“I don’t know… I think she’s blond?”
Welcome to Plathville returns later this month for another season of fair-haired Fundie family feudingâŠand plenty of moments sure to make viewers cringe like only the Plath Family can!
While the series certainly isnât lacking cast members, the new season will once again not include one of Kim and Barry Plathâs nine children: 21-year-old Hosanna Plath.
This week, Moriah and Micah Plath discussed their sisterâs decision to not appear on ‘Welcome to Plathville,’ explaining that Hosanna simply wasnât interested in being a part of the TLC series.

âShe got married at a young age and moved off with her husband and started her life somewhere else,â Moriah explained. âAnd she didnât want to be on the show and we were kind of all just, like, yeah, I mean, itâs her life ⊠Sometimes we keep in touch to some extent, but itâs also, like, sheâs across the country, and, you know, it would just be a hassle and she doesnât want to be on the show.”
For Micah, a âcertain extentâ means heâs only seen his sister, who lives in Ohio, a âcouple of timesâ since she married husband Timothy Noble in 2019. However, Micah said he plans to change that soon.
âIâm planning on making a road trip [soon] to go and see them,â he said.
Although Micah and Moriah donât see Hosanna often, they do get to see their older brother Ethan and Ethanâs wife Olivia regularly, as the couple lives close by.
âI see [them] three or four times a week normally,â Micah said. âThey still live right down the road from me, so we hang out every now and then.â

Moriah said she sees her older brother âall the time.â
While Micah and Moriah continue to âhang outâ with Ethan and Olivia, Plath parents Kim and Barry remain estranged from their son and daughter-in-law after years of feuding. Just this week, Olivia revealed she and Ethan no longer associate with Ma and Pa Plath, even for the TLC series.
âNow we are so much happier and continue to make choices that reflect cutting out drama and choosing peace,â Olivia said of the coupleâs decision.
Despite the ongoing feud, Moriah and Micah hope to see the family reconcile eventually.

âI mean, ultimately that would be the ideal situation [to have our parents forgive them],â Micah said. âI donât see that happening anytime soon. And part of me is also like, if it happens, thatâs going to look weird, too. Like, how is that gonna happen? ⊠after, like, roughly three years of not talking? How? We canât just bury it all at once. Itâs going to take a long time.
âI feel like time is going to be the biggest thing,â he continued. âUm, maybe a little bit of growing ⊠and just realizing that grudges arenât the best. But I mean, I donât really know, itâs been like this for so long that itâs like, what would a different life look like? What would a perfect family look like?â

Though the Plath family feud remains in place, 17-year-old Lydia seems to be moving forward and growing up.
When asked about her younger sisterâs âglow-up,â Moriah admitted she may have influenced the mini-makeover âa tiny bit.â

âLydia and I have had a couple of sleepovers and every sleepover Iâm like, âAll right, letâs do face masks, letâs do lotion,ââ she said. âLike, everything we can possibly think of for ourselves ⊠put some makeup on, whatever we want to do. I may have influenced her a tiny bit in that area, but I also think sheâs just kind of growing up on her own.â

Even though Lydia is âgrowing up,â Moriah doesnât see her sister âbranching outâ and entering the dating scene anytime soon.
âLydia is very accepting of my way of living and sheâs ⊠more openminded than the rest of my family used to be, at least, but I still think that sheâs very just, like, sticking to her own what she believes is right and I donât really see her stepping outside of that, but you never know. Weâll see.â
Moriah did admit that sheâs seen âsome hintsâ of her sister stepping out of her comfort zone, to which Micah agreed.

âI really feel like sheâs become more accepting and a little more openminded and…I would be surprised, but not too surprisedâ if she did branch out and start, ya know, dating a little bit, figuring things out on her own,â he said. âJust being more independent.â
Micah called Lydia âone of the most hardworking and kindâ of all the Plath children.
âItâs crazy,â he said. âLike, whoever she ends up with is going to be a lucky guy, Iâll say that.â
Season 3 of âWelcome to Plathvilleâ premieres August 24 on TLC.

MA and Pa PLATH ARE CRAZY!!!! MY HEART BREAKS FOR THE CHILDREN REMAINING IN THEIR CARE! DISGUSTING !!!
I applaud Ethan’s ability to stand up to them and defend his wife.
My heart breaks for him too, he loves his siblings, you can see it. It’s sad they have to be mixed up in this but unfortunately until they turn 18 I guess they have to be.
Will Lydia go to the dark side???âŠâŠ stay tuned! ?????
