Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor took their co-parenting complaints to the Interwebs over the weekend after Jax slammed his soon-to-be ex-wife for allegedly being a neglectful parent to their son– an allegation that Brittany vehemently denies.
As fans of ‘The Valley’ know, Brittany and Jax are still somehow in the process of terminating their marriage. The former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars are also (clearly) still working out the kinks in their co-parenting relationship for five-year-old son Cruz, who was diagnosed with non-verbal autism in late 2024.
Over the weekend, Jax– who confirmed his relationship with Brittany’s now former publicist Lori Krebs last month– posted (and quickly deleted) a screenshot of an email he recently sent to Brittany calling her out for various claims she made on her podcast about their son. Jax kicked off his lengthy email by telling Brittany she was “so full of sh*t” for telling podcast listeners that Cruz was starting kindergarten this year, as she allegedly failed to follow up with recommendations they received from Cruz’s doctor after his autism diagnosis two years ago. Jax insisted in his email that he was the one who “looked into things” regarding their son’s education, which is the only reason that Cruz started attending preschool.
“ … Cruz would have never been enrolled at school or the [Individualized Education Program] (IEP) if it wasn’t for me,” Jax spiraled wrote. “I have all the receipts for everything. I booked all his appointments that you failed to do and was the one [to] get him signed up in the school system.”
Jax went on to ask Brittany why she doesn’t understand that Cruz is not starting kindergarten this year, and will instead be “put in a special needs program like he should have been [put in] years ago.”
“He isn’t going to kindergarten Brittany my god the lies you say sounding like a complete idiot,” he wrote.
Jax also raked Brittany over the coals for publicly “preaching” the importance of early intervention, while not taking the necessary steps to get Cruz enrolled in certain programs– some of which, Jax claimed, are provided at no cost to California residents.
“Going on your podcast about how important early intervention is when you have done nothing but neglected Cruz’s needs is sick you are a joke just wait until I speak and show all the receipts and people hear the truth,” Jax wrote. “Maybe then you will actually do [something] for our son because all you care about is people thinking you’re an amazing mother and I am a bad father.”

Later in the email, Jax again slammed Brittany for talking about the importance of early intervention, despite “[failing] to do it for [her] own son.” He went on to claim that Cruz– who is mostly non-verbal– has only been enrolled in speech classes and occupational therapy “for a couple [of] hours each week.” Jax also claimed to have receipts to prove that he’s been “begging” Brittany to enroll Cruz in a “specialized program or school for kids with autism” for years, including in 2025 when he was in rehab.
“ … you claimed [Cruz] was starting school last August and that it was all handled and that I need to stay [out] of it,” Jax wrote. “All proof in texts. I believed you for years and once my mental health was better I realized everything you were telling me was a lie and so I contacted the [schools] and doctors myself. You are a joke. Keep talking and lying it’s giving my lawyers more to add to their file … .”
As his virtual tirade continued, Jax accused Brittany of keeping Cruz from him out of anger and claimed that Cruz’s (seemingly ever-present) nanny told him that Brittany won’t allow him to have Cruz, even when Brittany is out of town. He then sarcastically encouraged Brittany to keep painting herself “as this amazing mother.”
After warning Brittany that the truth will come out “very soon,” Jax accused Brittany of “playing [the] victim,” threatening him, trying to destroy him and using his past actions– namely those while he was in active addition– to squander business opportunities he’s been offered. Jax noted that he’s “been sober now for 1 year and 8 months,” yet Brittany continues to contact brands and drag him publicly to prevent him from working.

Jax concluded his rage-filled rant by trying to convince Brittany to allow his girlfriend Lori to be around Cruz, as she’s been around him his whole life and has babysat him on multiple occasions. Jax also noted that Lori is “a mother and [is] experienced with autism.” He then berated Brittany for allowing a “random man”– presumably her ex-boyfriend Brandon Hanson– and “God knows who else” to sleep at their home, despite their agreement to not introduce Cruz to their respective partners within the first six months of dating.
“More lies yet again and doing things not in the best interest [of] Cruz,” Jax wrote. “I’ve kept my mouth shut for 3 years, begged you to go to therapy to work on coparenting [yet] you refused and also cancelled with my therapist the morning after Zack [Wickham]’s party because you were hungover yet again.”
Brittany went on to comment on @myfamilygenie’s screenshot of Jax’s email, asking that the account “delete this nonsense.” She also took the comment section of another post to refute many of the claims Jax made about her and her parenting.

“I’ve had Cruz in special therapies since he was 2 years old,” Brittany claimed. “I hired a Therapeutic companion to go to preschool with him. I got his IEP plan all on my own. I hired an advocate to help me navigate this new process I am learning. I have made Cruz my first priority in every single way and I always will.”
Brittany insisted that she’s “an advocate for families on the spectrum,” including her own, which is why she made Cruz “an entire sensory room” in her home, which allows him to “regulate like he does in occupational therapy.” Brittany also said that she is the one who makes every school and medical appointment for Cruz, not Jax.
“This is projection coming from him and it’s so sad he would put personal stuff about our son like that on social media even [though] he deleted it immediately because it is full of lies,” Brittany wrote. “He wanted to try to make me look how he feels on the inside.
“He knows I’m a good mom and Cruz is thriving and he can’t stand it,” she continued. “It’s sick.”
Despite their ongoing feud, Jax and Brittany did reach a custody agreement for Cruz in March, which includes a number of restrictions, including one that forbids the Bravo stars from being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs while their son is in their care. They also agreed to joint legal custody and responsibility when it comes to making decisions for Cruz’s health, education and general welfare. In the event that the historically contentious pair are unable to come to an agreement on these decisions, Brittany is to have the final say.
‘The Valley’ Season 3 Reunion concludes Wednesday on Bravo.
