MTV Finally Sets Premiere Date for ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ Season 1B: Watch the First Trailer

It’s like the clearance section of the SHEIN website threw up…

Nothing is certain except death and taxes…and an endless supply of Teen Mom!

The never-ending MTV franchise is rolling out another season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. On Tuesday, the network released the first trailer for the new season (which is officially Season 1B and not Season 2).

A premiere date has been set for Wednesday, July 19. (This marks the first time the show has aired on a night other than Monday or Tuesday.)

“New houses, new spouses, and at least one lap dance: That’s what ‘Teen Mom’ fans have to look forward to when MTV’s ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ returns,” reported Entertainment Weekly, which was the first to release the trailer.

“Cheers to milking our unplanned teen pregnancies for yet another six months or so!”

All of the ‘Next Chapter’ girls will be back for the new episodes, and, as The Ashley previously told youTeen Mom: Young & Pregnant stars Kayla Sessler and Kiaya Elliott will make “guest” appearance(s) this season.

The new episodes will focus on the upcoming weddings of Jade Cline and Sean Austin, and Ashley Jones and Bar Smith. (The latter broke up a few months back but have seemingly reconciled since.)

“I’m in full wedding-planning mode,” Jade says as she tries on wedding dresses. “I’ve never done this before.”

The season will also cover Maci Bookout‘s improved relationship with her baby daddy Ryan Edwards. As The Ashley told you, Ryan and Maci continued to film together even after his initial arrest in February and Maci has been supporting him through his, um, “legally challenged” journey this year.

Move over, Dr. Drew…Ryan’s coming back as the show’s Silver Fox…in between jail sentences, of course.

Other topics covered this season will be Cheyenne Floyd trying to call a truce between her and Ashley. In the trailer, Ashley is shown blowing off Chey’s attempt to reconcile.

“I really don’t have anything to say to you,” Ashley tells Cheyenne on the phone.

Leah Messer gets herself on the pole (as you do) after her breakup with fiancé Jaylan Mobley, and Briana DeJesus gives her baby daddy Devoin Austin a lap dance (as you do), as the other ‘Teen Mom’ stars hoot ‘n’ holler.

Clear out the bathroom stall at ‘da club!’ It’s time for these two to make another baby, apparently…

Briana tells her mom, Roxanne, that Devoin was “hitting on” her and that he was saying that he was going to sleep with her.

In other news, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra will discuss their regrets about placing their oldest daughter, Carly, for adoption at birth.

“I’m really sorry that we didn’t get to parent her,” Tyler tells Catelynn tearfully.

Of course, there will be plenty of scenes of the girls hanging out together, including a meet-up in California for Cheyenne’s daughter Ryder’s birthday.

‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ Season 1B premieres July 19 on MTV.

    1. A season of Cate and Ty talking about giving up Carly, now that’s something new and exciting, we haven’t seen season after season. 🙄

  1. rhine looks like nev’s co-host from catfish (not bothering to google the name) ~ except the co-host is actually pretty hot 🔥. and not serving time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  2. Hard Pass. I can go the rest of my life happily never viewing these people again. MTV may not want this dumpster fire to end but most of us do.

  3. So sick of seeing trashy young women insisting on sticking their tongues out for photographs. Close your damn mouth, you look like a blow up doll.

I assume that’s their goal, anyway.
