A second spawn of The Situation is coming soon!
Jersey Shore Family Vacation stars Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and wife Lauren Sorrentino will be fist-pumping extra hard into the New Year, as the couple prepares to welcome their second child in January 2023.
Mike and Lauren confirmed their baby news over the weekend with a family photo that featured their son Romeo sporting a “Big Bro” t-shirt.
“We have an amazing announcement!!” Mike shared Sunday on Instagram. “We’re a growing family! Baby on the way January 2023. God is Good.”
Mike and Lauren’s son Romeo was born in May 2021, nearly two years after the couple tragically suffered a miscarriage after Mike was released in prison in the fall of 2019.
Following Romeo’s birth, fans of ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ watched as the new parents found out their son would be staying in the hospital for a few extra days for monitoring, The Sun reports, with Mike calling the experience “the hardest thing I’ve gone through.”
Fortunately, Romeo was cleared to head home with his parents a few days later.
Baby Sorrentino #2 will be the 11th child to be born to the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast. Deena Cortese and her husband Chris Buckner welcomed their second son Cameron Theo in May 2021– the same month Mike and Lauren’s son Romeo was born.
Deena and Chris are also parents to son Christopher. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her husband Jionni LaValle have three children together; Jenni Farley has two children with her ex-husband Roger Mathews; Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has a daughter with his ex-girlfriend Jenn Harley; and Pauly D fathered a daughter in 2013 with a Las Vegas cocktail waitress.
Vinny Guadagnino and Angelina Pivarnick remain the only main cast members without children.

Mike is really the only JS member I can be excited about now. He turned his life around, got sober, STAYED sober and now that his life is back on track (I’m sure Lauren helped him through it too and was a great support), he is starting a family of his own. Romeo is a cute kid and I’m sure he loves how present his dad is in his life (contrary to *coughs* Rahn *coughs*)

Good for him, he really turned his life around and Lauren has been a good influence on him. Ron should take note!
Angelina and Vinny should make babies together. As much as they both deny ‘feelings’ for each other I think they suit each other. She’s crying over not having children yet and he’s forever single soooo may as well hook up and satisfy each other’s needs in more ways than one 🤷

Honestly, I am really proud of Mike. He used to be incredibly obnoxious (in my opinion) but after he got sober, things changed dramatically. I was also surprised and proud that he was able to actually come back to the show and STILL stay sober. Also, heading to jail to complete his consequence for not paying his taxes. Hopefully he continues on this path but I think at this point he will. Congrats to them.
Right?! I DESPISED Mike during his JS days, now he is my favorite! He is the only one who is level headed, stick to his convictions (of not drinking), maintaining his sobriety…Romeo has a great father figure and the new baby will have it too!
