“90 Day Fiance” Star Eric Rosenbrook Claims Show’s Producers Edited Scenes & Used Threats to “Get What They Want”

When you didn’t actually kick your teenage daughter out of your house, she was merely edited out of it… or something.

Eric Rosenbrook of 90 Day Fiancé is calling out producers for allegedly editing scenes and threatening cast members in order to “get what they want” for the show.

During an online interview with The Domenick Nati Show last week, Eric appeared alongside his wife Leida Margaretha, who, as fans of the show may recall, did not get along with Eric’s daughter, Tasha.

However, Eric claims that the drama between himself, Leida and Tasha that viewers saw on TV was edited in a way that didn’t tell the entire story.

“They remove context,” he claimed. “In our season, between us and Tasha, they just removed the context completely and they put in their own narrative. They edited it in a way that explains it in a way they wanted it displayed and if they would’ve played the whole conversation, it would have changed everything.”

On Season 6 of the show, the friction between Leida and Tasha –– who was a teenager at the time –– ultimately led Eric to kick Tasha out of his house and Leida to file a four-year restraining order against her, which was granted in February 2019.

While speaking about his current relationship with Tasha, Eric revealed he does see his daughter occasionally; however, things remain strained in the aftermath of their falling-out.

“Some things that had been done during the dispute can’t be undone currently right now, unfortunately,” he explained. “ … So the relationship is just kind of kept down low. We don’t really do much together.”

And by “some things,” he means this entire scene.

Eric said, although he was never given a script during his “90 Day Fiance” season, scenarios and storylines were created for the show by those working behind the scenes.

“They don’t script, but they produce,” he said. “So they will create scenarios, they will create situations.”

Eric said production would often tell Leida to bring up her energy, telling her “the story is so boring.”

She seems pretty energetic to us…

He also mentioned the interview shoots for the show, which he said would run until producers got the material they needed, no matter how long it took.

“The interviews, when you’re sitting in the chair, you’re sitting in that chair for 12 hours,” he said. “Literally, you’ll go all night if they don’t get what they want. You go through questions and they ask you different ways.”

Aside from his displeasure with the show’s editing and the threats he endured, Eric said his experience working with TLC was otherwise “pretty good.”

“During [filming] they treat you pretty good,” he said. “Except for when they threaten you if you don’t give them what they want.”

Still, Eric said he and Leida’s “90 Day Fiance” days are in the past, (something they previously announced in 2018) unless the network agrees to pay them each $5,000 per episode and buy them a truck. In fact, Eric said he proposed this offer to TLC when he was asked to appear on a “90 Day Fiance” spinoff; however, the network didn’t agree to his terms.

“They were like, ‘No, we don’t do that,’” Eric said. “And I was like, ‘All right cool, then leave us alone.’”

  1. Leida aka SATAN is THE worst person that has been on this show, and that’s including Babygirl Lisa and Ed, so that should tell you everything you need to know right there.

  2. Leida is one of the worst characters this show has ever seen. Who does she think she is to march into the US with no money, with her son, expecting a new husband to support them, and turn his back on his own kids? Thought this stuff only happened in movies 😐 I feel bad for Tasha. You can see the hurt in her face. Shame that her own father has such ugly true colors.

  3. It was his daughter’s place and she let him live with her. He kicked her out of her own place for his monster of a wife Leida. The article has one major fact wrong.

  4. These two are just both terribly bad people , a restraining order isn’t fake, enough said.
Buy him a truck? I’m sure that was her idea… Like wanting a $4,000 couch when he didn’t have two nickels to rub together, how do you edit that?

  5. I hated these two. I thought my stepmom was a terrible person..Leida is the ultimate stepmonster. Glad their 15 minutes of fame is over and hope they live a miserable life together!

  6. Yeah, I’d be trying to save face too if I was a shitty “father” who choose some mail order whiny, lazy, insufferable bimbo over my own flesh and blood.

Leida you are so mean, just because you are chasing an American green card you decided to chase Tasha away from her dad, while you brought your own child from your previous marriage, you are wicked and dirty. I will pray to God that he punishes you Heavily. You make ne suck little girl chasing old men.

  8. The reality is that they don’t speak much to his daughter so not sure how exaggerated it could be. Leida was horrible and she said some pretty terrible things and if they aren’t scripted per him then they should own those words and actions. No one forced them to do any of that and they could have walked away or just acted boring.

  9. Do any of these people really think a TV production company is going to pay them what is pretty good money for a limited amount of time for people to watch them just go about life? That’s not television, folks. Of course they need interesting stories, and once they’ve invested in you, if you don’t provide the interesting story, they are going to make one up. Why do people want to be victims to extend their 15 minutes of fame?

  10. Point of fact…the apartment they were in was TASHA’S…her dad was basically homeless so she let him stay at her apartment where he brought that heinous woman. She got kicked out of her own apartment by her own father in favor of his “wife”. The whole thing is absolutely wretched.

His hashtags are synonymous with talking out of both sides of his ass.

She said she didn’t want his kids in the picture and didn’t want him to pay child support. But expected him to treat her son like a prince. The double standard and the fact that wasn’t a sticking point for him was outrageous. I can’t believe he helped his wife take out a restraining order on his daughter. He damaged his daughter so badly.

  13. He is kind of talking out of both sides of his ass. On the one hand is acting like the drama between him, his daughter and wife was manufactured. Then he turns around and says that unfortunately certain things can’t be undone. No shit, Sherlock. Choosing a woman over your daughter can’t be undone. Getting a 4 year restraining order against your daughter can’t be undone. No offense, but I had totally forgotten who these people were and had to google to refresh my memory..lol!
