Jenelle Evans recently regaled her followers with the tale of how— and why— she broke up with her ex-husband-turned-boyfriend David Eason in August. While the ‘Teen Mom’ star claimed that she only threatened to call the cops on David after their blow-up fight, The Ashley can recall that there was, indeed, a 911 call placed by Jenelle on the day she kicked Big Dave out of her Florida home.

According to the call audio exclusively obtained by The Ashley, Jenelle made the call early in the morning on August 18, asking that the Sheriff’s Department send a “police escort” to her home. The 911 operator seemed to be confused as to what Jenelle was asking for. (Apparently her new town in Florida isn’t used to people having 911 on speed dial to handle all of their disputes.)

“I have my ex-boyfriend here and he was here ‘coparenting’ with me,” Jenelle begins. “Now, um, we got into a little bit of an argument. And I told him, I said, ‘You need to get out. Move out. My [name] is on the lease.”

Jenelle then claimed that David was trying to “take everything” from her.

“He’s trying to say, ‘Oh, this is mine, this is mine,'” Jenelle told the 911 operator. “We just got divorced recently. Everything has been settled in court already.”

Jenelle then hesitates before admitting, “He’s not even supposed to even, um, be here.” 

(This is, of course, a reference to the active no-contact order Jenelle has against David. She has had it since 2024, had been choosing to ignore it for the previous eight months while David was shacking up with her.) 

Later in the call, Jenelle explains that she “didn’t hesitate” to call 911 this time, due to her “history with him and how things can escalate even worse than this. I didn’t want it to escalate. [I was] like, ‘Stop it right now and you need to get out.'”

Jenelle goes on to accuse David of trying to take her stuff along with whatever possessions he has. That’s when Big Dave pipes in and can be heard shouting at Jenelle in the background, asking her, “Where’s my keys?!” 

“It’s just verbal at this point but he’s calling me a lot of names. He’s torn up my purse and now he’s dumping everything out of my purse,” Jenelle says before telling the operator that there’s a no-contact order between her and David until November.

“Now my car keys are missing!” Jenelle says as David can be heard grumbling and yelling in the background. Jenelle asks David several more times where he put her keys.

“They’re my car keys!” David yells back.

“You literally just took my keys and unlocked my door,” Jenelle screams back before uttering her signature, “Gooood, duuuuude!” 

(Unfortunately, The Ashley had to edit some parts out the call out, due to identifying info being given during those parts, in case you are wondering why this part of the argument is missing from The Ashley’s call audio video.) 

Jenelle then bursts into tears, telling the operator she’s, “like, hopping out to my car, tryin’ to get my keys!”

The operator seems unmoved by Jenelle’s tears, simply muttering, “Yeah.”

David and Jenelle continue yelling at each other about car keys, while David mutters in between shouting sessions.

David then exclaims that “this is my place too!”

“He’s claiming that we got the place together but my name’s on the lease,” Jenelle tells the 911 operator. 

The 911 operator seems somewhat confused as to why Jenelle allowed David to be at her house, despite there being a no-contact order between them. Jenelle goes on to give the poor lady the whole trashtastic story.

“He came here to co-parent,” Jenelle explains as David grumbles loudly in the background. “I was letting him see my daughter. We were all takin’ them to school. And then he started yelling at my daughter, callin’ her a drug addict, saying her room looks like a druggie’s. He was saying she’s a ret**d; she’s stupid. And I was like, ‘Stop talking to my kid like that’ and it just escalated from there.”

Jenelle said Big Dave immediately came home and started rifling through her stuff, dumping out her purse and digging through her nightstand.

“He’s like, ‘I’m just tryin’ to leave, I’m just tryin’ to leave’ but at the same time he’s going through my stuff.”

Jenelle begins blubbering once again on the phone.

“Like, I bought all this for me after we got divorced!” she says in a high-pitched shrill. “This is all my stuff! I rebought everything and none of this is his! This is why we got the divorce so I had everything. And I had to rebuy stuff because I moved. I still own my house in North Carolina but I needed help at the time so, yeah, I asked him to come help and go visit my daughter at the same time! But everything is mine. I have receipts.”

Jenelle then explains why she brought David to her home in the first place, explaining that their daughter Ensley was in the hospital in January, so she was forced to notify him, despite there being a no-contact order between them. (This, of course, does not explain why Jenelle let him shack up with her for seven months after Ensley was released from the hospital.) 

The fired ‘Teen Mom’ star then told the 911 operator that she already warned David that if he didn’t “calm down” she would call the cops on him.

“He said, ‘Do it! Do it, you dumb bitch!'” Jenelle claimed. 

“Yeah,” the 911 operator said again.

Jenelle then talked about David calling Ensley— who is nine— a drug addict.

“She’s going to go to school crying, and telling people, ‘My dad called me a drug addict’ and she doesn’t even know about drugs,” Jenelle insisted, before confirming that Ensley and her son Kaiser were at the home when this occurred, but had been instructed to stay in their rooms. She then cries about not being able to drive the kids to school.

“Yeah,” replies the 911 operator. 

Jenelle continues sobbing, telling the 911 operator that she believes David now has her debit card. 

After a period of silence, Jenelle says that she thinks David left. 

“I think he left on foot…and he didn’t take nothing with him, which is weird and makes me think he’s gonna come back later on and try,” she added. 

According to the Incident Report (which was also obtained by The Ashley), cops found Ol’ Davey walking down Jenelle’s street. (We can assume he had some sort of hobo sack on a stick slung over his shoulder?)

David confessed to the officer that Jenelle has a no-contact order against him currently but, despite this, “they have been residing together for approximately one year in [an] attempt to coparent.”

When the officer spoke to Jenelle, she confirmed that her argument with David was only verbal and that it did not turn physical. The Incident Report states that the officer had a hard time finding the injunction Jenelle has against David and had to call around to a few places in North Carolina before a Lieutenant at the Detention Center there finally confirmed that there is, indeed, an active no-contact order between the two former soulmates.

“I explained this to Jenelle and she stated that when she applied for the injunction, she was told to keep a copy of the injunction with her at all time[s] because there would not be electronic records of it,” the officer wrote. “Jenelle did not have that copy with her.”

The cop then advised Jenelle that she should transfer the injunction to Florida. He also advised David that he is not allowed to return to Casa de Jenelle. 

David was not arrested and, according to Jenelle, has not contacted her since she blocked him. Last week, David was spotted at a bar in North Carolina.
