From getting hurt to getting criticized by fans, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Catelynn Lowell’s Brother Gives Scary Update on Butch Baltierra

It’s been years since ‘Teen Mom’ fans have heard an update on Butch— the father of Tyler Baltierra— and in a recent livestream, Butch’s former stepson Nick Radtke revealed the recent medical mishap Butch is dealing with.
Nick— who is somewhat estranged from his sister Catelynn Lowell— decided to tell the story about Butch, despite it seeming like Cate didn’t want it to go public.
“I don’t care if my sister gets mad at me,” he said. “Butch blew himself up recently.”
Nick went on to talk about an accident that nearly took Butch’s arm.
“He was lighting a propane tank or something,” Nick began.

“He lit something next to a propane tank and it blew his f**king arm off,” Nick said, clarifying that Butch’s arm was not severed, luckily.
“His arm’s still connected, but [the explosion], like, ruined his skin,” he said. “He had to get skin grafts. It was crazy.”
Nick also reported that Butch is still living near Austin, Texas, and is dating a really rich woman. The Ashley can find no legal trouble for Butch over the past few years.
Kail Lowry Says Her Fans Are Tired of Her; Announces Plans to “Go Dark” Following Her Live Tour

Kail says her fans are over-saturated with her, so she’s planning to give them a break so that they’ll like her again.
During the most-recent episode of her Karma & Chaos podcast, Kail told her co-host, Becky Hayter, that she realizes that people are over her at the moment, so she’s planning to take a step back soon. (As The Ashley has reported, Kail is currently doing her live Fatherless Behavior Tour, in addition to hosting multiple podcasts and running her KILLR podcast network.)
“I think my audience, I think, has some Kail fatigue and after tour I’m going to go dark for about a month,” Kail said. “I just need to take some time off.
“I need my audience to love me again after and they probably will need a break from me for a while,” she added.

Over the past month or so, Kail has received plenty of criticism online for her podcasts, particularly since her Coffee Convos podcast co-host, Lindsie Chrisley, disappeared from the public eye since her arrest for DUI in May. Lindsie has not appeared on any of her podcasts since then and has not provided the fans with any explanation as to why. Kail has done her best to maintain Coffee Convos without Lindsie, but on Monday Kail was pelted in the comment section of a post made to the podcast’s Instagram account.
The post mentioned that the podcast had run an “encore” episode for the week of July 4, something fans were clearly unhappy about.
“I have listened faithfully since the beginning but I am over this,” one person wrote about the podcast. “We deserve an explanation at this point. I’m done with this show.”
“Lmao, this podcast has run its course,” another person wrote. “They need to get their lives together.”
A large majority of listeners also wrote that they were “tired of the encores” and called Kail and Lindsie out for thinking they could get by with running reruns on their various podcasts and not giving fans an explanation as to why.

Meanwhile, Kail was in the comment section of the post, fighting for her life and responding to many of the people by insisting Coffee Convos had only done one rerun show in weeks.
“I have recorded the last five episodes brand new,” Kail responded to one nay-sayer. “The encore was for the holiday.”
When someone else wrote that Kail “doesn’t care” if her fans are unhappy, the official podcast account responded that, “Kail does care. She reads all the feedback and does her best to juggle it and incorporate it. But holidays/life happens and reruns occur sometimes.”
Others stuck up for Kail for keeping all of her podcasts afloat, despite Lindsie’s absence.

“I’m…very over Lindsie but Kail has really shown up the past few weeks on Coffee Convos! Between touring and recording, at least she’s present,” a person wrote.
“Girl, hang it up,” someone else commented. “Come back when @lindsiechrisley is ready to acknowledge her mistakes, take accountability and move on. Hiding at the beach will do nothing for you babes.”
As of press time, Kail and Lindsie have not revealed when Lindsie will return or why she is M.I.A. from the podcasts.
Debra Danielsen Addresses Her Daughter Farrah Abraham’s Past Claims of Having an Abusive Childhood:

Debra is calling “BS” on claims her daughter Farrah has made over the years about how she was abused— emotionally, physically and more— when she was a child.
During her recent livestream with Catelynn’s brother Nick, Debz was asked to address claims that Farrah has made in the past about growing up in an abusive household. (In 2023, Debra— as well as Farrah’s best friend from high school Tyler— discussed Farrah’s tendency to claim “abuse” when she wants attention.)
“I call bulls**t on [Farrah’s claims that she was abused] because Farrah came from a privileged background,” Debra told Nick during the livestream. “She was flown all over the world, and she had everything that she ever wanted. She made things up that were not true, I think, to get sympathy and to get viewership and to get a following.
“So, believe me, she didn’t come from any kind of turmoil. She didn’t come from any kind of bad things happening to her,” Debra said, later adding that Farrah turned into an insufferable monster the person she currently is because of “her medical situation.”
“She had a medical problem…” Debra said.

