Former ‘Teen Mom 2’ kid Elliott Rivera will soon have another sibling in his family, though for the first time in years, it won’t be his mom Kail Lowry giving birth.
On Tuesday, Elliott’s stepmom, Vee Torres– who has been married to Elliott’s dad, Jo Rivera, since 2018– surprised fans on social media by revealing that she’s currently pregnant with her and Jo’s second child.
“A little piece of our lives we’ve been holding close to our hearts,” Vee posted to Instagram. “The last few months have been filled with so many emotions, so much love, and the sweetest little secret. Watching the people we love find out, seeing [our daughter] Vivi’s reaction, and realizing our family is growing all over again… these are moments I’ll never forget. Our next chapter is already my favorite one!”
Along with her caption, Vee shared a video that featured some of her favorite moments from the summer, as well as some friends and family reacting to the news of her pregnancy. One of the reactions included was that of Vee and Jo’s 10-year-old daughter Vivi, who became emotional after learning that she will soon become a big sister.
In the comment section of Vee’s post, followers shared their congratulations, while noting that Vee has maintained for years that she and Jo didn’t plan to have any more children.
“Oh girl [the story is] coming,” Vee replied to one of the (many) comments mentioning her past remarks.
Elsewhere in the comments, Vee confirmed that she took out her IUD earlier this year, even admitting to one of her followers that she didn’t think she would get pregnant so fast.
“I really wanted to regulate my body first haha,” Vee added.
Other comments on Vee’s post mentioned Jo’s mom, Janet Montalvo’s, visible excitement to the couple’s pregnancy news, to which Vee revealed that her mother-in-law didn’t immediately understand that Vee was pregnant, resulting in a “hilarious” reaction.
“Oh no, not when my friend common sense and IQ had left the building because I was too drunk on love to hear what I was reading. All while you were recording,” Janet replied to Vee’s comment. “Seriously I am truly blessed to have another bundle of joy in my already amazing life. I can’t wait to meet my grandbaby.”
“Super elated!” Janet also commented on the post. “Grandma is so in love already.”
After posting her announcement on Tuesday, Vee took to her Instagram Story to share some more details about her pregnancy, while revealing that she’s heading into her 13th week and has been very sick.
“ … I was so nervous posting that video, I think just because I’ve been in my little bubble for a while,” Vee said. “The first trimester has been the worst time of my life. I really don’t have easy pregnancies. With Vivi it was bad, but this one has been even worse. Like, for the past two months I’ve just been literally in the trenches. I’m finally starting to feel a little better. I’m medicated, because I had to get medicated for my nausea.”
Later in her Instagram Story, Vee told followers that she had to go to the emergency room a week ago; however, she didn’t confirm whether or not it was due to the nausea she’d been experiencing. She also admitted that, while she’s “so f**king happy” to be expecting her second child, she’s also nervous.
“ … I haven’t had a newborn baby in, like, 10 years … I feel like so much has changed,” she explained. “It’s literally like I’m starting over, like, with no experience almost, because everything is so different. I’m a little nervous and also intimidated … .”
Vee revealed that she and Jo will be finding out the gender of the baby soon.
Jo and Vee’s big news comes just weeks after Kail doubled down on her claim that Elliott doesn’t have a relationship with his stepmom. (As you may remember, Kail made this claim after Vee posted a video of her and her family– which includes stepson Elliott– on vacation at Disney World.)
It also comes a few months after the mom of seven implied that Jo is “not really involved” with Elliott.
At this time, Kail– who co-hosted a podcast with Vee for years before the two had a falling out in 2024– has yet to comment on the news of Jo and Vee’s growing family. (Interestingly, Elliott has not commented on the post, either.)

I’m really happy for them! Vee and Jo are raising a wonderful, stable, mature and beautiful family!!!!! I haven’t seen Vivi for years, she’s so pretty! Vee is literally Teflon to Kail’s shade, so it’s going to be fun watching how annoyed Kail gets trying to pretend that she’s not annoyed.
It is SO like Kail that she came after Vee likely knowing she is pregnant. She cannot stand other people’s happiness.
I’d be surprised if they told her ahead of time seeing as how she runs her mouth about other people’s business.
But, they would have told Elliot. He’s obviously going to say something to his mom. It explains why she felt the need to suddenly go after Vee.

Probably because Vee wasn’t trying to have kail make this announcement about her
She probably did that so Kail wouldn’t go after her and say she only included Elliot for the views! Just like the Disney TikTok even though she says she didn’t say that because of that.
It’s a pregnancy announcement video with the caption being about the reaction from friends and family. That is obviously different than a dumb video at Disney. Obviously. It’s wild to not show both siblings. But I guess Kailyn has to always be wrong, so.
This is a no-win situation then. She included him and has had to deal with prolonged drama over it. And now if she doesn’t include him, that’s a problem too?

At least Jo has the same baby mama as baby #2!!!! Unlike Kail from Hell who spreads her legs for any and every Tom, Dick and Harry that is willing to enter her and has 7 kids with 4 men? I look for her to have 6 more with 3 probably 4 men, all boys…so that she has a basketball team and Valley girl can be the one and only cheerleader.
Try again, this would be kid 3 for him. Elliot being his first with Kail and then two with Vee.

Read my comment again…i said that “at least Jo has the same baby mama as baby #2″…i know that he’s got a different baby mama for the first as opposed to 2 and 3…unlike Kail who wasn’t able to give her kids the stability of the same bd…its not in her DNA.

Is this why Kail has been crashing out over Vee? This kind of explains why Kail decided to go after Vee for no apparent reason.
