair standards and unrealistic expectations,” the description reads. “There are many ways that people abuse, manipulate and silence others. The worst part is the abuser is often someone you love.”
The synopsis for Holy Disruptor goes on to mention the “Crazy Cousin Amy” nickname that Amy was allegedly “forced to live into,” as well as the fact that she had her “authentic voice taken from her” when told by her family to put on a “shiny, happy smile for the camera.”
“The gaslighting continued as she was told off-camera, ‘You’re too much’ and ‘You’re not enough,’” the book’s description continues, before describing how Amy “intentionally dissociated from the toxic family environment, which has helped her discover how to be a ‘holy disruptor.’”
With her book, Amy promises to teach readers how to trust their instincts, “see clearly in a fog of lies” and to both unearth and use their authentic voice.
“God loves you, and he’s given you an authentic voice to use for his glory,” the synopsis states. “No matter what you’ve been told or how you’ve been manipulated in the past, freedom is waiting for you today. It’s time to use your voice.”
While Amy has distanced herself from many members of the Duggar family over the years, she has maintained a close relationship with her cousin Jill Duggar Dillard. Jill took to social media on Tuesday to share her excitement about Amy’s upcoming book, telling her cousin that she looks forward to reading her story.
“Love you,” Jill commented on the Instagram post announcing Amy’s memoir. “You are brave & are a voice for many. I look forward to reading your story.”
As fans of the Duggar clan know, Jill and husband Derick Dillard penned a tell-all of their own in 2023, Counting the Cost, in which they recounted what they claimed to be the real story behind Jill’s family and their TLC shows.
Holy Disruptor: Shattering the Shiny Facade While Getting Louder with the Truth will be released October 14. The book is currently available for preorder.

Over on reddit DuggarSnark sub where the quotes in this article are pulled from we call her Famy. She just wants attention. Like a month ago she claimed her husband was in the ICU to People Magazine and then not even a week later she posted a picture of him drinking and smoking weed. She was never IBLP.
Why does she think she is relevant?
I’m excited to read her perspective on the family.But at the same time, the company did her dirty, they picked a really bad picture of her which sucks because she’s so pretty