Debra later said that hearing Farrah talk about having an “abusive childhood” is hurtful.
“Her version of what went down, coming up in a family where you had love, you had good relationships, and just trashing all of that and acting like everybody has done you wrong, it was an insult to everybody. And I just think it was not proper,” Debra said. “It’s heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking.”
Debra admitted that it’s been over five years since she’s spoken to Farrah or Farrah’s daughter Sophia. While she didn’t seem to care about making amends with Farrah anymore, she did state that she misses Sophia.
“Sophia, if you’re watching this, grandma’s here and she loves you!” Deb called out.

Jenelle Evans’ Sister Ashleigh Accuses Her of Being a Demonic Witch & Shape-Shifter Since Getting Back with David Eason

The battle of the Evans Sisters rages on, with both Jenelle and her sis Ashleigh coming out swinging on X this week. Each had plenty of accusations to make about the other, but Ashleigh’s most-recent claims about Jenelle were just downright weird (even for Jenelle & Co.!)
As The Ashley has previously told you, Jenelle and Ashleigh have been estranged— and fighting on The Interwebs— for years. While Jenelle is not currently on speaking terms to their mother, Barbara, Ashleigh has maintained a close relationship with Babs. Over the past few weeks, the sisters have been sparring online about everything from who did ballet (seriously) to whose knee is more damaged.
As you do…
On Tuesday, Ashleigh took things to a spooktastic new level when she accused Jenelle of being a witch, a demon and a shape shifter. She insisted that Jenelle’s latest, um, “shift” has happened due to her getting back with her swamp-rific ex, David Eason.
“My sister witch/demon really is showing she’s a shape-shifter,” Ashleigh declared on X. “She’s shifted to a demon/witch after getting back with David under his spell. Instead of ignoring posts. Shadows of her demons are showing. She needs to get away from him, she’s shape-shifting in Demon form again.”

When someone on X told Ashleigh that the best way to deal with Jenelle is via the courts, and advised her not to engage with her online, Ashleigh stated that she is holding herself back from saying everything she wants to say about her sis.
“It’s definitely not in my character to say odd bizarre things like this online,” Ashleigh replied. “I will say though it is what it is. I could’ve said something more vicious or really mean but that’s not my character. There are things I wish I could say but I won’t.”
Jenelle has not yet responded to Ashleigh’s demon claims, but a few days earlier, Jenelle accused her sister of relying on both Barbara and the government for everything she has.

“Ashleigh…. You’ve been on government assistance your whole life, you get Section 8 and, in return, give it back to Mom for the house Mom owns,” Jenelle wrote on X. “Not to mention Mom paying for your lawyer to keep your kid which you lost, and she bought you a car. You had it easy, and still do…
“And again my family is surviving off the money I got for them from signing up to a MTV show,” Jenelle added.

It feels like Deb is always hideing behind the fact that they had money. Money doesn’t stop abuse. In this case i believe Farrah. You don’t turn out like her if you had a good childhood and Deb is forgetting thar we saw abuse on the show.
Having money definitely doesn’t negate abuse from happening. I don’t know if Farrah is being truthful, exaggerating or lying about it but I definitely think that was a very dysfunctional family whether there was abuse or not. Debra was pretty controlling and crazy. She completely dismissed Farrah’s feelings about Sophia’s dad’s death. And that wasn’t according to Farrah. Everyone saw it in the early seasons of Teen Mom. I can completely understand why Farrah resents her for that. However, that’s not a free pass for Farrah’s attitude and how she treats people.
To be fair, Ashleigh probably meant all that as a metaphor but it came out like some Dungeons and Dragons stuff lol.
I like Kail’s podcasts even though I don’t really like her. I like hearing about her chaotic life, and look forward to it every week. The breadcrumbing is annoying though and if she goes in a different direction I’ll probably stop listening altogether. What would be REALLY interesting would be for her to do podcasts with counsellors, life coaches, etc. to talk some sense into her though
Why does kail have fans? What exactly are they a fan of? What kind of example is she really for young girls? Anyone can look semi decent with money, and that’s all she needed to get to where she is.
Don’t rush back Kail.
Suzi told you about absence and all, years ago
Sorry Kail,
Society doesn’t like you. You’d need a personality transplant to change that. I thibk it’s funny that Jenelle id trying to dis Ashleigh for section 8. Jenelle went back to a man with felony charges for strangling her son. Jenelle will always be a shittier guman
